They have gluten free bread and say they take precautions. I asked a lot of questions, and I was hungry enough to make decisions I normally wouldn’t. Did not get gluten sick. I had pesto bruschetta and a salad. I asked for no dressing and it came dressed which made me concerned about how seriously they were taking celiac, and I’m having symptoms from other allergies I think.
Have a gluten free bread option for their bruschettas and paninis. Both were great. They also said they took all precautions to avoid cross contact (there is always a risk so it depends on your comfort level). I got the vegetarian panini w/GF bread (it was a regular size sandwich!!) and asked them not to toast it to avoid cc and it was delicious (there really aren’t too many gluten free sandwich options in Atlanta). Bruschetta was also amazing although the GF bread slices were small as to be expected. There are also a handful of appetizers and salad options too. The sandwich was served with a side salad or chips (I was told chips has risk of cross contact so I didn’t get that)
I am new and I am still learning what my body can handle and what not. So this is just my experience. We had the roasted potatoes with aeoli on the side.
For dinner I had the skewers. And then I had the Brussels sprout salad. Those options are gluten free.
Because I also have a garlic sensitivity that I am learning about.
At first I was worried about cross contact because I did get sick after eating here. But I think it was the garlic in the salad and the skewers. And so I don’t want to cross this place out!
I LOVE postino and I will be back because I want to see how I can make it work!! I think getting the dressing on the side would have helped so I ate less of the dressing.
I really liked how accommodating they were. They were incredible and I will be back!
