We chose this restaurant for brunch because it provided glutenfree options. They get their glutenfree baked goods from a certified glutenfree bakery. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The food was great, there were good options. The chef/owner is present in the dining area, chatting with customers and helping out. We definitely recommend. I felt confident about not worrying about cross contamination. Service was good.

Fabulous restaurant with great food.

Chef is well trained with a culinary background as his second career.

He is friendly and personable and came and walked the restaurant after the breakfast rush. He shared that his sister is celiac and that’s where he learned the importance of tending to cross contamination.

Food was great. Biscuits are (safely) made in house. I had those and an omelette and grits and didn’t have any reaction. I’m a Sensitive celiac.

You can’t beat this place for breakfast or lunch! I had biscuits and gravy for the first time in over a decade! Delicious - can’t wait to come back!!

The reviews here were spot on! For breakfast, I enjoyed a GF biscuit and cinnamon roll. It’s been over a year since I’ve been able to have either of those, so had to order both 😂 They were delicious, but the best part? NO UPCHARGE for the GF biscuit. Talk about feeling normal!

Other GF options included waffle, pecan roll, sausage & gravy, and scones. Waitress mentioned they sometimes have muffins too.

Definitely a must if you’re near by! I got an omelet with gf biscuits. It came with grits (which I’m not a big grit person) and the gf cinnamon roll. Oh my goodness! It was huge and so so delicious!!! They also had gf waffles, gravy, etc but I wanted the omelette. I spoke with the chef too, when he came out to check on us, and he was very knowledgeable in of celiac disease and even has a sister with it. Highly recommend!

This restaurant is amazing. First time I have found southern style GF biscuits and gravy. The GF waffles were perfect as well. The chef’s sister has Celiacs which is why this place is so careful about procedure. Definitely give this place a try.

Amazing food and service! Ordered a BEC biscuit and cinnamon roll. Was nervous about the biscuit but it was delicious! Cinnamon roll was loaded with icing. I scraped that off and devoured the rest. What a great find!!! Loved it so much we went back the next day. Not a fan of the grits, but pecan roll was delish!

Took the ferry from Carolina Beach/Ft. Fisher today to go eat breakfast Fixins OKI, Southern Inspired Breakfast / Lunch in Oak Island. Chef Rick Dobrowski is serious about making sure gluten free eating is just that, gluten free/no CC. I started with a GF cinnamon roll and then had GF biscuit and sausage gravy w/side of bacon. All of the GF baked goods/breads come from a local GF bakery in Boiling Springs, NC.

My husband does not require a gluten free diet, and he was pleased with the menu variety. I had the gluten free biscuits and gravy, and it was outstanding! They also have gluten free waffles, muffins and bread. The wait staff was very knowledgeable about cross contamination. Rick is a master chef and extremely personable! We will definitely be back!❤

Incredible taste and variety. Chef Rick is VERY serious about his GF cafe. GF baked comes from a celiac supplier nearby and they handle food securely and add their own flavorful ingredients carefully.

Best sausage and gravy GF!! My girl loved the giant cinnamon bun, she’d never had one before.

This place gets celiac disease and cross contamination. They utilize a separate prep area and change gloves. The food was fabulous. We will definitely be back.

This place is amazing for people with celiac!!!! Things are carefully made and in separate areas!!! Many options such as waffles, biscuits with gravy, cinnamon rolls and many more missed foods!!!!! I felt like a kid in a candy store!!!!! Must try place!!!!!

Second time eating here and so far so good. A local gf baker supplies the gf biscuits cinnamon rolls etc and they are delicious. They did at first say breakfast potatoes were gf but when I inquired how they were cooked they said fried in a shared. So always as usual ask questions but the biscuits were amazing!!!

They do gluten free well! Many breakfast items are gluten free. New place open 3 months. Ate here twice on vacation. No reactions, chef came out to greet us at one point in our breakfast. So nice to have a gf biscuit with my eggs.
