Be careful about this place!
Every single time I had come here in the past, I was told the crepes were the safest option for me to order on the menu (from a cross contamination perspective). The last time I went here, I had a new server tell me that my usual crepe order actually contained gluten in the cream!!! He actually went into the kitchen and double checked the ingredients. He said he had told the restaurant to take it off the menu because it’s not gluten free but it hasn’t happened yet and the other servers don’t get it.
He also told me that there are two fryers and they have one for gluten free and the other for non gluten free on weekends and and during the week they use one fryer for “everything”.. not sure how extensively they clean these or if all the staff remembers which fryer is which on week days vs weekends..
I don’t feel very safe coming back here.

They have alot of items in the menu marke "GS" for gluten sensitive. They don't say that they're perfect and that there can be no cross contamination which is fine and meaby more honest than other places. TURKEYYY BACCCONNNN 🥰🥰
Did not react whatsoever after eating there , food and service was great.

I went here after the raving reviews. When I tried to order a skillet, the server said she wanted to just double check the potatoes. Came back and said that the kitchen could not guarantee they were gluten free as "maybe someone new would have cooked the fried chicken in there".
A "gluten-free" server was sent over to me and said I could have the potatoes without the coating. When I mentioned about the cross contamination from the fryer and chicken she said that she hadn't thought about that.
Both times the crepes were pushed, which are gluten free, but not what I wanted. When they arrived they were accompanied by the potatoes I can't have.

I enjoyed a great gluten free omelette today for breakfast. Server Jeremy was very knowledgeable and confirmed there were great protocols in the kitchen, including a separate fryer for breakfast potatoes. If you let them know they will cook potatoes in designated fryer without the special seasoning (which has gluten). Tons of menu items to select from including crepes!

Open and spacious restaurant with lots of GF options! I had a bacon/mushroom crepe with scrambled egg on top. The server, Jamie, was awesome! He did warn there's no guarantee against cross-contamination as it's not a dedicated GF kitchen. I could not finish my food, it was so filling!

Had a delicious eggs benny on gf toast this morning and it was delicious. They are knowledgeable about celiac disease and cross-contamination. There are many options: gf bread with any breakfast, eggs benny, and all crepe batter is gf. Pancakes are not gf.

I really enjoy eating at the Pür & Simple restaurants. Staff is always very knowledgeable about gluten-free. They are clear about being gluten sensitive as there may be cross contamination in the kitchen. I had the Angus Benedict on gluten-free bread instead of the English muffin. Delicious!

Horrible experience. Staff is not knowledgable about cross-contamination & when speaking to the manager who disclosed she also had celiac disease said she personally would never eat there due to the state of the kitchen.
Waitress told me they had potato only friers & toasted bread separately. Not the case - anything in the fryer is fried with breading & 1 toaster for everything.
For safety it was recommended to only eat the eggs and fruit as everything else was to be in high cc with gluten. Disappointing as they have menu items labelled gluten-free & i’d hope for the price had better food handling in place especially for being marketed as a allergen/food conscious business.
Manager was very condescending and rude letting me know that people like me need to advocate for themselves better. Humiliating experience & from what I was told will never go back.

The Crepes! My kids visit this chain restaurant for the crepes (GS on the menu). A variety of breakfast options on the menu, consistent across the country. Easy, safe, spacious.

I had the avocado toast. Really decent portion sized. Was planning to have the breakfast potatoes but the server told me straight away there was no dedicated GF fryer and it would be cross contamination risk. Got a big bowl of fruit instead

As a celiac, I still love my crepes. I was shocked to find out that all of Pur and Simple’s crepes are made with gluten free batter. I specifically love their “Oh La La” crepe. However, cross contamination can still occur as there are a lot of gluten filled foods at this breakfast restaurant. There also isn’t a broad variety of gluten free substitutions. I believe the crepe is the only one but it is really good so I recommend trying it!
