Large Italian food market with several small restaurants inside. La Pizza & La Pasta was only place we could find with menu items marked GF.

As others have said, only two dishes can be made celiac-safe, and both are salads. In NYC, there are so many other places that are more worth your time and money

The hostess told me that they can make any pasta dish gluten free. When I ordered with the waiter he said no only two dishes can be made gluten free.

The staff at Manzo was very knowledgeable about celiac and made us feel safe. My daughter got the pasta with bacon and it was DELICIOUS! She had gelato as well. We actually went ahead and bought 2 bags of the dried pasta to take home. You could not tell it was GF! She did not get sick!

La Pizza La Pasta at Eataly offers both GF pizza and pasta options. They can substitute all pasta dishes (except filled pastas and spaghetto pomodoro) with the GF option. I got the Cacio E Pepe and it was delicious! Staff was very knowledgeable, told me GF Pizza is cooked in same oven as regular pizza so avoid if you have celiac, but GF pasta should be safe for all.

As a place to buy supplies, it’s fine, but after getting the run around from different staff at various places, when I finally spoke to a waiter, he told me there’s risk of contamination in all of their kitchens.

I’m not sure if they recently changed their menu option but they had no gluten free pasta options. Even the steak with no sauce couldn’t be done GF safely since they use a shared flat top grill with their focaccia bread (as told by the knowledgable waiter). The only option he recommended was the chicken as that was baked. I was fine eating it but the dish was very underwhelming and not very Italian for such an Italian spot.

We ate at Eataly after going to the 9/11 memorial. I was not impressed! They had a salad and they had a pasta option. The pasta was cooked al dente which I think must be a New York thing. I personally don’t care for it. We paid $24 for a pasta with a little sauce on it and I could not eat it. It just did not taste good (to me). Dine elsewhere if you’re celiac.

The pasta is incredible! It takes extra time to cook it so be prepared to wait.

My only complaint is being Eataly, the fact that they only have one style of pasta that is completely free is a little sad.

EXCELLENT experience! I ended up sitting at the bar, so I was able to watch my meal be cooked from start to finish. They use a noticeably different pan to cook the GF pasta, and my meal was delicious and carefully handled. I ordered a Lumache con Salsiccia e Finocchio. Great service too!

Overwhelming with yumminess! The gluten free pasta tasted great and was cooked perfectly. There isn't a gf pizza option but the ambiance and people watching made up for it.

The gluten free pizza is amazing- fluffy and delicious. Brings me back to my gluten eating days! I crave it all the time. They also have many gluten free pasta options and things on the regular menu are GF too!

La pizza and La pasta- got the gnocchi which was already gf on the menu. I am sensitive with cross contamination and did not have any reactions from it. Overall the food was really good, but expensive for the portion size.

Had a modified bruschetta board from the meat and cheese place. Subbed the bread for prosciutto for extra fee. Tasted great and was a good size for a meal.
