I'm extremely sensitive. We at dinner rush the last Saturday before Christmas. The restaurant was extremely busy, when I mentioned I had celiac disease, they asked took their time with us, helping me choose what I wanted and safe . The best meal I've had on years from a restaurant. We already have another visit planned.
When I asked my waiter Rob some detailed questions with the food and prep he got the Executive Chef Sean who personally came out to speak with me, make recommendations since I was Celiac , made sure I didn’t have any other food allergens and took my order himself. I had the Redfish, rice and got fresh fruit with it, and fresh lemons for the fish. I will only eat Wild caught fish so it had been many years since I had fish in a restaurant. I loved it! No reactions. The chef also personally brought my meal to me. I won’t say the chef has time to always do this but I felt real heard, understood , pampered and safe, more so than any other place I’ve ever eaten at as celiac. My family and I were all in awe!
We enjoyed our meal at Landry's. My wife has Ceeliac disease and was able to enjoy a delicious piece of salmon with baked potato. The waitress explained options well and checked with the kitchen when she wasn't sure. There were good pan-fried and sautéed seafood options as well as a fair veg selection. This place was a good choice for us.
The waitress was wonderful and helpful and helped me find that the Landry seasoning is gluten-free and several of the salad dressings are gluten-free. I had the house salad with blue cheese and the house dressing which were both wonderful. I had the grilled shrimp with the Landry seasoning and drawn butter and it was pretty bland. The loaded mashed potatoes were wonderful and the green beans were overly steamed and tasteless. Someone in the restaurant had steak and it smelled wonderful and I decided I should have tried that.
Menu is for “gluten sensitive”. Good selection of seafood, with beef/chicken options. We had redfish and Chilean sea bass, both were delicious, along with a vegetable and white rice as it was unknown if the rice pilaf was GF. Ice cream was the desert on the menu- the cream brulee comes with biscotti placed on the desert so specify to eliminate or place on side.
The GF menu was pretty boring and I think they don’t update it often. Many items could easily be altered to accommodate gluten intolerant folks but server didn’t offer or seem comfortable or knowledgeable. For example, crab legs are not on their gf menu but lobster is. For the prices they charge they should be more accommodating.
Had a wonderful dinner. Salad,Lobster, b. potato. All was great Best Lobster I've had in a long time. Our server Christopher was also very helpful and pleasant. Nice personality. 5
so disappointed. we eat at Landry's every time we are in Branson, it is usually wonderful. this time not so much. started having a reaction before I even left. there was a bug in my salad. my fish was was over done. my husband and son's fettuccini was dry and old. my dad's trout was raw. won't be back again
Great service, knowledge staff , good selections of gluten free choices. The food was delicious and the price was fair.
Small gluten free menu, especially compared to the regular menu. Had the red snapper grilled and it was ok. Not very flavorful, rather bland an expensive. $3 up charge for trading plain, white rice for baked potato - which I found ridiculous considering the very limited options. Total cost for two people was $84 with tip. Not worth it.
They have a dedicated "gluten intolerant friendly" menu. It has several choices of fish, shellfish, steaks and chicken. Steamed vegetable of the day (today it was broccoli), fresh fruit of the day (today it was banana, strawberry and the biggest blackberries I have ever seen). Just this week (Last week of Sept. '13) they started serving Angry Orchard in bottles. Everything our party had (including items from their normal menu) was delicious. Our server was spread a little thin, so our drinks didn't stay as full as we would have liked. Otherwise, no complaints. Our waitress was knowledgeable about their GF offerings and took our concerns seriously. Their patio is the place to eat if the weather cooperates!
They have a gluten free menu, but our food came out with bread crumbs sprinkled on top. The waiter told me it was cheese and then came back and said sorry it was bread crumbs. They brought us new food and I still ended up getting violently ill the next day. I will not be back ever again
