This is hands down THE BEST gluten free place!! SUPER yummy gluten free food! The whole entire restaurant is gluten free. They do not sell anything with a crumb of gluten in it!! I had lasagna and it was so so so good!! Then for desert I had TIRAMISU!! The tiramisu was soooooooooo delicious!! I couldn’t believe it! If you are in the New York area, you HAVE to go here! Will definitely come again.
Delicious pastas - we celebrated a family birthday and were thrilled to find GF Italian that our Celiac daughters and the rest of the extended family could enjoy!
This was honestly the best gluten free restaurant ever been to! The food was beyond delicious! I had lasagna for the first time in years and the fried calamari was crunchy and delicious! It was so wonderful not to have to ask what I can and can not eat! Will totally be returning and telling everyone about it!
Fabulous gluten free restaurant. The mushroom bruschetta and vegetarian lasagna were delicious. The chocolate cake yum!
Absolutely amazing! Friend calamari worth the trip from Nashville!
Total “BLISS”. The most amazing Italian restaurant that happens to be totally GF put this celiac in Heaven! Everything was incredible from the pasta fagioli to the tiramisu or the Torta al Cioccolato and everything in between rucola salad, gnocchi, Eggplant and chicken parmigiano!
Every single item we ordered was amazing. The cozy atmosphere is not just a safe haven for celiacs but is one of the finest dining experiences I have ever had.
The staff was super knowledgeable, raviolis amazing...but my God, dont miss the tiramasu and cream puffs for dessert!!!!!!! To Die For!
There aren’t enough good things to say about Senza. Everything and I mean EVERYTHING here is gluten free! Including warm French break and desserts like tiramisu! I had the best gluten free beer here as well that I can’t get at home. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. My favorite part was watching this adorable little girl realize she could eat everything on the menu. It made my day. As an adult it sucks not being able to eat everything but as a kid that’s extra hard. My non-gluten husband and kid LOVED the food. The lasagna was some of the best we’ve ever had even compared to the gluten version. My son had past bolognese and said it was the best past ever. I had the chicken Parmesan and it was delicious! I thought I’d died and gone to heaven when I ate the tiramisu. This place is a must!
Loved this food! Very delicious, and it was crazy that I had no anxiety about CC since everything in the restaurant is GF. It was expensive, but worth a new years eve dinner! Staff is also very kind.
Heavenly not to have to give my spiel to the server! Wonderful Italian food that everyone can enjoy.
Dined on 7 October 2017 for dinner. Very nice to be able to order anything on the menu without worrying about gluten-containing ingredients or cross-contamination. Very good food. Large portions. Pricey. Uncomfortably loud.
$$$$$ Definitely pricey, but being able to eat really good Italian food without having to bat an eye at ingredients...... Priceless!
Absolutely amazing dinner!
I can not said enough of this place! If you come to NY you must comes to this restaurant. Great Bread, Sandwiches, and dessert.
The food was amazing! Reserve a table. The place is small but cozy!
Ate here our first night in New York. The neighbourhood is great, and the restaurant is cozy. There is no gluten in this restaurant which is always amazing! No stress. The service was quick and really friendly. The food was good, not great. The complementary bread was really good! Nice oilve oil too. That was my favourite part of the meal.
Excellent Food and service. It was so nice to eat in an Italian restaurant without having to worry about cross contamination. Small charming restaurant - will definitely go back.
Came here on my first trip to NYC. Everything is gluten free and delicious! Got the ravioli and it’s the best I’ve ever had. Has to wait a half hour even though we made a reservation, that’s the only reason it’s not 5 stars. Will definitely be returning.
I visit here EVERY time I am in NYC. It’s incredible!
Just amazing! Great food in a totally gluten free facility! Great service too. cream puffs were amazing!!! Will definitely be back. Thank you!
The experience was top notch to be able to eat anything on the menu. The bruschetta was delicious, the Cesar salad was amazing as well, and the bread basket is worth the $3.50. The lasagna had a delicious meat sauce and was not over powering in cheese. The only complaint was that my chicken parm was very bland tasting. I think someone forgot to season the breadcrumbs or something? I also felt that the red sauce in my opinion was a little plain tasting as well. The pasta had both the taste and texture of regular gluten pasta and was delicious. Like I said my only complaint was the chicken parm was bland, but the texture and crunch was spot on.
The food and the ambiance was sooooo good! I’m Celiac and Italian food is my favorite, so to be able to eat amazing gluten free bruschetta, lasagna and chicken parmigiana with zero cross contamination worry was awesome. Definitely make a reservation because the restaurant is small (typical for NYC), but believe me, you won’t be disappointed.
