Very good! Knowledgeable staff and celiac safe. The braised short ribs were nothing short of amazing and the espresso creme brûlée was phenomenal. Nice atmosphere and you can tell staff takes food allergies very seriously and with care.

Amazing!! They do not have a GF menu, however the staff was extremely knowledgable and basically made me a custom meal. I ordered the steamed salmon. They cooked it with GF seasonings and then brought me two different GF sauces for me to use. They also brought me rice and some vegetables. It was very yummy. My family is not gluten free and enjoyed their meals as well. For dessert they had banana fudge ice cream that was GF. They do have a flour-less chocolate soufflé - however the chocolate used has trace amounts of gluten. Amazing atmosphere. Only negative I have is that it was a bit slow with the service, but not frustratingly so.
amazing food. no dedicated menu but the server was very knowledgeable. several gf options. great service.

it was okay. server was knowledgeable about gf food was salty. although the steak was large and juicy. I got the half of chicken.
Servers were very knowledgable about GF and cross contamination. Food was great! The fish was fresh served with rice and veggies excellent sauce. it is expensive $75 for 2 meals, 1 dessert, 1 coffee and water. Meals don't come with salads.

Great food and good staff., however I think the SF restaurant is better and more creative with its menu. Plan to spend about $60/ person.
Ate here twice while in Kauai recently. The first time at the restaurant, and the second time at the bar.
Excellent food. Staff friendly and work hard to ensure you have a wonderful meal. However, they did not have a gluten free menu when I was there, but the employees carry list of GF items they offer, and can make helpful recommendations.
Very nice wine selection.
Love Roy's you have many excellent choices
We had a wonderful experience. It’s definitely more Hawaiian style, not Japanese. They have clearly marked plates for gluten free (embossed flowers on them). Service was amazing. Views were amazing and most importantly, FOOD WAS AMAZING. I had the scallops and honey mustard braised ribs.

Excellent experience. 3 of the 8 dinner guests were Celiac and we all left extremely happy. Our waiter (James) was extremely knowledgeable and took the time to make sure our meals were safe. No specific Gluten Free menu, but the our wait staff took the time to talk to each guest about the dishes we were interested in and the kitchen was willing to accommodate. The kitchen was able to prepare several of the menu items so that they were safe. The ribeye and chocolate soufflé were “the best” GF food we have had in a long time.

Ate here twice on my trip. first night the server was very thorough and knowledgeable but second waiter seemed less sure about what was safe. Was told to just pick a protein, a starch, and a vegetable and they could make whatever I wanted, mix and match the components of the menu items. Was then told that the short ribs (minus one sauce) and the butterfish were the easiest menu options to make gf. Food was delicious both times

They know and care about allergies. Made some changes to the suishi rolls but I didn't get sick and they were incredible.
