WAITSTAFF was friendly, assistant manager thought he knew what he was talking about, turns out even though he has training in gluten free stuff, he has no clue. He tried to tell me that I was wrong about gluten and wheat allergies (I think I would know what I'm talking about, I've been living with celiac for 15 years). Anyways, was insulted by him and also contaminated as well. Should have walked out after his comments, but hungry and pregnant I didn't listen to my gut.
my dad wanted to come for dinner and I was nervous after reading reviews of their gf pizza. I went expecting very expensive & horribly tasting pizza. not the case at all. their gluten free pizza was not bad at all!! I liked it. and it was reasonably priced. ($11 something for a 10 inch) the only thing is you can't get toppings because of cross contamination!
this gluten free pizza made me miss bad school cafeteria pizza. terrible and terribly expensive
While this location offers a GF pizza (with cheese), you cannot add toppings due to cross contamination. (They prepare all of the GF pizzas in the morning, add cheese and then refrigerate until ordered). All toppings are on the counter next to their prep area where they toss all regular pizzas.
This restaurant is not recommended for those with celiac. The amount of flour dust in the air is surprising. Discovered that there really aren't any other options unless you choose a veggie salad with oil/vinegar. The Italian dressing isn't even safe, nor are their deli meats.
No
This was my favorite pizza place prior to being diagnosed with celiac. After learning they made gf pizzas in a bag to minimize cross contamination we got take out from there one night. It was one of the worst gf pizzas I have ever had. It was cold and rock hard by the time we got it home. My husband who doesn't have celiac and ordered a regular pizza said his tasted fine. I did try the cheese pizza one other time in the restaurant and it was better fresh out of the oven. However it seems they just use a frozen crust and add their sauce and cheese. It didn't taste any better than using a frozen crust and making it at home. Considering they charge extra for their gf pizza it just isn't worth the cost when it would be easier to make better gf pizza at home.
Yes
Chain now offers GF pizza!
Pizza was good and I'd definitely go back for it, but be warned it had almost nothing else that's GF. Not a single appetizer was GF, just a warning in case you wanted to go with friends but didn't want pizza.

They offer both a gluten free crust and a cauliflower crust. I tried the gf crust, while my husband got the cauliflower and also tried my gf pizza. I’m not sure if the cauliflower is gf, so I didn’t try it.
I was satisfied with the gf crust, could have been crispier, but it tasted fine. The toppings and cheese were really generous (I got mushroom and pepperoni, and there was a ton of cheese on it).
Of the two, my husband preferred the cauliflower crust. These crust options are only available in personal-sized pizzas. Overall, it was nice to have a takeout pizza option, but I think we’ll continue to just get the Costco Kirkland brand frozen cauliflower crust pizzas.

Review for Eileen by fiance
We've been hearing about Coal Fire's gluten free pizza, how good and safe they are, even came here while researching, however... My fiancé who's a celiac has been vomiting for the past 40 minutes. There is no doubt that she was glutened as this is how it presents with her. Not a whole lot more to say, but clearly not as safe as folks have made it out to be.

The gluten-free pizza is good, but however the service here is seriously lacking. After we were done eating did our server ask us if we wanted refills.
