They are very careful and well trained in gf.
This is my go to place for gluten free burgers and fries! they have a seperate frier and the most amazing gluten free buns. staff is always caring and understanding too! I have never gotten sick here.
I can't say whether it's celiac friendly, but I LOVE Red Robin (both Maple Rd and Quaker Crossing locations) for the fact that I never have to worry about my food with them. All the servers and staff are well-trained and the only time I have ever had issues is when calling in a to-go order. The receipt prints off the gluten free bun just fine, but the way it specifies no cheese is bizarre so the kitchen usually accidentally cheeses me and has to make it again. Someone told us to ask them to box everything up separately - the burger patty, the bun, and the toppings, so that even if they accidentally include the cheese, it doesn't ruin your whole burger. If your server doesn't confirm, make sure your fries don't come with the salt on them. The seasoning the kitchen uses is not GF but most servers know that. You can use the sea salt on the table then. I've never had anyone give me attitude about bringing me the iPad with the allergen-customizer on it, so I guess it just depends who you get. But I've always had good experiences!
As always at Red Robin, a great experience. The server even asked the kitchen staff to make my gluten free fries extra crispy, and they were. :) I'm super grateful for Red Robin!
Lots to choose from and waitress was very knowledgeable. One of my favorite places
50-50 chance of getting sick here. Love the food, fries are always delicious- but the stomach issues start before I even get out of the restaurant about half the time. I guess I keep going back because I like the illusion of it being truly gluten free. Or maybe I'm just a gambler.
My daughter and I have celiac. She got sick before we left the restaurant and I got sick on the way home. Manager was nice when I called but I've never heard anything good about their gf food and wouldn't risk it again.
Found a deliberately placed fried onion on my burger. Definitely not there by accident. Told the staff about it, and they took care of it and were super nice about it, but told me that it was the second time that it has happened today. I always have some sort of issue when I come here, and now I know why. The cook staff need to be fired. BE CAREFUL FOR THOSE OF YOU WITH CELIAC. This only fuels my distrust for going to any restaurants.
I gave them three stars because the food was ok. Service was terrible and they no longer have a gluten free menu unless you use your smartphone. When I told them my phone didn't work well in the restaurant them manager brought me a iPad along with an attitude. I will not be going back. It should not be this hard to place an order.
Gf buns and dedicated deep friers for French fries!
Excellent gluten free rolls and fried foods are fried in separate oil than foods containing gluten
The GF bun is very good--soft and tasty.
very knowledgeable and nice. separate menu. noe have GF buns for burgers too!
This place has great service, call out allergies and are really accommodating. They have GF buns and dedicated fryer for clean FF:s... Love ability to get FF! Enjoy!
The gluten free bun was soft and had a good texture. The fries were made in a dedicated fryer. The receipt also was clearly marked of the allergy.
Every time I go...I love it!!! Such great food and very accommodating!
traveling through the area today, and pulled up my trusty FMGF app. and this is the first place that came up. Got seated very quickly, the waiter came over and I told him that i had celiac and he said ok, well this is what we can do..... they have a separate cooking area for allergies, which put me at ease. I ordered simple and just got a grilled chicken sandwich on a gluten free bun. Awsome. Really enjoyed it, my wife got some buffalo chicken wrap that she really liked as well ( not GF ) No reactions at all for me, im pretty sensitive. This guys did great, i'm really happy with their service and attention to detail. wish they were closer, but i do travel that area frequently so will absolutly make them my goto place. thank you Just a quick update, So I have gone here multiple times and everysingle time they take great care of me. Mention Celiac and every server was familiar with what to do and what I can order. Love this place. Thank you Red Robin for keeping me safe ...
They serve gluten free buns and have a dedicated fryer. The burgers are marked with a gluten free tag and are specifically brought to the table by the manager. Plus the server has come back to the table to warn us when I unknowingly order something with gluten, like the campfire sauce, or blue cheese crumbles. This is one of our favorite burger spots.
