The staff here were so amazing. They really take cross contamination seriously. I had the Italian sub. It was really good!
I loooove their gluten free bread and they’re always so nice. Any sandwich can have GF bread and some of their chips are GF too

Wife has eaten here several times and has not yet gotten sick. There is a manager there who goes above and beyond making sure the work area is cleaned and workers are informed about taking precautions to avoid cross contact. Same work space and oven. They use Schar bread that is individually sealed. Since the GF bread is one size they weren't able to do the ring up the kids meal GF.
They were SO careful with my gluten free sandwich and I did not get sick. Great GF bread, but I do recommend not getting your sub toasted as there is cross contamination in the toaster. All in all great place.
They have gluten free rolls that are individually packaged. I usually call ahead to order and make sure they aren’t out of the GF rolls first. They’ll make any of their sandwiches on the GF roll and it takes great.
A Worker told me how to make the sandwich gluten free and was so sweet.(was my first time)if I eat gluten it will make me sick to the stomach love that they have a gluten free option.🫶🏼didn’t hurt my stomach at all.
I love that they offer gluten-free rolls and my favorite is "The Engineer" hoagie sandwich with sautéed mushrooms and onions on top. If you are extremely sensitive, there may be CC issues since they make subs with gluten bread. But I have not had any problems at Firehouse Subs, and have eaten at many different ones, quite a few times.
