I've eaten here many times and had no issues. The management has a separate fryer and the fish and chips are great.

The halibut fish and chips were amazing. The whole family enjoyed the gluten free batter on the fish and onion rings. What a surprise to have GF gravy on poutine. Everything was fried in a separate fryer and tasted great! They even had GF beer for dad. Great service too!

Amazing gluten free fish and chips and awesome poutine! Not usually a fan of fried onion rings but these guys rocked it! Highly recommended.
Amazing gluten free fish and chips! No reaction after eating either.

Incredible! Love that I can come here with non GF friends and everybody can still have something they enjoy without sacrifice. Will definitely go back ASAP.
Great food and amazing atmosphere. Waiter was super helpful and knowledgeable about gluten free snackaroos ☺ No reaction

I am a fish & chips fiend, when I read the reviews for this place I was so excited to try it! The gluten-free batter was amazing, everything was absolutely delicious. However I did manage to consume gluten, as I had tried my boyfriends maple-soy brussels sprouts! They were unreal, but I am assuming they were made with regular soy and not the gf kind! Woke up with a rash this morning. This was my foolish mistake for not clarifying with the waiter. Just a heads up to anyone wanting to order them! I will 100% be going back!

A great choice for my celiac daughter and myself. Safe fish and chips and onion rings! The deep fried "oreos" were an unexpexted delight.
YOU MUST EAT HERE!
Everything is gluten free except the burrito due to it being a flour tortilla. They are knowledgeable about celiacs and great to avoid cross contamination from the burrito.
Food was absolutely incredible! I had the crispy buffalo cauliflower taco and poutine. My husband had the oysters and the seared yellowfin tostada. Absolutely delicious. 5 stars doesn’t do it justice!

This place was great!!! My partner is severely gluten intolerant with coeliacs and cannot rusk any exposure to gluten. In calling this place ahead of time, they said the have separate fryers for both fish and fries. Also, they have white spirit vinegar and only melt vinegar on the table if you need it. When on site I questioned anything like the vinegar used in the coleslaw or the other battered options, the server was on it to reassure without judgment to eye-rolls. The guy with the dark beard and sleeve tattoos appears quite blasé about everything but assured us that they kept everything separate and clear and are 99% sure all would be fine...my partner was confident - He would go on to enjoyed himself immensely. The only reason why I don’t mark this with five stars is because it’s got a burrito dish and standard wheat flour available. Thank you for all your help and service. Great place with damn good wine...which is hard to find in a fry-up place.

The whole family enjoys eating here! Celiac friendly for the one person with Celiac but we all love the gluten free fish batter, and the poutine! Maria

This restaurant was great! They told me they can do 95% of the menu gluten free (they just can’t do the burritos.). They have a dedicated fryer and the food is delicious!!! They noted that we are Celiac. We had the Fried calamari, French fries, Nova Scotia crab cakes (some of the best I’ve ever had!), and the Seafood Tacos (breaded halibut, shrimp and calamari.) The breading is fantastic as are the accompanying sauces and dips.

We have been here twice and the fish and chips are great. Service was great!

I am still here and couldn’t wait to write a review! I had the fried halibut, crab cakes, onion rings, and fried oreos. Some of the BEST food and service I’ve ever had. Also- three different kinds of cider plus wine, GF beer, etc. I absolutely LOVE this place. Reasonable prices and plenty of options!

This is a good go to when you want to indulge. They take good care with celiac orders and have GF beer available.

Great fish and chips, including gluten-free options in a safe, dedicated fryer for the Celiac in our group!! Fish was tender. Various options for fries, onion rings, and tartar sauces. Many other menu items too. Good experience. Nice cozy casual atmosphere. Bathrooms were a little grungy, which accounts for the 1 missing star. There are 2 desserts on the menu, one of which is gluten-free: 3 deep-fried Glutino "Oreo" cookies with ice cream. (Not being Celiac myself, I tried the deep fried Mars bar, and admittedly, it tasted a bit fishy). Service was a tiny bit slow, but friendly.

I was glutened and treated badly when sharing that with the company. So unsafe. Their workers don’t care about contamination and gave me a non gf meal. NOT SAFE!!!!

Fantastic meal here with no CC issues and knowledgeable staff. I had fish and onion rings - the only place I know of to find them in the city. (Nice light batter) Also had some of the calamari - delicious and perfect texture. Tried some of the sweet potato fries as well. 3 of us at table had to eat gfree and 3 did not and no problems with our meals. Servers were beyond lovely and helpful. Also note restaurant carries 2 types of Glutenberg , a great Canadian gluten-free beer. So appreciate this as most places carry gluten-removed and do not realize the difference and safety issues. Great vibe inside. Highly recommend this gem of a restaurant!

Love be this place. Fish and chips are amazing. Staff is really knowledgeable and they maintain separate fryers for GF food. You can even get dessert and a pretty good beer!

Great fish and fries
Best gluten free breaded fish I have had in Canada. Light and crispy batter and perfectly cooked fish. All sides and dipping sauces available gluten free. I will definitely be back.

They've upped their game on cross-contamination avoidance...chef Gus knew all about Celiac disease, kept me safe, made me fish and chips and a crab cake (haven't eaten a food fish & chips in years because of this lousy, lousy disease) and treated us like royalty. So delicious, made to order, no sickness.

The best fish and chips joint! The fries are amazing- so are the crab cakes and poutines. Very cool atmosphere and the service is awesome.

My family and I have been there twice. The first time my sister and niece (both of whom have celiac) got to enjoy a gluten free meal with minimum cross contamination symptoms. The second time however, they both got really sick. 8 of us ate there and we all ordered the gluten free meals as to limit cross contamination. However we believe we were served gluten meals because the second we got home both my sister and niece got really sick and threw up everything. Out of 8 of us, the two with celiac got really sick. Just make sure when you go to emphasize the "gluten free" part

THE BEST GLUTEN FREE FISH AND CHIPS. PERIOD.
This place was AMAZING! The people here knew what a gluten allergy was and the precautions needed to take place to prevent cross-contamination.. The GF fried fish and onion rings were the best Gluten-Free I've ever had, so was the GF beer! Should definitely try this place! Service was on point and the atmosphere is great! Love love love this place!
Best fish and chips ever!!! A must visit if you're in Toronto. Delicious and never had a reaction.

Decent price and good food Love the onion rings My husband can't tell the difference between my gluten free and his wheat filled I enjoy coming here for a nice treat

it's a nice little spot. I ordered the fish and chips with sweet potato fries and it was really good. Not too greasy like a lot of places and I was surprised at their g.f beer options. some I've never even heard of. The poutin is also g.f. will have to try that next time
The staff was very knowledgeable, when I asked if there would any cross contamination, the waiter advised me there wouldn't be. With a small kitchen up front, I should have know the probability of cross contamination would be high.. The staff was great the food was very good, but I did get glutened :(
Yes
Very greasy food. Wqs once accide tally given a wheat bun. They apologized but I watched them put the same burger on a second bun. When I called management the next day they were defensive not apologetic.

Awesome fish and chips. We also tried the crab cake which was tasty. Local GF beer (Top Hat) went well with gluten free meal. We would come back. It is a cozy little place off the beaten path.
