The food was so delicious. I ordered the meal that included one cinnamon roll and my husband had the habanero hash and eggs which was also gf. We both had the spiked lemonades. I left feeling so satisfied and did not get sick as I typically get extremely sick when there’s any cross contamination. I absolutely love this place and next time I go I think I’ll try the gf pancakes because they have those as well! I feel safe eating here.

Check your order carefully. Lately they have been making a lot of careless mistakes with GF orders! Dangerous for celiacs!
Large GF menu and food was all delicious. We went for breakfast, everything was good but my kiddos especially enjoyed the pancakes and my cinnamon roll was so good. Staff was kind and knowledgeable. My son and I are both very sensitive and had no problems.

Amazing GF pancakes, eggs and cinnamon rolls. As long as you tell the staff, they are great about handling celiac.

I love egg harbor!! They cook with fresh ingredients and I love getting skillet with lots of veggies. They are super accommodating and have a robust gluten free menu. To my knowledge, if you don't order off the gf menu they will charge extra for gf toast. I get the toast as a substitute for fruit ordering from the gf menu and they do not charge me extra. (FYI- I do not have celiac.)

Out of towner from Green Bay, Wisconsin. Had the scrambled eggs, pancakes, bacon and a cinnamon roll. Everything was excellent except the microwave bacon. I don’t comprehend spending $15 on a meal and getting microwave bacon. But everything else was excellent. My husband, who is not gluten free ordered the regular cinnamon roll and couldn’t even eat it, it was so dry. He liked mine better.

I had a wonderful experience. There is a separate gluten free menu, that offers plenty of wonderful, tasty options. I ordered the California Club, Connamon roll, and peppermint green tea. I was so pleased. Will definitely be back. 10 out of 10 would definitely recommend.

They have really gone downhill precaution wide. The last few times I have been there or ordered carry out they have mixed up the order and added gluten items to the order (bringing wheat English muffins or toast to table, and adding them to take out order!
Very dangerous for celiac!
No longer safe for celiacs! This used to be my go to place when visitng the Northshore. I have eaten there (celiac)many times. They have become careless. When I complained about being exposed to gluten errors (Wheat English muffin brought to table and placed in 2 carry out orders off the GF menu and regular pancakes brought to table) the young managers on duty were very defensive and took no responsibility.
Extremely disappointing. Too dangerous to go back for celiac!! Beware!!

Not a GF facility, but my understanding is that they take precautions. The staff was diligent about keeping the two GF plates in our group separate and safe.
Amazing! There were so many options on there that I haven't seen on a restaurant menu since going GF 2 years ago. It was hard to choose one! Gluten free cinnamon rolls/pastries are brought in from a nearby dedicated GF bakery.
Staff was conscientious and answered my questions. They brought out the GF plates (2 for our group) separately.

Gf menu and lots of fresh veggie options! Go for the avo toast on the conventional menu and sub gf bread 🤩🤩🤩
Extensive GF menu for breakfast and lunch. My kids love both. Staff friendly and knowledgeable.

Egg Harbor Cafe has locations all around the Chicagoland area. They have a large gluten free menu and prep food to avoid cross contamination. It is pretty tasty all-American food and great when you are looking to grab brunch.

Great place. Staff is very knowledgeable. All GF meals are served on dedicated blue plates. Food was delicious! Ordered identical meal to go for the next day.
We always go here for brunch and I've never had an issue. They are very knowledgeable and they toast the bread in a separate toaster. Their options are varied and they have a fast service.
This place is definitely celiac friendly. They have a separate prep area, a gluten free menu, and the servers are very knowledgeable. All gluten free orders come on colored plates, whereas non gluten free food comes out on white plates. While in the area for business, I ate breakfast here 3 times successfully.

I am so glad I came here for breakfast while in town on business. They had a huge GF menu! I had a huge plate of skillet with toast and a cinnamon roll. It was the most "normal" breakfast I've had in years. I would recommend this place to anyone!

Very good selection on the gluten free menu. I was excited to try the cinnamon roll since that isn't something I see as GF very often and I haven't been able to make them for myself. Unfortunately I was disappointed by the cinn roll - the flavor was decent but it was actually bits of GF dough put together more like pull-apart bread, not a roll at all. It was covered with sweet frosting so of course I ate it, but still wishing to have a traditional cinnamon roll again someday.

Extensive GF menu-- 2 pages long! My daughter had eggs and pancakes while I had a skillet breakfast with potatoes, eggs, veggies, and cheese. They were sensitive to cross-contamination issues, too.

Lots of options, good food, and knowledgeable staff.
Extremely knowledgeable about gf options and restrictions! Dedicate (HUGE) gf menu. If you sign up for the email lost, you get a free cinnamon roll coupon.

Just found out our 4 yr old has Celiac. This is our new breakfast place! Our first time out to eat. Our server was wonderful. GF pancakes were amazing!! All GF food came out on a red plate. Yum!!
Great GF menu with wide range of breakfast and lunch offerings. Pancakes, bacon and eggs were tasty. Very friendly staff.

They have a separate gf menu if you ask for it! The food is so yummy and they have gluten free pancakes and a gluten free cinnamon roll!! Both are delicious, can't get enough.
Great spot for breakfast. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable and take celiac seriously. There was a mistake and my food came with an English muffin. The meal was quickly removed and they made me a new meal. Waiter even double checked that first meal wasn’t just “recycled”. Highly recommended

This is the second time we have been here and so far so good. I am celiac and have not had any issues. While they do not have a GF space in kitchen I have not had cross contamination issues. They have a GF cinnamon roll they get from a local bakery that is soooo good and the rest of the family really likes the other dishes. On our list of regular places.

This used to by favorite brunch place for celiac safe food, but the last time I went I got horribly glutened. My mom (also celiac) had the same reaction when she tried going again after that. I’m not sure if it was the staff or a change in protocol, but we made clear both times that we had celiac disease and they said they could accommodate. Please be cautious going here, I hope they can make it safe again!
