I would not recommend to celiacs. For everyone else, the food is really yummy and their “gluten sensitive” menu has quite a lot of choices.

For celiacs, I got glutened. I informed them I had a “gluten allergy” and had a burger from the gluten sensitive menu with a gluten free bun. The gluten sensitive menu also had fries but I opted out because I take extra caution when it comes to fried foods. I started having exposure symptoms shortly after. I don’t know how I could have gotten glutened besides cross contamination.

Make sure you ask for their gluten-sensitive menu so that the server will ensure you get the correct modifications made. The manager will also come to your table to check on you and explain that there can still be cross contamination.

Love the flavor of basically any dish on the GS menu but my faves are the salads, ribs, or coven with gf pasta.

I have had nothing but unfortunate experiences at this Sweetwater. Ordered a salad, explained I have celiac, it came with croutons. That happened several times and I just quit going for a couple years. Tried again last night. The manager came to say the fries were not safe (this is new to this location, it seems bc they used to be safe). So I opted not to get the fries. Got glutened anyway. I won’t eat there again.

They do have a gluten-sensitive menu, though you still need to ask about everything to ensure there’s no cross contamination. The server did a great job flagging our table so the manager would come and talk through our options. They were happy to swap food options out for our celiac kiddo to make sure they enjoyed their meal.

My husband and I visited this business in July 2020 and were very impressed. We both ordered the Hickory Market Fish, which was a Mahi Mahi on a crispy tostada. The manager come to our table and said the tostada is on a corn tortilla but the box says it was made in a facility that also processes products with wheat. We were very happy that they pay such careful attention and then come to our table to ask how sensitive we are and if we are comfortable with that. They offered to make it without the tostada.

Gluten free menu, waitress automatically got the manager, fries are fried separately from the breaded items. Didn’t get sick! Got the salad and fries along with the chocolate waffle.

Not gf. Told server of my severe allergy and ordered off the gf menu. I was sick within 15 minutes I used to love this place, been going here since i was a kid. Unfortunately can no longer eat here. You would think theyd accommodate better. Oh well.

I had the Jambalaya Pasta from the GF menu which I thought was good. The server asked If I had an allergy or if was a preference.

I hate giving this review because food for those people who do not have celiacs is great. Unfortunately those of us who do. After ordering off the gf menu and confirming gluten free I received a salad that clearly had the croutons picked out. The dressing was mixed in and underneath a layer of salad ended up being several croutons that were missed. I bit into one before seeing it. I have a meeting today and have been sick all day. Not cool. They apologized but that doesn't help me today while I'm trying to travel to my meetings.

We continue to happily dine here! Food is excellent and Staff is attentive about GF!

Great variety, knowledgable staff. I had a hickory bbq burger with broccollini. Cheeseburger was served with no bun (which is fine, although I was expecting a GF bun. Still tasty and a nice low carb bonus I guess.).

great atmosphere and foods always good. love they there is a gf dessert option for my daughter. she has never had a reaction after eating here, but i wish there was better consistency in handling gf there. the server always ask to confirm if gf is a preference or an allergy and most times the manager comes to your table. however upon ordering her gf burger for months one manager said it needed to be cooked on foil because the grill is gluten covered. no one has ever mentioned the foil before or after the one instance!

Great service! They had a gluten free menu. They asked if I was very sensitive or just a preference. They cooked my meat in a separate pan instead of the grill and it was delicious! They have a gluten free desert.

I've never had a bad meal here, and I've never gotten sick. In addition to their regular GF menu, many of the specials are GF, and some can be made GF if you ask. Staff seems knowledgeable and always friendly and helpful.

Ordered the warm goat cheese salad from the Gluten Sensitive menu. It arrived with the warm goat cheese rolled in gluten. Not sure why this is offered on the Gluten Sensitive menu?

Excellent food, great and knowledgeable wait staff, even Gf fries! Just hoping for a gluten free bun soon, but they have lots of other options and yummy dessert! Editing this to add that the last 2 times we have gone, there has been a crouton found in the bottom of what was supposed to be a GF salad. Their food is delicious, but when they are busy, they make mistakes and aren’t reliable.

Didn’t expect much so I wouldn’t be disappointed. My only disappoint is that I’ve been in the area 3 weeks and I haven’t been here before. Wife had salmon filet (NGF), friend had “sweet water chicken salad and I had a 16 oz. Prime rib, off the gluten free menu. No disappointment is an understatement,this is a meal that rivals the best I’ve ever had. Pleasant atmosphere, a little noisy, I suffer from headaches but the food is worth it. Josh was our waiter and he was respectful, clean cut and knowledgeable, that’s important to me.
