We have really enjoyed Postino. They are very careful and had to remake one meal (caught by the manager before it made it to us). Our kids really like the grilled cheese and we like the panini’s, salads and soups.
Our kids are celiac but not very symptomatic so I won’t rate for safety.
All the bruchettas were GF on GF bread and only the meatballs and mushroom fondue in the starters (at the time of this post, you’ll want to confirm) had gluten that couldn’t be removed. Separate cooking area for GF bread upon request. Writing this a day after we went and didn’t feel sick at all!
I threw a huge party here for 50 guests. They made sure my bruschetta was safe and kept separate. I’ve only had wine and appetizers here but loved the food and experience. They do have a shared waiter experience, so you’ll need to let multiple people know about having celiac and the need to keep everything gf.
Came here for a wine night expecting not to eat anything and was pleasantly surprised! We got a bruschetta board and they told me the gf bread was toasted separately, they change gloves, and they served my portion on a separate plate than the regular bread my friends were eating. I didn’t ask about other things on the menu but we really enjoyed the board! All spreads were gf and the bread was definitely better than most. The manager came out and served mine. I felt safe eating here and didn’t get sick - would recommend!
Waitress asked about allergies when getting drink order. Said all GF dishes were prepared separately. Other staff stopped by to verify we were okay with an ingredient swap (cold capers instead of fried) to make the salmon bruschetta GF. I ordered mine with GF bread so my celiac daughter and I could share and I thought the bread was great. No Gf dessert offerings. Friendly, helpful staff.
The menu is not marked but the server was able to talk to us about what could be made gluten free - almost all their bruschetta and paninis could be (separate panini press for gluten free bread). They do have a shared fryer so nothing from the fryer. I got some of the bruschetta and they were all delicious! Gluten free bread was pretty good. Also had the Brussels and kale salad which was delicious. I never felt sick and woke up feeling fine. There’s sadly no gluten free dessert but luckily Jenni’s ice cream is across the street! I’d definitely eat here again.
