They changed their gloves before serving me and seemed to get it. Would go again. Basically a step above Chipotle.

From their allergen list: We have worked diligently to remove wheat gluten from all our sauces, dressings, and proteins. Natural glutens remain only in our flour and wheat tortillas and in two desserts--tres leches and key lime pie. This means that we offer "oceans of gluten-free options" in our menu. All of these items are gluten-free: all enchiladas, all tacos, all salads (without the flour or wheat tortilla), all nachos, and our chicken tortilla so up...which uses corn strips.
We enjoyed this restaurant. We had the grilled chicken nachos without any upset. The fresh pico was great. Queso also very good. The staff was somewhat knowledgeable about celiac. They do make fresh tortillas here but everything else is GF. No other fried food in the fryers but chips (I think). Maybe some risk of contamination as they are making tortillas from scratch, but we did not get sick.

I eat here frequently and have never had a problem. They are good about changing their gloves. I usually get a salad without the tortilla.

This restaurant does have a gluten free menu, but are completely unaware of cross contamination. For example, they have a tortilla press that they use for flour tortillas as well as corn tortillas, which they don't wash in-between. They also mark their corn tortillas on the menu as gluten free which definitely is not safe for celiacs.
My husband ordered a Baja bowl, which is essentially a burrito served in a bowl without the shell. He really enjoyed it (he's a non celiac but is gluten intolerant), but we won't be going back as there wasn't anything safe for me to eat there.

Staff was kind and knowledgeable. Changed gloves and washed their hands without being told. They also let us “tweak” the side of chips to have melted cheese instead of having to order a huge order of nachos for a child.

Server immediately changed gloves and washed hands when I mentioned a gluten allergy, in addition, he pulled my tray from the back and used the serving counter in the back to prevent cc, and walked my tray himself through the rest of line, communicating with other team members that he had an allergy order. Very impressed with how he handled everything! Everything is gf except for the flour tortillas.
