Yummy GF caprese panini! The bread was hot and crispy, and had great texture. The waiter assured me the kitchen had safe practices, and also went and told the chef himself to be sure. Great option in Little Italy!
My paini tasted great and the bruschetta was truly impressive. I thought bruschetta was always tomato and cheese on bread, but at this place they have like a dozen styles of bruschetta toppings to choose from, and they offer a sampler option where you can pick four. Highly recommended.
The wait staff was very accommodating and familiar with cross contact. They explained that virtually everything on their menu can be adapted to be gluten free.
Service was fast, and they have plentiful outdoor seating with infrared heaters.

10/10 recommend! The GF options were abundant and the staff were very knowledgeable about options that had potential cross-contamination. The bruschetta options were AMAZING! And the GF bread was one of the best I’ve had in a restaurant. Soft, fluffy, great taste, and no falling apart! I was eating with family who are not GF, and even they said they couldn’t taste a difference in the breads. Definitely check it out!
I ordered takeout from here after I had been glutened earlier in the week. I live in Phoenix and knew Postino is really good with celiac-safe food. I got half a panini and half a salad with GF bread and it was tasty and safe! No issues after. I try to be really careful after I've been glutened, so I really appreciate that there's a Postino in San Diego now! Highly recommend!
Had the west coaster panini on GF bread, the romaine salad, and a cucumber lemonade and they were all very good!

The quality of food was excellent and their attention to detail regarding cross contamination and gluten free preparation was superior. Highly recommend and our server, Austin, was fantastic
They have gluten free bread and say they take precautions. I asked a lot of questions, and I was hungry enough to make decisions I normally wouldn’t. Did not get gluten sick. I had pesto bruschetta and a salad. I asked for no dressing and it came dressed which made me concerned about how seriously they were taking celiac, and I’m having symptoms from other allergies I think.
Their bruschetta, boards, and paninis can all be made GF. We had the bruschetta board on GF bread and the Brussels salad with shrimp. It was great. It’s a new restaurant so service was a bit slow, but they were very nice and very familiar with celiac.
