The staff knew about what was gluten free and double checked if she wasn’t sure. I did have to ask if a sauce was gluten free and when she double checked it wasn’t and they had to make a new one. I had ordered off a gluten free menu so I would have assumed all was gluten free. I gave three stars because I was diligent about clarifying and double checking and had I not it would have been bad. Food was fabulous and I am posting 6 hours later and feel just fine. Go there and enjoy but make sure you ask. She said the sushi chef made sure it was gluten free but the kitchen made the sauce and didn’t.
My boyfriend and I already loved Sushi Lounge PL prior to my celiac diagnosis 2 months ago. I was so happy to find out that they have a separate GF menu, and I could still eat the majority of my favorite things. They even have GF Ponzu sauce :) Additionally, our waiter was really understanding, patient, and helpful when I had questions. I felt totally fine after my meal, and didn’t get sick at all. Can’t wait to go back!
