Heard good things (scratch kitchen, “can make almost everything gf” , but nothing fried) and the manager came to my table to take my order, I but got glutened. I ordered the wedge salad and Turkey club with a side of roasted potatoes to split with hubs. No bueno for my guts. Bummer

Great experience- all the prior reviews were true - as soon as I said I was gluten free the manager came out to my table to discuss menu & take my order - food came out with allergy flag - absolutely felt comfortable and no reaction. 10/10.

The service and food were amazing! Our waiter was Bobby and he was brilliant. I am celiac and he was amazing at identifying what was gf. He even got the manager, Landon (who was also amazing) to make sure everything was okay. I got the chicken breast, with no sauce as it has gluten, and was so good. Food and service were 10/10

I ended up eating here three times on my trip because I was so impressed with the staff's knowledge and safety procedures. Each time the manager came out to speak with me, go over the menu and take my order directly. I had something new each time and didn't have any reactions (and I'm a sensitive Celiac). Will definitely visit The Boathouse again on my next trip!

One of my absolute favorite restaurants to this day. A manager came out to talk to me because I have a allergy to gluten and dairy. He was very friendly and helped me pick what I wanted. I got a crab cake sandwich with asparagus. This dish was absolutely perfect, the asparagus was not dry and cooked to perfection. I haven’t had a crab cake in so long and this was amazing. It was not small by any means and the flavor was great. Well worth the money and will always return here for vacation because I felt so safe and taken care of.

Absolutely amazing experience. My boyfriend and I are both gluten free (and him dairy free) and I don’t think either of us have felt more safe eating at a restaurant. They started us with gluten free rolls, mine served with plain butter and cinnamon butter, and my boyfriend’s with balsamic vinegar and olive oil, since he can’t have dairy. They could make almost everything on the menu gluten free and the server had her manager come out to take our order to be sure it was run over with the chef and there was no chance of any type of cross contamination. The manager also left us her business card after she placed our order in case we needed to reach her about anything related to our order. We felt like royalty with the service we got. When our food came out it all had an allergy tag on it so there was no question about anything. Wonderful staff and the food tasted great.

I disclosed by allergy and the waiter had his supervisor come to the table to walk me through the menu and ask if cross contact is an issue for me. He went through a checklist of questions and wrote down my responses with my order. Had a delicious piece of salmon and the best GF Mac and cheese I’ve ever had! No reactions and super happy with my experience!

Awesome experience. Manager came to the table to speak with me about my gluten intolerance and reassured me that my food would be prepared separately to avoid cross contamination. I had grilled mahi tacos and they were amazing. Great service from start to finish.

Wonderful experience! The manager wakes me through the menu—basically everything could be prepared GF except for the deep fried items. Great attention to detail—the waitress took my order and had the manager and chef check it over as an extra precaution. She even checked with the kitchen to be sure the meal my fiancé ordered was GF so we could share a few bites with each other! This was truly one of the best experiences I’ve EVER had at a restaurant.

The manager came out and told me 95% of the menu is gluten free or could be made gluten free. I am not celiac, but they said they use shared fryers. I got a burger with a gluten free bun and it was delicious!

Amazing! Food was great, many gluten free options including the lobster bisque. They do not have a dedicated fryer, so avoid anything fried. Many fried items can be modified and cooked in a pan without breading, for example firecracker shrimp.

One of the best experiences for my celiac daughter. Very knowledgeable. She was able to have gluten free bread. They even have gluten free Mac and cheese. When the server came over with the food he said he also has celiac and wanted to let us know they took every precaution.

I read so many great reviews and felt comfortable taking my celiac kiddo here after talking to the waitress and manager, a big mistake that nearly ruined our vacation! No gf fryer but we made some substitutions and ordered a gf kids burger with a side of pasta. Server "got it" and manager came over to confirm. The first time server came and apologized saying they had made a mistake with his order so they were redoing. His food was eventually brought out by a different server with an allergy pick in it, saying "here is your allergy order". I asked him to confirm if by allergy he meant gf and he said "yes, I think it must be". Before my son took a bite, he said "actually the bun doesn't look gf, I'll check"! We then waited forever for a 3rd try at making this correctly and he was served a well done, inedible burger on a gf bun. I will say, the server and manager tried to do everything to make it right. The fact that they placed an allergy pick in it was the scariest part! Our other 3 dinners and apps were good.

This place had good intentions, but missed the mark for me. They worked so hard to make sure I didn’t get any allergen foods in my meal, that it was pared down to the point I didn’t even want it anymore. I felt like crying from disappointment. Being sensitive to people with food issues should be about offering a full menu of foods that are the same as the regular menu but just GF/ allergen free as much as possible. It’s not about taking away every ingredient until there’s hardly anything left. While I see improvements in restaurants trying to help those with food issues, there is still a long way to go.

OUTSTANDING SERVICE!!!! We spent the whole day at Disney Springs and we're lucky to get a last minute reservation with The Boathouse. The manager came to our table to discuss my concerns regarding cross contamination and they took detailed notes on regarding allergic cross contamination and then helped select GF items. My husband ordered the GF salmon so I could try it, and I had the boneless ribeye. The food was outstanding! So fresh, and vibrant. The service was excellent. They even had GF rolls to offer while everyone else got their house butter rolls. Excellent all around. Will definitely return.

Great restaurant for people with celiac disease! Lots of menu items can be accommodated and the waitstaff get the manager to bring you a Udi’s gluten free roll as soon as you tell them you are gluten-free. I ordered the fillet mignon sliders and it came with an allergy stick. Fries are not made in a safe fryer but upgrading to a baked potato or salad is free. Highly recommend!

I told the hostess upon arrival that I have celiac and I had heard they were gluten friendly. She told me either my server or the manager would go over my preferences to determine the best options to meet my needs. When I told my waiter the same thing, he immediately said “ if you have cross- contamination concerns let me guide you this way “. The way he phased it put me at ease. I knew this guy was going to take care of me. I ordered the filet and added a baked potato and so did my husband. My food was clearly marked with an allergy stick so I knew it was prepared separately. My family rates this restaurant as a 10. Food was great and I felt 100% safe eating here. 7 hours later- no reactions!! Best day of our vacation. Mom finally got to eat out!
