Menu listed gluten free options however some of the options listed as gluten free were not safe for celiacs. For example shared fryers. Very disappointing

Not safe for celiacs or people with high sensitivity!!!! We ordered takeout and specified a gluten allergy. Upon receiving the food, I noticed items that should have been removed to comply with the allergy request. When we called, the restaurant claimed they 'didn't see' the allergy request, despite it being in all caps three times on the receipt they stapled to the bag. They didn't offer to replace the meal or provide a refund, taking zero accountability and attempting to shift blame on me for choosing takeout over dining in. Despite assuring the fries were safe, I had a flare after eating them because they weren't gluten-free as claimed.

Nice environment. Some good options for gluten free people as well as vegan. Since I avoid eating rice there we’re not a lot of options but the nachos and dragon fries were very delicious.

They make no effort to accommodate allergies. It is not safe for celiacs. I was told that I could « eat at my own risk » in a very hostile manner. The entire chain seems to share this aversion at accommodating allergies. It’s a shame. They need to get with the times.

First night in Toronto and we found this restaurant. Yay! They wince at the use of the words "gluten free," but they know exactly what you can eat. Our server explained that their kitchen is not free of all gluten but they would do their best. Their best was enough! The food is creative in flavor so if you are not adventuresome when it comes to reading a menu, you may be intimidated, but the wait staff will put you at ease. We each had the soup, cornbread, and salad combo. My husband and daughter had to order extra plates of cornbread before the kitchen closed. Wonderfully fresh!
My daughter takes me here every time I visit her and I've never been disappointed. Everything is fresh and made there. Love their unwraps. I am slowly working myself down the menu.
Yes
Eaten here many times an love their fresh bowls.
it's really delicious, but for some reason I feel sick every time I eat here from their GF menu. they don't have a dedicated GF facility, so I think there's enough cross contamination that it affects me...and I don't usually have a reaction to small cross contaminations
The waiter asked for allergies and I saw it was on the receipt later.
The menu has 'glutenfree friendly' options, clearly stating there could be cross contamination.
The bowl I picked (goddess) didn't have any fried elements and was delicious.

The server was very knowledgeable and helped point out which items were safe. She said anything that goes in the fryer or on the grill could have cross contamination, but there are several salads and bowls that are made without anything fried or grilled. I was also offered substitutions for most of the items to make them celiac safe.

No prevention of cross contamination.
I had a beach bowl with roast tofu. To have it gluten free you need to get it with rice - for some reason the rice was loaded with soy sauce or some equivalent so very salty tasting & it did nor go with the rest of the dish. And I had gluten reaction after eating there.

They don't use separate tools or surfaces and have the same grill for everything. It's ubsafe to eat there. Their gluten-free is NOT for celiac or NCGS.