Enjoyed a cheeseburger and fries- felt full but not sick. Yum.
Celiac Disease has made me really depressed about not being able to eat most of the things that I like. My friend and I went to Red Robin and I was very happy to see that they actually care about people who have food sensitivity. The gluten free menu has a good selection of options for people like me.. The burger was really good and the gluten free bun was pretty good too.. Thank you Red Robin.
They don't have a separate menu, instead you get an iPad and choose the allergen you need to avoid. I chose "gluten" and it listed safe menu items and regular menu items that need to be altered. For example, I chose a chicken sandwich, no bun, and sweet potato fries. Lots of options and they have a dedicated fryer! Just ask!
I love the fact that they have Gluten Free buns & a dedicated fryer for GF fries!!! Been eating here since I was diagnosed in March 2009, NEVER had one issue being sick & I am VERY sensitive! MUST TRY!!! Chik Fil A is the only other reasonably priced place in town w GF fries!!!!!
I never had any issues with the buns, but the new lettuce wrap option is the best! Most of the time it's a manager that handles my GF food and I know that their buns come wrapped. Sometimes you just want a burger with no fuss, and Red Robin is the best for that.
GF buns and fries (ask for no seasoning)
We had stopped going to Red Robin after my daughter and wife's diagnoses. On holiday, we stopped in Medford (wanted to see Crater Lake) and the limited options left us at Red Robin. Prior to celiac, we enjoyed RR often, but never felt that the GF options were worth the price. So we went in, based on reviews here. The "menu" is still ipad-based and difficult to use. The big problem was the staff attitude. We felt that they did not take celiac seriously and treated us as if we were annoying troublemakers (we're not.) Based on this experience, we won't be going back to any Red Robin restaurant.
Outstanding service and server took my gluten free needs very seriously. Got the Red Robin burger w/cheddar and no salt fries on GF bun. Also ate the honey mustard poppyseed dipping (salad dressing) sauce and it was all delicious. Didn't get sick. Definitely recommend.
GREAT experience here! Our server, Savannah, was VERY knowledgeable and made sure our order came out correctly and my order was gf. I highly recommend her!! The gf fries take longer because they're not mass produced. You can get the French onion soup gf. SO good!!
I have Celiac and was very clear about it to the waiter. He assured me they had a dedicated fryer for fries and that they had gluten free buns as well. I ordered the chili chili burger and fries and was SOOOO sick afterwards. DO NOT Eat there if you are Celiac, they do not have something right and are advertising gluten free when it obviously IS NOT!!
Haven't eaten at a Red Robin since I learned I was a Celiac, but saw the reviews of others and decided to take a chance. They have a tablet that helps you select from a group of allergen options and as you drill down into the specific items it provides details on things to consider when you order. They have a dedicated fryer for french fries, but do warn or possible cross contamination. I had a burger (no bun or lettuce) and Chili Chile Cheese Fries. Those were great. I had expected a burger with better flavor, but it was okay. Overall, not the best meal I've had, but I'll visit the Red Robin near me when the urge for some fries overcomes me.
Had a great experience here the staff really cared and took gluten allergies and Celiac very serious. Our server was wonderful she made sure everything was perfect. She repeated the order of back several times and even had the kitchen manager come over and talk to us. The kitchen manager herself prepaired the food. She's very familiar with allergies and took everything very seriously and made it safe. They have a whole allergy kit that use when they prepare food. Best Red Robin experience I have ever had! ask for your server to be Lisa when you go in She is highly trained and allergies and has been doing this for 15 years
Been here multiple times and haven't gotten sick once. I always state that I have a gluten allergy and ask them not to toast the buns. Also ask for the fries to be cooked in the dedicated fryer.
After eating there this evening, my husband became very sick!! It was more than just a little cross contamination! We've eaten there before with no issue! We explain everything the same way every time we go anywhere- lack of communication with kitchen staff from waitress or what we're not sure- Celiacs Beware!!!!
