I’m not sure if they recently changed their menu option but they had no gluten free pasta options. Even the steak with no sauce couldn’t be done GF safely since they use a shared flat top grill with their focaccia bread (as told by the knowledgable waiter). The only option he recommended was the chicken as that was baked. I was fine eating it but the dish was very underwhelming and not very Italian for such an Italian spot.

We ate at Eataly after going to the 9/11 memorial. I was not impressed! They had a salad and they had a pasta option. The pasta was cooked al dente which I think must be a New York thing. I personally don’t care for it. We paid $24 for a pasta with a little sauce on it and I could not eat it. It just did not taste good (to me). Dine elsewhere if you’re celiac.

The pasta is incredible! It takes extra time to cook it so be prepared to wait. My only complaint is being Eataly, the fact that they only have one style of pasta that is completely free is a little sad.

EXCELLENT experience! I ended up sitting at the bar, so I was able to watch my meal be cooked from start to finish. They use a noticeably different pan to cook the GF pasta, and my meal was delicious and carefully handled. I ordered a Lumache con Salsiccia e Finocchio. Great service too!

Overwhelming with yumminess! The gluten free pasta tasted great and was cooked perfectly. There isn't a gf pizza option but the ambiance and people watching made up for it.

Eataly was great in catering to my allergies and the quality of the food was amazing and it was so good! The staff was great with coordinating with the kitchen about my allergies.

The most ahhmazing gluten free PIZZA🍕 It was the best pizza I've ever had, including "real" pizza before being diagnosed with celiac. Please note that the pizza is cooked in the same oven as the other pizzas, so you're taking a risk. I am SUPER sensitive to cross contamination and did not get sick.

The only thing GF here seems to be their Gelato. But it’s real and it’s fabulous! They also have GF pasta for sale in their grocery department.

I️ found they did not offer a gluten free menu. They had many options that would be considered gluten free, but I️ had to work hard to sort out any cross contamination issues. The area we ate in did not serve gluten free pasta, but a different area did. I️ find this to be totally ridiculous. As a newly diagnosed celiac I️ did not feel extremely comfortable eating there. I️ love this place so I️ truly hope they can figure out how to introduce a gluten free menu and gluten free pasta throughout the restaurants. Also, education of the staff would make it much easier to navigate. Maybe some gluten free bread-wow that would be amazing!

Lots of yummy gf options. I've had great pasta here, and this visit we were in a hurry so I was advised to go to the rotisserie. I had amazing prime rib with potatoes and greens. There are also several gf dessert options at the coffee bar.

Their whole fish with skin on is to die for! so many flavors of citrus and Herb with a delicious crispy skin and a light flaky interior that they will debone for you at the table. the assorted root vegetables have a delicate butter glaze that seem to have a hint of Dill . Honestly, it was beyond fabulous . Excellent presentation and as always wonderful wine pairings everywhere.

Ate here last weekend with my daughter. They are more dismissive with my concern than dutiful, but I think because they deal with it all the time. They answered all the right questions about using a separate pot, etc. They can do any of the pastas (except ravioli of course). However, I ordered off the fresh section instead of Imported, and they didn't tell me until I was finished that it was sold in a package in their store, not make by them. But it was good anyway. I had the seafood pasta with a tomato/wine sauce, and my daughter loved her Buccatini. They had a good Italian wine I enjoy at home As well. For dessert I went downstairs and had the granita. I think I could have had the gelato but didn't want to think about CC. Great service and I would come again if my family "needed" Italian.

I had gluten free pasta with Italian bacon. This is actually several testaurants or cafes and a large Italian food store owned by Mario Batali (he's a Food Network Italian chef). I had Casarecce all' Amatriciana, gluten free pasta, guanciale (Italian bacon), red onion, tomato, chili flake and pecorino Romano cheese. It was so good! I am tried some cheeses and the tartufo salami. I had the GF semifreddo (made with a rice flour sponge cake base) for dessert. I also bought some GF pasta and cookies to take home. Fun place!

The waitress seemed less than excited about having to deal with a Celiac. That should have tipped me off. I got very ill last night and felt awful today. I suspect stray non GF noodles.

I avoided the pasta area- and simply went with the small plates, cheese and vegetables. I bought a bag of fabulous Gf potato chips to help with my cheese plate. Fantastic!

THE BEST GLUTEN FREE PASTA EVER. There are several places to eat here but I make my way straight to the pasta restaurant. Any pasta on the menu can be done GF except for stuffed pastas. I has no idea if there are other GF offerings in the building because I just can't eat anything else! You can buy the pasta here too.

We tried to go here for some pastries. When we called to check about cross contamination, we were told not to worry. Upon arriving, we were told everything came in contact with wheat. Save yourself time and aggravation and skip this place.

I had a delicious pasta in their pizza and pasta restaurant. There were quite a few gluten-free options in the restaurant but pizza was not GF. The pasta was cooked perfectly al dente and was delicious. The best part of the night was buying a pastry from the pastry counter- so many to choose from. I chose a classic Tiramasu and it was wonderful. I am planning my next trip to Chicago as I head to the airport so I can go back here.