The food was amazing! So many options for Italian good that I haven’t been able to eat since becoming gluten free! And everything we had was amazing - I especially enjoyed the gnocchi.
Great place. And the food was delicious. No gluten at all!!
Delicious chicken noodle soup, pasta fagioli soup, lamb chops, mashed potatoes, green beans and vegan df gf bread. All wonderful and service outstanding. Very nice atmosphere. Highly recommend!
We went intending to eat but wound up not doing so. Be aware that this place is not set up for mobility-impaired (or tall!) patrons. The bathrooms are down a narrow, long, and very steep stairway with a poorly-placed beam, and are tiny. Given that many with Celiac are low on energy or may have other issues that make movement difficult, this seems like poor design. It may have been unavoidable, but it's still something to be aware of. The waitstaff also seems very... pretentious. After bad initial impressions, we went elsewhere.
Lovely place, lovely food. Everything is gluten-free, and the food is great. Small, but cozy restaurant. Very friendly staff. Highly recommend this place either you should eat gluten-free or not!
The food was amazing and even my non gf friends loved it and request we go every time we are in the city
Amazing Italian food! Everything is gluten-free! You have to have cash or an American Express card! Expensive!
Everything was wonderful here... from the service to the food and the fun atmosphere! 100% celiac safe! It was wonderful to have a place our family could order anything we wanted and all share without worrying!
Wow. Just wow. Great food, completely dedicated gluten free. Great service. Highly recommend. It's a little small but very homely. There are zero complaints here.
Highly recommend this dedicated gluten free restaurant wirh indoor and outdoor seating. The atmosphere is warm and cozy. The staff was friendly and attentive. The margherita flatbread, vegetable lasagna, and buttermilk pancakes were outstanding with good portion sizes.
Perfect dinner after a perfect day! Delicious food, completely gf dedicated restaurant so nothing was off our list of options. Would definitely go again! Consider making reservations! Note- cash only
Great place! Who knew what a popular spot this would be!
100% GF and such a lovely place ! Had creamy mushroom ravioli and Nutella crepe, sooo happy , I don't know when I had that for the last time , it was really delicious ! Bit pricey, but totally worth it for celiacs !
Dedicated gluten free. First note is that they don't tell you they only take cash or American Express so you're kinda stuck going to an ATM after you eat. The bread was very good. I had vegetable lasagna, it was not that great. My husband had grilled chicken it was seasoned nice and was good. We shared cous cous - it was odd... overall the idea of gluten free is good but the food wasn't
Absolutely amazing! Everything was delicious. I got the bruschetta, lasagna, and tiramisu. I am thankful I travel with my Amex because they only accept Amex or cash.
My son's favorite place. A 14 year old and must have for him when we are in NYC.
Dedicated restaurant, went there for lunch and lot of choice, I ate chicken parmigiana and my wife New York strip steak sandwich and everything was amazing, bread was WOW so good
It was so great to be able to eat at a restaurant without any anxiety! I went with people who can have gluten and they seemed really happy with the food too. Plus, the servers were so nice and attentive.
I too expected great things, but it was okay. First they only accept American Express or cash. We started off with pasta Fagole in which looked like baby food. It was okay, but the beans were mushy. I had the eggplant appetizer which was very good and a side of polenta. Polenta was thick and not very creamy. Lastly, they use a lot of salt. I am celiac and really appreciate when restaurants accommodate us, but this one is extremely pricey with just okay food.
100% GF. I ate so much. And it was all incredible. Bruschetta. Lasagne. Crepes. It's expensive but well worth it. Only take cash or American Express. Make a reservation, it's a tiny place.
My new favorite place! Can't wait to try everything on the menu!!!
My favorite gluten free restaurant. My husband, who doesn't have an allergy, loves it too & says he can't tell a difference. Love the calamari & mushroom ravioli. Great service & atmosphere as well.
I expected great things considering the reviews here and the price tag. I was disappointed. Calamari was bland. Gnocchi Belognese texture was meh and flavor was way too salty for me.
Fantastic! Perfect! Wonderful for celiacs! Wonderful chicken parmigiana ❤
Great food. The tiramisu was a little over-saturated with espresso but who am I to complain about such a small detail when it's the first tiramisu I've had in something like six years? The pasta had a great texture, the bread was delicious, and even the members of my party who don't need to eat gluten-free enjoyed their food. Would definitely go again.
Delicious! Loved the chicken Parmesan and the currant scones were amazing.
$$$$ but delicious with good portions. Tasted just like being back in Italy, and what a relief to be able to pick Anything from the menu.
