Food taste: We had the cheese curds and they were good, but salty. All the burgers at our table were charred, so you couldn’t really taste anything else, like the bbq sauce on my Cowboy burger. Fries were also very salty.

For safety: we won’t be going back. We sat where we could watch the kitchen and there is so much cross contamination. When the GF buns are grabbed, they do put on gloves, but when they took the bun off the grill they assemble them on the same prep area as the regular buns (tacos go here, too). We sent the burger back and told them why, and they didn’t put the second one on the gluten prep area. Another concerning thing is that the guy who handled the gluten buns also salted all the things with his gluten contaminated fingers.

I used to love this place but have gotten sick every single time I’ve gone there for about a year. Mentioned having celiac each time and tried to avoid certain menu items with no luck. I think being gluten free used to be taken more seriously here but not anymore. Disappointing.

They have a dedicated gluten free fryer and serve gluten free onion rings and cheese curds in addition to other options. The whole menu is safe with the only gluten I saw being buns and bread that can be subbed GF. More than 1 GF dessert option. We had a great experience.

I ordered the Moroccan chili & Moroccan fries with harissa sauce. I tested the chili with my Nima sensor (there was harissa sauce on top). It tested positive for gluten. I tested the harissa dipping sauce separately, it too tested positive for gluten. The Moroccan fries were indeed gluten free. I do not believe one of the owners has celiac as stated by another reviewer, she simply chose to avoid gluten as a healthy food choice (you can read about it on their website). They own another restaurant (a cafe that is not celiac-friendly) in addition to a speakeasy. That information made a difference to me going in which is why I decided to test each food part separately. Tiny kitchen, hard to have dedicated GF space - our server said they could make most items GF (which to me implied that it’s more than just the buns that contain gluten).

Great place! Almost the whole menu was gluten free. The waitstaff was very knowledgeable and talked to us about GF options and the kitchen set up. My daughter was thrilled to have (delicious) GF cheese curds. I had a non-GF burger and it was very good. We also had the cauliflower ‘wings’ and they were very tasty. We would definitely come back here!

Awesome! Come here if you are in the area! Great food, knowledgeable staff and great drinks! We sat on the patio and had a wonderful dinner. My husband and I split cheese curds, a burger with fries and wings (peanut sauce). It was great! I highly recommend it here. I will be back to try more items. :-)

I was super excited to try their onion rings! They were delicious! Staff were super nice and helpful. Tacos were good. Non-celiac partner said the burger was really salty which was odd. I did feel a little bloated after eating, maybe I was just really full or maybe there was a bit of contamination (TMI, but for reference, I would normally vomit 2hrs or so after eating a crumb or two)

Unfortunately the second time I have been there with issues. 1st time was when they first opened and I got very sick… I emailed them to nicely let them know with no response. This time prior to going I called ahead and discussed with server. Most menu says GF but I tested GF cheese curds with my nima tester and result was gluten found. Luckily I had not eaten any. I informed the server that they may want to let kitchen know and he listened but didn’t seem overly interested or concerned and said he wasn’t sure how that happened. Won’t be going back…:( kind of disappointed in the lack of interest in figuring out why the issues. Had high hopes for this place especially after all of the reviews recently. Maybe ok for GF by choice but not for celiac. Or maybe other menu items are safer.

Delicious restaurant! Really cool vibe. I felt pretty confident with all the GF options listed on the menu. I am not 100% sure if they have a dedicated GF fryer but felt safe with the menu listings. I had awesome cheese curds, cauliflower falafel, burger with a quality GF bun, and yummy flourless chocolate torte with maple glaze. Highly recommend!

Update: I had a few skin bumps pop up the day after, which usually means there was gluten contamination (makes sense because it is not a dedicated gluten-free restaurant). That being said, I would still eat here again, because it was delicious and I felt mostly safe.

This place is amazing for celiacs and the gluten intolerant. We have been here twice and both times our servers were knowledgeable and were able to point out safe foods and the very narrow amount of foods to avoid.

This is a place that I would bring my celiac daughter again and again. The food was fantastic (they have cheese curds), and they have a 90s nostalgia vibe.

First time did not disappoint! Had the fruit bowl and cheese curds to start. Cheese curds are super light and airy. Highly recommend. Cheeseburger came on a thin gluten free bun which did not fall apart or get soggy. Thick cut fries are hot and fresh. This will be our new favorite spot. Menu clearly marked and LOTS of options.

What a wonderful time! Waitress was super knowledgeable. Most the menu is gluten free as well as vegan. I can't do dairy either and they deep fry their cheese curds with their other items so I couldn't have the fries or onion rings but everything that goes into the deep fryer is gluten free. Literally the best vegan ice cream of my life. Food was pretty good.

Amazing! Server said everything is GF except they do have normal buns available. It is all clearly marked on the menu. Friers are all dedicated GF and the cheese curds, onion rings, and fries are all amazing!! Prices are very reasonable for a mostly dedicated GF restaurant. I am a severely sensitive celiac and I did not have any reaction.

Their reservation policy’s inconsistent and it’s a tiny place, so one shoild just call them and ask. On our second try, three of us got bar seats. The onion rings were good, and the shrimp po’boy had plenty of shrimp. I was very excited (and nervous) that the bun had the smooth, brown top of a real hamburger bun—but it disintegrated just like GF buns always do (whew!). Quite good, will go back. Husband and mom-in-law’s nonGF food very good, too (try the Korean bowl).

I had dinner there this past Thursday and it was amazing. The server was knowledgeable and almost everything is gluten free. They have a dedicated fryer. I am Celiac.
