Terrible experience. They did not know what gluten was. I ordered the shepherds pie which they said was gluten free. I reacted almost immediately and did not eat it. I told the server who was fine. A manager came over first and said I was wrong and asked me to describe my symptoms. Two more managers came over and told me I was wrong. It was a terrible experience.
Ask a lot of questions about gf items. A few pasta dishes are marked gf, but it is made in the same water as the regular pasta (meaning it will get contaminated). I asked to have it cooked in separate water, but they could not accommodate.
I wound up getting salmon with broccoli and mashed potatoes, which was pretty good and for sure gf.
They offer ‘GF’ items except when you ask further questions you learn the sauces are not GF. The menu is deceiving. The burgers come with a special sauce which isn’t GF. The sauce in the ‘GF’ Steak Diane is not GF. The fries have a separate fryer but it is right next to the other fryer. Ask lots of questions and don’t assume the ‘GF’ offerings are automatically safe.
The Cheesecake Factory has an extensive gluten free menu. Gluten free options include pasta, burgers (with buns), and cheesecake for dessert.
Absolutely do not trust the GF on the menu. TELL THEM YOU HAVE AM ALLERGY. The GF meal I picked was salmon, broccoli and mashed potatoes just to learn the BROCCOLI is cooked in PASTA WATER. My stomach was so sick after leaving.
I have celiac and felt really good server was knowledgeable of what was safe and not. I would definitely go again..
Great service, food was good well served and not problems with gluten free. I’m coeliac so very important.
We only came here for a piece of cheesecake. Their GF cheese cake is delicious! If you have a sweet tooth like me you must try it!
