My husband and I go here all the time! One of our favorite places for date night. They are really good with allergies and can look up the allergies on any menu item if you ask. They have GF bread available for any of their sandwiches/paninis, salads, and bruschettas. Sometimes they have to modify a bruschetta for you to be able to eat it (e.g. can't have the fried capers on the smoked salmon), but they are happy to. The staff has always been knowledgeable and friendly. The prices are reasonable and the gluten-eating husband loves it too!
My cousin who also has Celiac visited this restaurant and gave me a big thumbs up to try it. We visited for the first time 2 days later and had such a lovely experience! If you're tired of having only a handful of options to choose from on menus (grilled chicken anyone?), this will be a refreshing change for you. I did one of the boards where you choose a bread (they have gluten free, and it's amazing) with 4 different spreads. Loads of spread choices, and they all sounded great. I enjoyed every bit of my food and got no cross contamination. Just make sure to mention it to your server so they can be sure clean gloves, etc. are used to minimize cross contam. Will definitely be back to this place!
I was so excited to get a gluten free flat bread! You got to pick 4 different kinds. So exciting and delicious! My husband (not GF) enjoyed a sandwich and a beer for lunch.
They have gluten free bread and say they take precautions. I asked a lot of questions, and I was hungry enough to make decisions I normally wouldn’t. Did not get gluten sick. I had pesto bruschetta and a salad. I asked for no dressing and it came dressed which made me concerned about how seriously they were taking celiac, and I’m having symptoms from other allergies I think.
I am new and I am still learning what my body can handle and what not. So this is just my experience. We had the roasted potatoes with aeoli on the side.
For dinner I had the skewers. And then I had the Brussels sprout salad. Those options are gluten free.
Because I also have a garlic sensitivity that I am learning about.
At first I was worried about cross contact because I did get sick after eating here. But I think it was the garlic in the salad and the skewers. And so I don’t want to cross this place out!
I LOVE postino and I will be back because I want to see how I can make it work!! I think getting the dressing on the side would have helped so I ate less of the dressing.
I really liked how accommodating they were. They were incredible and I will be back!
