Food was amazing, service was amazing, and atmosphere was amazing! Plus, they were very accomplished for my celiac partner! The manager brought out his food, explained the steps taken to ensure no cross-contamination, and made sure to point out my dish (which had breadcrumbs) was not gluten-free.
Guys, if you are gluten free in the Atlanta area, you must try the panini and bruschetta boards at Postino!!!
The food is delicious, and our server was careful to note the things that are and are not cross-contamination risks on the menu.
They also have some of my favorite ciders on the menu (Shacksbury cider is amazing if you like a dry cider)!
Service was great, dog-friendly patio, totally reasonable prices, excellent ambiance, validated parking. Go eat here!!!
I have eaten here twice in the past month and have not gotten sick. The waitresses I got were very knowledgeable and great. I got the chicken and mozzarella both times with a side salad and they have been amazing! They have an allergen menu online that tells you everything you can have, I normally just have this pulled up before I go in. They do not have a separate fryer, so anything fried is not safe. They cleaned off the work area for me after I asked, and told me they used separate tools. I had to be specific with them, but each waiter I have gotten knew exactly what I was talking about and was very accommodating. I will definitely be going again soon!!
The food and environment at Postino is wonderful. They have a very tasty gluten free bread baked just for them. Talking to our server, he claimed that all allergies are taken very seriously and that they sanitize and have a designated prep area in the kitchen for those. He seemed very knowledgeable and didn’t have to explain what celiac disease was. Felt safe dinning there. They serve very good salads, bruschetta and paninis.
I got the bruschetta- several kinds and the roast beef sandwich that I split with my sister. All gluten free. The taste was good but it was not marked and I'm feeling pretty sick afterwards. I believe I was glutened despite asking all the right questions about safety. The manager barely knew what gluten was but she was very friendly and tried to help. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t call this a safe place for someone with celiac disease.
