Celiac-They do a great job with trying to accommodate allergies. If you have allergies, you can ask for ingredients from the kitchen which aren’t cross contaminated, but it definitely makes you feel like a burden. You have to wait for your server and have them bring you out fresh ingredients. They seemed very short staffed, so you’re taking up a lot of your servers time when they have so many tables to manage already. They don’t offer gluten free noodles, so you can only have rice as the main ingredient, but they do offer brown or white rice. They go through a great effort to clean the grill and section it off when you give them your plate. They scrub it down hard! Allergy plates are designated with orange bowls rather than blue bowls for everyone else. The risk of cross contamination is still big and I regret taking that risk because I am SO sick. I appreciate their effort, but the burdensome feeling and risk of cross contamination aren’t worth it in my opinion and I sadly won’t be returning.

Surprisingly I did not get sick… I was impressed that they immediately asked if I had an allergy when I walked in so I could get a special allergy bowl. They cleaned the grill before cooking my food but the buffet was quite stressful… the wheat noodles being directly next to the rice (gf) was a concern. To be honest, the main concern. Everything else was labeled and we found a nutrition and allergy list online so we picked sauces and items based on that list. Again, shocked I didn’t get sick, but I didn’t!

They are amazing for allergies. They ultra clean the blazing hot grill with a metal screen and scrub for at least 5 minutes until its cleanly washed with no residue. They give a special colored bowl and it takes a little longer but so worth it. All sauces are gluten free except the straight soy sauce. They are great.

Perfection! Just tell your server you are gluten free.

Hardly anyone on a staff was knowledgeable about which sauces were gf. Asked for gf soy sauce and it took two tries to get it. Gluten free noodles were right next to the wheat noodles so I avoided them. In spite of telling them I'm gf and trying to be cautious in my choices, I got glutened. I had a much better and safer experience in the Spanish Fork location.

THIS IS THE BEST PLACE EVER! You have to tell them you have an allergy but they give you a different colored bowl and they will clean a space just for you on the grill. They're so careful and it's so yummy.

Kudos for HuHot's attempts (separate pink Celiac bowls, cleaning the grill). But cross contamination will always, always be a threat in a buffet-style place where other customers touch the tongs and ladles to their gluteny meals.

Fantastic experience. Great food. I have severe celiac and had great service. Grill was cleaned and separate bowls were given to me, due to my allergies. Will be going back in the near future.

They are more than happy to get your rice noodles from the back. They gave mea different color bowl and asked me what my allergy was when I brought my bowl to the grill. I loved it.

After going here several times, I feel that I have it down. The first time I went there, I got sick- very sick. The rice noodles are right next to the regular noodles and cross contamination is VERY high. After speaking to a manager, he was kind enough to tell me that they have no problem getting noodles from the back at request. Now, I ask my server to get my noodles from the back and have not had issues. Another poster here said that all the sauces are GF which is not true. They only have several that are gluten free, so be sure to get the allergen paper from your waiter so you know ahead of time what you can eat. Now that I have sorted that all out, I do not get sick. The chance for contamination is high, but cutting those major things out has helped me avoid the stomach ache.

I had high hopes for this place. It didn't work out so well the staff was somewhat to completely clueless what GF means. We walked out as cross contamination seemed high.

I really had high hopes for this place. the food is excellent and they do try to be cautious by cleaning grill bringing separate color coded bowl, etc... However, regular noodles next to meat fall in the meat causing cc. rice noodles right next to regular noodles, then the sauce same thing ppl touch the ladle to their food and another cc issue. I made some suggestions to improve the process. I hope they make some changes bc I really like their food, but I suffered a bad reaction and can't go back unless they do.

ThisHuHot is delicious and very cautious about food allergies and intolerances. If you haven't been here before, this is a buffet style Mongolian BBQ, so you get your own meat, veggies, noodles and sauces and they cook it on a grill for you. Before you step up to the buffet, they have little recipe cards for combinations that address various allergies. There are no less than 6 different recipe cards for those who eat gluten-free. There are rice noodles available, and if you tell the cooks at the grill you have a food allergy, they clean off a specific place and use cooking tools that are kept separate from others to avoid cross contamination. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is fun and inviting, and they have more than 100 beverages to choose from (mostly sodas - I had raspberry flavored Sprite Zero!). It's a great place for parties or a date. Try it out!

They mark your allergies by giving you purple bowls so they stand out for the chefs. I usually stick to just the oils but I believe the sauces are all safe. They clean the grill when they see there's an allergy and they use separate tongs for your food. I've never had a reaction here or left hungry! They will grab rice noodles or toppings from the back if you want!

This place is absolutely AMAZING with gluten free! While most other buffet style restaurants can become cross contaminated very easily, the manager had me go through and write down what I wanted, and prepared it with new containers of food in the back! ALL of their sauces are gf which made me feel so much better. He then alerted the grillers that there was an allergy. He made sure they cleaned the grill super well TWICE. The then used spatulas to block off a section of the grill for my food so no one else’s food would ever get close. They completely changed utensils and most importantly, I did not get sick! They even offered to do it all again if I was still hungry since it was a buffet!

I’ve been here a few times and always love it! Ask for an allergy bowl and they’ll give you a special yellow bowl to fill with your desired ingredients. You can choose whatever you like and everything is that is gf marked. Sometimes it’s marked with a “G” which confused me at first, but means gluten free. They also have recipe cards at the beginning of the line including a few gf recipes you can try!

The employees are very knowledgeable about allergies and I never have to ask them to clean anything. They see my yellow bowl and immediately clean and section off the grill so my food does not come into contact with anything else on the grill.
