I never thought I would be able to have Chinese food but this place proved me wrong! I have eaten there regularly over the past few years and it’s always been delicious and feels very safe. Although I usually get takeout, it is also a great dine-in environment. The servers are great and it’s just a very peaceful experience.

The incredible selection of gluten free options is like no other Chinese restaurant I've been to. And that's just scratching the surface of this incredible place. Best Chinese food -- the Peking Beef has flavors that keep you just going back for more (not to mention the tender beef with a crispy exterior). The staff here is kind, friendly, and provides excellent service. We travel just to come here.

Update: my daughter ended up getting terribly sick. It was definitely the food as she didn't eat anything after before going to bed. This means, the restaurant was not great about avoiding cross contamination as they claimed. We will not return here for GF foods.
==========
This is our second time eating food from this establishment. The first was a few years ago - we ordered takeout for Christmas. This time, we decided to dine in. The staff was so kind. There were so many gluten free options. As the staff brought out the food, they reiterated that the food was gluten free, which was nice and affirming. The food was delicious. The taste was slightly different than our other favorite Chinese food restaurant with gluten free options - but it was still tasty. We will definitely return!

Most amazing gluten free Chinese food / experience…I was diagnosed with celiac a year ago and it’s so stressful eating out sometimes. It’s Their 40 year anniversary and the owner told me she started serving gluten free food when a little boy came in (almost 40 years ago) with celiac. 90% of the menu is gluten free, they use chestnut flour (so they don’t worry about cross contamination) and the owners son is a nutritionist. If you want Chinese food this is the place to go.

We were traveling back from a sports event in the Boston area and found Uncle Cheung’s on the app. I am so glad we did! Everything was delicious. We had shrimp dumplings, General’s chicken, shrimp with snow peas and pork fried rice. They are completely aware of cross contamination. Service was friendly and knowledgeable. The owner spoke with us. We have another event in a couple of weeks and we’ll plan on coming to Uncle Cheung’s again!

Very knowledgeable about cross contamination. Me and my boyfriend sat at the bar and couldn’t believe the amount of gluten free takeout they do! The owner came over and talked about cross contamination with us. Awesome food! I’ve missed good Chinese food

Tons of options and all absolutely delicious. One of the few places that can actually do gluten free Chinese food! Didn’t make me sick at all and I trust their precautions.

My first time having Chinese food since my celiac diagnosis 9 years ago. It was amazing! No cross contamination issues, separate fryers, and almost the entire menu is GF. Very re assuring when the owner came out and talked to me about how the kitchen operates to accommodate people with celiac. I will be going back

This place is a game changer. Chinese food was all but a thing of the past since I was diagnosed, so I was ecstatic to find a place where I can get my classic americanized Chinese takeout.
The food is fantastic, you can get nearly everything made gluten free. I have never had a reaction here. Worth a drive if you have a powerful need for Chinese food.

Been craving Chinese food for a while now and haven't found anywhere safe. I cannot describe how excited I was to find this spot!! The food is amazing and safe! The staff were so nice and careful. Feel great after eating there! So many options and they take all the precautions! They seem to be very proud of the gluten free options and promote it. It seems they have a very large following! Most of the to go orders I saw were gluten free and others dining in were also asking for gluten free items. I cannot recommend them highly enough! We will definitely be back!

The best. My daughter was somewhat heartbroken that she could not enjoy Chinese food after she was diagnosed with Celiac. Uncle Cheungs changed everything. Very good food and almost everything on the menu can be prepped gluten free in dedicated fryers, in completely Celiac safe kitchen. The owner's son is a nutritionist/dietitian that helped his parents design a completely new, Celiac safe kitchen. The owners are really educated and dedicated to making sure your options are plentiful, really delicious and above all, safe. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. My daughter had dumplings, fried rice, general gaus and there was no difference in taste than anything I've ever had.

Best gluten free Chinese food I have had!! I got the orange chicken and if you hadn’t told me it was gluten free I would never have known. My girlfriend got the egg foo young gluten free and she was amazed! The sauce that traditionally comes with egg foo young is not gluten free but they are able to make it gluten free here! On top of that the drinks are $7 you can’t go wrong

This is the best gluten free food I have ever had in my entire life! My husband (who is non GF) and I go pretty much every week because of how amazing it is. Everything in the restaurant is prepared gluten free, any gluten dish has the gluten added in a separate space of the kitchen after everything has been cooked. The family is incredibly knowledgeable about gluten free food and this place has a vast Dim Sum menu! I cannot recommend this place enough

I am newly gluten free due to celiac diagnosis, one of my biggest foods I was upset to lose was general Chinese and other Asian food takeout. Let me tell you, this spot will now be my forever go to spot. I drove 30 minutes to pick it up and the woman (not sure if she is the owner) could not have been nicer. It was my first time ever ordering with the celiac and I was very nervous. They asked if it was my first time at the restaurant and explained that some items which come gf are not breaded like they usually would be non-gf. She assured me that there was no cross contamination and over 93% of their menu can be made gf!! I got the garlic chicken with white rice and also ordered pork fried rice to try. Not only could I barely taste the difference, I actually really like the taste better! Good portions, excellent staff, superb allergy awareness and accommodations, and delicious food! This place will become a regular for me (even with the hour round trip) and I’m so excited I found this place! HIGHLY recommend!!

This place is a godsend for everyone who misses Chinese takeout. The staff, who are always friendly, told me that most of the menu can not only be made gluten free but that it is also safe for celiacs. The selection is so huge that I normally can’t even decide what to get! I love the fried chicken wings and the egg drop soup but there’s so much more I want to try. I can’t recommend this place enough.

Delicious! Our go-to spot for Chinese food. Incredibly knowledgable staff. Family owned. Son is a dietician and understands allergies and celiac disease well. Whenever I come to pick up my order the owner comes out to the car to personally thank me and the Celiac/GF community for keeping them in business through the Pandemic.

Really delicious! We particularly love the gluten free chicken fingers, teriyaki beef, and sautéed rice cakes! But everything was delicious!!!!!

Ordered take-out because of all the good reviews on this site. We have a large family and ordered 6 different dishes - all gluten free. We made sure to ask several times for everything to be gluten free, and were assured by the woman, who took the order, that they were very experienced with celiac disease and could make food gluten free. At home, tested 3 of the dishes with Nima sensor, and all three tested positive for gluten. Non-celiac family members ate the food and said it tasted good, but it was a major disappointment because I could not eat any. I did not want to spend more Nima capsules (they cost $6 each) to check the remaining dishes. I am not sure if this was one time glitch or if the place is unsafe for celiacs, but this was our experience.

The owners have a son with celiac who became a nutritionist and helped create the gluten free menu. They can make almost anything gluten free! My favorite are the rice patties (ask the server, she’ll know - she also makes other recommendations). I always order the Chow Foon with shrimp AND vegetables. Never ever gotten sick, they have a separate area in the kitchen to prepare gluten free foods. Absolutely love this place. My family goes there all the time.
