I’ve always enjoyed Mendocino Farm’s food even before Celiac disease. It’s so fresh and full of flavor. They carefully noted that I had an allergy. Each meal came in a separate bag. One of my favorite stops for a quick AND healthy meal.

It's a nice place and the staff try their best to accommodate but NOT SAFE FOR CELIACS.

super good gluten free bread for yummy sandwiches and plenty of salad options. Bustling eatery in a cute location. Recommended if you want to feel like a normal sandwich eater. :)
very disappointed, it is not gluten-free, they share all equipment with gluten containing foods.
One of the most delicious sandwiches I've ever eaten and creative flavorful salads. I ordered the Steak BLT sandwich and the Quinoa Beet salad. Both items were outstanding. I'll come back many times. They have many clearly marked GF items on menu and offer very good GF bread for the sandwiches. If you let them know you have celiac or an allergy, they handle your food with care and make it separately in GF zone.
I’m always skeptical about getting a sandwich, but the staff here are amazing. They take pride in being trained to have safe practices and made me feel confident that my sandwich would be safe for me to eat. Had the half club with the kale and apple salad and it was delicious. My mother in law was jealous that my sandwich looked better than her regular club. Will be going back to try more menu items very soon. Well done Mendocino Farms!

They have gluten-free options marked on the menu. Good service. You have to be wily as it appears there may be issues with cross-contamination. I got a salad but I think I should have asked for no nuts in the salad. I was slightly glutenated. (Sometimes places get nuts in bulk that have been processed with wheat and I wonder if that's how I got some gluten.)

Had the gluten free chicken pesto sandwich. So good! They did ask if it was an allergy. I ordered online so I did not see the prep area. Was a delicious sandwich and I did not get sick.

Cannot recommended this place enough! Went here twice in the 2 days I was in San Jose. 3 of the people I was with (including myself) have celiac and are very sensitive to cross contamination, none of us got sick and the sandwiches were delicious. The farm club and the chimmichuri steak and bacon were hands down our favorites but the chicken pesto caprese and prosciutto &chicken were also delicious. The staff was knowledgeable and marked the order as an allergy. The gf bread was a seeded bread and a normal size! I wish they had these in MA I would go all the time. They also had reasonably priced wine on tap that was great!

They have the option for gluten free bread as well as salads. They only have one side that is gluten free. When ordering gf they ask is a preference or an allergy which is super nice
