We had gluten free and gluten pizza from Janino’s. Our GF family members loved their pizza and we felt good knowing that the owner has celiac and precautions are taken. Our gluten pizza was very good. My only suggestion is the gluten crust could use a bit more flavor. Overall, very happy with our meal and we will be back!!

They offer gluten free crust and fresh ingredients. The owner is allergic to wheat and understands reactions to food. Update - pizza was awesome! Owner is so sensitive to wheat that the regular dough has to be made in a separate area before she arrives. Only gluten free flour is used to toss the dough so there is no wheat flour floating around when the gluten free pizzas are made. The gluten free pizza dough comes in frozen. However, the ingredients are fresh and I thoroughly enjoyed my pizza. I'm so glad to find a pizza place in Gulf Shores that understands gluten free!

Our gluten free pizza was only ok. Ours was burnt. Don’t think I got glutened though.

Staff very knowledgeable on CC. They explained to me that the dough is not mixed on premises and all ingredients are assembled on site so they clean down countertops and roll out on prep boards for GF and regular crust kept seperately. At least 2 employees are NCGS. They listed the 3 toppings that were not guaranteed GF. We ordered and had our pizzas in 15 min. It is straight take out they no longer have tables inside.

Gets the job done but that’s about it. I can not see how they avoid cross contamination because they are working in a shoe box. No one got sick but my most sensitive Celiac didn’t feel well later in the evening and this was the only potential source of contamination all day. The rest of us were fine. Crust burnt all the way around and just ok. Toppings and sauce seem cheap. Carry out, no real sit down.

GF pizza! I went in a spoke and they can do any of their pizzas on gf crust. It was quick and tasted great! They clean the counters off for prep but I didn’t ask about cooking. I did not get sick from cross contamination though. I am super excited about trying the one in daphne now

I have Celiac Disease so I don't hardly ever go out to eat but every time I make it to Gulf Shores, I also make it to Janino's. They are excellent about information, cross-contamination, and adding new gluten free products. I just went there yesterday and was overjoyed to find they had added WINGS! And I was informed they will be adding gf pasta and breads in the near future as well. The owners wife and some of her family have Celiac and other gluten issues so they take this stuff super seriously. This is my absolute favorite restaurant, no question. Love Janino's!

Janino's had several different GF options, including chicken wings 3 different sauce options. The owner told me that their goal is to be able to offer gluten free pasta and hoagie options as well by next summer! They were very thorough in making sure all of my needs were met, and they did not act like it was an inconvenience. The pizza was AMAZING. We will definitely be back!

Good pizza and safe for Celiacs. The owners are Celiacs so they understand cross contamination. We ordered gluten free chicken/Canadian bacon and all bacon pizza.

Ordered a GF for my husband and a Regular Pepperoni for myself and our daughter. I am not sure what on earth happened but there were no pepperoni's on ours and the cheese literally made me gag . Unfortunately we did not open the pizza box until we got back to our condo or we would have requested our money back. The Gluten Free pizza crust was severely burned. We did not finish either pizza. Wasted slot of money unfortunately.

Despite previous reviews, our gluten free pizza was not gluten free even when following their gluten free topping suggestions. Both my husband and son had issues from gluten exposure. Likely related to limited work space as gluten free pizzas are made in same area as regular wheat flour crusts are made and hand tossed.

We ate here last night. We had a GF veggie and GF Canadian Bacon and Pineapple. We had read the reviews and just had to check it out. Our 2 celiac kiddos loved it as well as my husband and I. The staff is very knowledgeable and totally understands. The only things you cannot have are pepperoni, sausage or beef. But you can have ham and Canadian Bacon along with veggies etc. We will defiantly be back the next time we are in town. A must do for a celiac!!

The best gluten free crust I have ever had! The employee who answered the phone was very helpful and took his time to answer any questions I had. I got ham and pineapple on mine and it was delicious! I told my husband I could cry while eating it, it was that good and as close to regular pizza I've had since my Celiac diagnosis two years ago. It was worth the splurge. I ate it for dinner and then several lunches during the week. Planning on going back and trying the GF brownies before we head back to Kentucky.

Had chicken and spinach on my GF pizza and it was awesome! I called ahead and the owner was very nice and has relatives with food allergies. He couldn't guarantee the pepperoni was GF so I had chicken and spinach and it was a nice change. My husband and some enjoyed the regular pizza. My husband liked my GF pizza too. Just FYI..Allergic to gluten, corn, peanuts and soy...

The owner was nice and told us that his wife and granddaughter couldn't have gluten so I felt good about it. The pizza was great. Thin crust, but not grainy. I will echo what others said, it is a VERY SMALL restaurant. Parking is also extremely limited. We went for lunch and there wasn't a wait. I would recommend take out as there are only four tables and a unisex bathroom. I highly recommend it!

We went at a quiet time, and we got a couple of tables (there are only 4 inside, and they're fairly small). We saw six people come by for pickup. If it's busy, this would be the way to go. The GF pizza is a very good hand-made 14" thin crust. My son is Celiac, and I have wheat allergies. We were both fine. The owner is very careful to warn that there may be incidental contact with airborne flour, but they have a separate prep area, and we were great. The Manhattan (a Supreme) is the obvious choice, but The Long Island and The Sophia were the big winners with our two boys. We felt like the Manhattan was good but a little simple. It needed Parm and red pepper to come alive. The other two needed nothing. We'll definitely hit it again before we head home. And they have GF brownies and most of their gelato flavors are GF.

Delicious pizza! Warning: upon entrance, it looks totally different than expected. It's a very small place, and it was very busy when we went (most people waited 20 mins to order + 45 for their food)! It was too small & hot to sit inside, so we took ours to go and ate at the beach! It was DEFINITELY worth the wait (we knew it would be based upon how many people decided to wait). The edges of the crust were a tad burnt, but overall, it was one of the best GF pizzas we've had!

This place was the perfect spot for us! My son, who has celiac, got a huge Gf pizza. It was delish (I tried a bite and it tasted like regular thin crust pizza) and I have total confidence that there was no cross contamination. Side note--pepperoni and sausage were not Gf (my son got the hamburger and bacon toppings) They also had GF brownies which my son loved! The place is small but very clean and has a fun atmosphere. It was perfect for our family of 4. (And their regular pizza and Strombolis were awesome!)
