Super. The separate gluten free menu had many options. I had avacado toast with salmon and it was tasty….and most importantly didn’t make me sick. I had a taste of my Hubby’s GF belgian waffle with eggs and fresh fruit. That was good too
The gluten free Belgian waffle was so yummy! and dense! It felt like eating a normal waffle (I think? it’s been years haha). Also the first time in a while i’ve had multiple gf options to choose from in the first place, let alone multiple options that actually sounded good! I will definitely be back to try more! The latte tasted burnt but that wasn’t a big deal to me.
I had a wonderful breakfast here the other day. The waitress was extremely knowledgeable when I told her I had celiac disease and I could not do cross contamination. She told me exactly what I could or could not eat and guided me safely! I was able to have a waffle in a dedicated waffle maker and hashbrowns, made on their own skillet! It was a great breakfast and I really recommend it! I am a highly sensitive celiac and safely ate here.
This place is wonderful. There is a separate menu which includes some items where there is risk for cross contamination. However, they are VERY clear and well informed. For example, the French toast is cleaned prior to use but is still on the same grill. They recommend the waffle which has it's own toaster. The host, the waiter, everyone was so well informed and made me feel so comfortable with my choices. It was a bit of an emotional experience to eat somewhere that has so many options and care about their customers safety! The HR person who helped create the menu has celiac. Wonderful experience, highly recommend.
I ate there this morning for the first time. The lady behind the bar was amazing and brought me their gluten free menu and just was really friendly and helpful. She even told me that it would be better to get the hash browns because the potatoes are done in the same place as an item with gluten, whereas the hash browns are not. Overall great homey atmosphere and great gluten free options. Had the gluten-free waffles there and they were some of the best waffles I’ve ever had.
I have gone here a few times and have had wonderful experiences each time. However please take note the last two times, which were during Covid, I got contaminated and have massive typical gluten issues. The owner is amazing and the whole family works there. They typically are very good however I wonder if Covid caused some lax a daisy overviews?
Ordered the eighteen wheeler and it was fantastic! Some things on their menu that is GF:
Waffle
Pancakes
French Toast
BLT
I got french toast, scrambled eggs, turkey sausage, orange juice and potatoes. Would definitely be back! Very well done.
Staff was knowledgeable and the chef and owner both came out to ensure everything was safe. No menu yet but were very careful and ensured I had no problems!
The food was good. I wasn’t sick after. I do have one complaint. It’s interesting that they have a gluten-free menu but do not serve the pancakes and waffles with gluten-free syrup. I ordered a waffle and was given a pre-packed cup of syrup that was not gluten-free. When I brought this to the attention of the wait staff I was told that the syrup that I was served was in fact gluten-free, it was not. All I had to do was quickly Google it to see the ingredients. Luckily I trusted my gut and didn’t use it, but this is pretty neglectful and dangerous to offer as a gluten-free option when it’s clearly not.
