After reading the reviews for this establishment, I was too scared to eat. I have celiac disease, so I asked about the chips and a gf fryer and was lied too by my server. Be careful if you eat here. Not a celiac safe establishment. I ended up getting the guacamole that was made table side with veggie chips. You can’t mess that up. Not much of a dinner, but I do feel OK leaving and not starving. Watch out for a server by the name of Justin. He was our server and said that not everyone that comes in is actually gluten-free and says they’re gluten-free. I’ll definitely call his manager later tonight.. horrible. Stay away !!

So good we went back two days in a row. They definitely know how to navigate celiac. The chips are made in a separate fryer and are GF! Everything was delicious.

SoCal transplants on the East Coast. Really wanted some good Tex Mex style food. While visiting Ft. Lauderdale we decided to check Rocco’s out. We weren’t disappointed!
4 of us dined in. Two of us shared a Molcahete, the other two each ordered separate dishes. We also shared two apps and a pitcher of delicious Rita’s.
Our server was incredible attentive, made sure all dishes were safe and GF. Even checked some ingredients for us to be extra clear.
Foood was great, atmosphere was great, drinks were great. All dishes were safe!
We had an amazing time and would definitely go back!

We went for dinner, it's a nice restaurant, they do know about gluten free and the menu is marked. Not a huge menu, which is odd for a Mexican food place, so only a few items available gluten free. The chips are fried separately, which is awesome and my favorite! I had the carnitas street tacos and they were okay, not the best that I've had. It was a good portion size, just not super impressed with the taste, but it was okay. It's great that they can provide gluten free so all in all, not a bad place.

Separate fryer for corn nachos, great Mexican food, probably some of the best we’ve had in Fort Lauderdale.

A must if in Fort Lauderdale! We sat at the bar and bartender was very helpful! Reassured me that the chips were in a dedicated fryer upstairs! I had chips + guac and the grilled wings along with a pitcher of mango margarita! Everything was delicious and I felt great afterwards! GF items marked on menu

Wait staff seemed knowledgeable and assured us of safety. Unfortunately my daughter was sick immediately with severe stomach pains and vomiting. She had chips, salsa, guacamole and quesadillas on corn tortillas. We were told the chips were made in a separate fryer and the quesadillas would be cooked in a separate space on the grill. Please be careful. Not celiac safe.

Have gone here twice while on vacation. Two separate trips. First time was scary and second time still not good
This place is really cool. Great atmosphere. But the staffing isn’t great. First time I went, I told the waitress before ordering obviously about my allergy & asked for suggestions. She wasn’t helpful but they do have Gf marked on the menu. Ordered a variety of tacos and rice & beans.
Order took forever. Then.. When the order came out, the tacos were on flour tortillas! The manager I think brought them out and so I grabbed him again and asked what kind of tortilla it was, and he ensured it was flour. Ugh. I told him my allergy and he went to repeats another plate for me.
I then told the waitress who finally came back to the table, she had no care in the world.
Second time a few days ago I ordered a GF item ans again was clear about the allergy. When I got my order, it was in fact gf but damn they burnt the pork so badly it was like completely black and dry.
I did not get a reaction but I will not be going back for sure.

Had an amazing experience here, my server was extremely knowledgeable about Celiac and reassured me when my dish arrived that it was safe. Lots of GF options and if you have Celiac or an allergy the head chef will make your meal separate! Ate the chicken and steak tacos and the chips (fried in dedicated fryer!!)

The gluten free items are clearly marked on the menu. The manager sat us and I asked him right away about the gluten free options. He was extremely knowledgeable. The chips are made in a separate fryer. The chips come seasoned or unseasoned and the seasoning is made in a facility that processes wheat ingredients. I was so suprised with his knowledge. I was told they informed the waitstaff and the chef. I got the traditional carnitas tacos which were came on a handmade corn tortilla. We also got the guacamole as an appetizer. Definately recommend if you have Celiac disease or a gluten allergy.

Great options! The chips are in a dedicated fryer and they’re delicious! I’ve heard the guacamole is awesome, but we didn’t try. Everything is labeled and the waiter was great answering my questions.

The food here is soooo good. They were able to accommodate my husband’s gluten and dairy sensitivities with multiple options. They have options marked on the menu and the very knowledgeable waiter pointed out other menu items they could make GF. The gave homemade GF corn tortillas and the can use those to make a number if menu items GF that aren’t listed that way in the menu. Their chips are GF and cooked in a dedicated fryer.

I give an A for effort, but an F on follow through. Called ahead, gave proper intro to celiac and then was served a flour tortilla. Way to pricey to not be able to trust. I would pay anything for compliance.
Corn tortilla was delicious and safe (Nima tested). Only item tried and tested.

When I asked about what would be safest for a celiac for GF options, the waitress went to check with the cook staff and came back and was willing to make the Enchiladas as one beef and one chicken since I couldn't decide. The manager brought my food out, with it labeled as GF with a sticker throughout the prep because she said, "we take allergies very seriously here". She came back to check in to make sure everything tasted right. Highly recommend, no issues with cross-contamination and a great price for the quality of food!

Too expensive and high risk for cross contamination. Not the best.
Knowledgeable staff with strong periodicals in place. good food.

I asked about the chips and salsa and they said it was gluten free , fried in a different frier. Well I ordered it, ate it and got super sick and had to leave without eating the dinner. Definitely had gluten or was cross contaminated.
I told the waitress I was feeling very sick and asked for my bill and she took her sweet time bringing it back.
I will not eat there again.

Amazing service, great atmosphere.. no issues, delicious food..
Very celiac friendly. The food was amazing! Great place to hangout and chill! The wait staff very friendly and knowledgeable on Gluten free and celiac.
Excellent Service and Food! The waiter was awesome at explaining what was and wasn't gluten free. He even went and asked the chef multiple times on stuff he didn't know was gluten free or not. I did not get sick, and I have a severe Gluten Allergy.
Chips are made in a dedicated fry awesome with salsa and guacamole! I had a taco with a corn tortilla ! It was great!! Highly recommended!
The food was fair and the drinks are expensive.

Just a beautiful restaurant, the Guacamole dip made fresh at your table is a must, tacos yum, Love it!

I am gluten and dairy intolerant. I asked for the tacos without cheese and they put cheese on it. When I asked if they could prepare it again they brought out the same tacos that had been "brushed off" and you could still see pieces of cheese in it. I would not recommend this restaurant.

WOW what a Fantastic Restaurant! Not only was the food Great But the service was impeccable . From the fresh guacamole to to the awesome Molcajetes dish (similar to Fajitas) Atmosphere was pleasant. Employees must love their job very knowledgeable and helpful.

The food is great. I'd love to see a dedicated gluten free menu along with official statements on cross contamination policies. After speaking with the manager and our waiter I felt comfortable enough to eat here and did not have a celiac reaction to the food. The fryers for the chips are dedicated. Great place that I would love to see engage the gluten free community a bit more.
Can't go wrong with Rocco's! Always delicious and guac is a must! Super busy but sometimes you get lucky and can find a few seats at the bar..well worth the wait! They don't have a gluten free menu but server can tell you everything you can have
There is no gluten free menu but they have many options. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The chips and guacamole were delicious. The atmosphere was fun I would highly recommend this restaurant.
