This place was amazing! The waitress was very knowledgeable about what could be made gluten free or not and recommended the ceviche with plantain chips and the fish of the day with the bean salad. Both were incredible, the ceviche was the best I’ve had. She did not recommend the other chips because they were made in a shared fryer.

The servers and chef were knowledgeable about what a gluten allergy is and informed me the items I could and could not eat. The tacos are with flour tortillas. I had the pina colada salad with a side of grilled shrimp - they took a crunchy topping off of the salad that had gluten and cooked the shrimp separately. They also recommended the filet as a gluten free option (with the bean salad option).

A hidden gem. Doesn’t look like much - a simple blue food truck with outdoor seating area - but the “sea to table” food is fantastic. We chatted with the chef and owner Jorge, and learned that he was head chef at the Ritz Carlton for 10 years before he left to start this restaurant slightly less than a year ago, combining his love of spearfishing (sic!) with high cuisine.
The seafood was divine. No gluten free menu, but Jorge was very knowledgeable about celiac and gluten, and recommended ceviche and Pesce do Giorgno. The ceviche was the best I’ve had!
I highly recommend. This place and chef are certainly up and coming. If you’re willing to travel off the beaten path for a true culinary experience , you won’t be disappointed.
