There were a few gluten free options for both cookies and ice cream. While quite expensive, it was delicious! One of the better gluten free cookies I’ve had (I got a sandwich with chocolate chip cookies and mint chip ice cream). Would definitely come back if we ever visit Nashville again!
Went once at night and they were out of GF cookies so we left. Tried again a week or so later and got the GF Chocolate Chip Cookie with Old Fashioned Vanilla and mini M&Ms. Not many GF ice cream flavor options, but pretty fun to have an ice cream sandwhich as that’s a rarity for GF! Good cookie, good ice cream! It’s about $9 for a GF ice cream sandwhich. A little steep but they’re big so you could definitely split with a friend.
First, it’s unclear where to park without doing so illegally or walking a distance. Then you get to the door and there’s a note with where they suggest you park. A little late at that point. Once inside the menu doesn’t show exactly what is GF and the man behind the counter acted like we were speaking a foreign language. He did change his gloves however. My daughter asked about the fudge cookie and he told her they were out. He made her order and then moved to me. I asked for a choc. chip since that the the only option and then he gives me the fudge. He offered sprinkles, but wasn’t sure as to whether the they were GF! It just felt like we walked away without what we really wanted and way too much to eat because the customizations offered for regular customers weren’t there for us being GF. Next time we’re in Nashville we will pass.
If I could give this place 6 stars, I would! After mentioning a gluten allergy, the staff immediately changed gloves to handle food without being asked. The gluten free cookies are kept separate from the regular ones. Gf cookies are labeled on the menu, but ice cream is not and can be found on Baked Bear’s website at https://www.thebakedbear.com/menu/
