Perfect spot for a quick and tasty breakfast / brunch. The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable on gluten. Separate gluten free menu and separate frier. Always careful to check if it is in fact an allergen. Kept coming back as so convenient for me while visiting Evanston.

Good food, breakfast/lunch options. Most importantly, I did not get sick. Consistent Egg Harbor Cafe chain quality. Separate gluten free menu upon request with lots of options. I got the frittata, toast and orange blossom green tea which is served loose leaf. Everything was yummy! They have the Sweet Ali’s gf cinnamon rolls that everyone loves. I actually preferred the gf toast with jam though. I really liked their bread. Looking forward to going back and getting a sandwich or avo toast with that bread. I did not ask about food prep precautions as I was relying on the Egg Harbor chain’s gf reputation. That’s why I scored the Safety rating at only 3 hearts.

Great spot for breakfast. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable and take celiac seriously. There was a mistake and my food came with an English muffin. The meal was quickly removed and they made me a new meal. Waiter even double checked that first meal wasn’t just “recycled”. Highly recommended

This is the second time we have been here and so far so good. I am celiac and have not had any issues. While they do not have a GF space in kitchen I have not had cross contamination issues. They have a GF cinnamon roll they get from a local bakery that is soooo good and the rest of the family really likes the other dishes. On our list of regular places.

This used to by favorite brunch place for celiac safe food, but the last time I went I got horribly glutened. My mom (also celiac) had the same reaction when she tried going again after that. I’m not sure if it was the staff or a change in protocol, but we made clear both times that we had celiac disease and they said they could accommodate. Please be cautious going here, I hope they can make it safe again!

Have been many times with my celiac family - no issues!
They have a huge GF menu, safe handling protocols, and even separate colored dishes to cue staff and diners that the food is gf. We love it here
