80% of their sales are gluten free orders. They don’t use any flour with gluten and have a dedicated fryer for gluten free food. They use separate utensils, change their gloves, etc. Food was really good.

They are very careful and say they have dedicated cook space. My celiac daughter eats here periodically and her celiac blood tests are always in normal range!

Really delicious! We particularly love the gluten free chicken fingers, teriyaki beef, and sautéed rice cakes! But everything was delicious!!!!!

During the pandemic they are doing a fantastic job! Food was even better than usual. Pay by phone and touchless pickup! yummy gluten free and safe during pandemic!

Amazing! I was very surprised by how many of the items can be made gluten free. I got to try the pork fried rice (the best I’ve ever tried!), lo mein made with rice noodles, sweet and sour chicken, and mu shu beef. Everything tasted fresh and delicious.

Ordered take-out because of all the good reviews on this site. We have a large family and ordered 6 different dishes - all gluten free. We made sure to ask several times for everything to be gluten free, and were assured by the woman, who took the order, that they were very experienced with celiac disease and could make food gluten free. At home, tested 3 of the dishes with Nima sensor, and all three tested positive for gluten. Non-celiac family members ate the food and said it tasted good, but it was a major disappointment because I could not eat any. I did not want to spend more Nima capsules (they cost $6 each) to check the remaining dishes. I am not sure if this was one time glitch or if the place is unsafe for celiacs, but this was our experience.

The owners have a son with celiac who became a nutritionist and helped create the gluten free menu. They can make almost anything gluten free! My favorite are the rice patties (ask the server, she’ll know - she also makes other recommendations). I always order the Chow Foon with shrimp AND vegetables. Never ever gotten sick, they have a separate area in the kitchen to prepare gluten free foods. Absolutely love this place. My family goes there all the time.

These guys know what they’re doing to keep gluten out of their food. Gluten products were labeled and in a separate bag. Staff was attentive and welcoming. Good food too, pretty much standard American style Chinese. I felt safe eating here, and no celiac reaction after.

Incredible experience! Excellent Chinese food and extremely Celiac friendly. They have a dietician on staff (at the restaurant on Saturday nights) who advises on the menu and GF protocols, and who spoke to us to make suggestions. Very friendly staff and could not tell difference between GF and regular food. Our favorite Chinese restaurant! Highly recommended!

They are very knowledgeable about preparing gluten free food and avoiding cross contamination. The food is delicious and they can prepare most items gluten free. I have eaten here many, many times with no problems. They do a tremendous gluten free business as they provide safe and tasty Chinese food. This is the only restaurant that I have been to as many times as I have with never having a problem. I would highly recommend.

I went here for the first time last night and was so excited. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and the server (possibly the owner) explained that they use cornstarch and a separate fryer. She gave great recommendations, don’t skip the Grandmas Shrimp! Every plate brought out was specified as gluten free and all the sauces as well. All in all, this was a great experience and it’s been years since I’ve had Chinese food like this! I will definitely be back!

Delicious, amazing pride taken in preparing and packing up (to go) gluten free dishes. No reactions to any food immediately or several days later. The food is so so so good. I haven't had Chinese food in decades. I wish I was here more or that they had a spot near me! Friendly, sweet people. A delicious meal that lasted for two meals with left overs. So much to try when I go back. So happy! Thank you Uncle Cheung's.

Amazing celiac-safe Chinese food. The owner, Joy, explained how their kitchen runs. They use corn starch and water chestnut flour for breading and it’s all in a completely separate fryer and kitchen area. Even knew to bring me separate duck sauce since my parents got a gluten filled appetizer. Definitely will be going back here ASAP!

Went to Uncle Cheung's on the basis of reviews from findmeglutenfree and was very happy! I haven't had Chinese food like this since before Celiac, and I did not get sick from anything we ordered. The woman who took our order was very knowledgeable and friendly, and told us immediately what was available GF (almost all mains and some appetizers). Really excited to have a Celiac-safe takeout place to order from.

I thought it was amazing, chow fun noodles were something I really missed, and they were good. It’s very hard to find gluten free Chinese, and the waitress/owner was very knowledgeable. She said a large percentage of their customers were gluten free, and in fact a table next to us had multiple allergies.

I also thought the general gaos chicken was good, but not the orange chicken. The non gluten free in our party were not very happy, but they also prefer very traditional American Chinese and maybe weren’t used to gluten free fried food. Next time I’d like to try some of the more authentic Chinese dishes, of which there were plenty.

This place is fantastic! I would give it 10 stars if I could. The staff is very knowledgeable and they are very careful. They also have a large gluten free list.

I have been here many times over the years and have never had a problem.

Just a heads up if you want to order for New Year's Eve get your order in early. It's their busiest day and in order to make sure your food is safe they stop taking gluten free orders after a certain time.

Can't recommend this place enough!

The food and the service were 5 stars - excellent for our family. My son has celiac's disease so we researched where to go while in town. The GF food was amazing for everyone at the table! Almost everything is GF there!!! How about that!? Could NEVER tell!! I have not been to such a good place in years...and I am not GF. I wish they had another location in my home town in CT!

Super nice people, family owned! Checked often to make sure we liked everything and when we ordered....made sure we knew what items were safe (which were most)!

So nice when everyone is happy!!

I went here a while ago but the food we got was disgusting. We ordered several different meals, 2 of which were pasta dishes and the noodles were slimy. The fryer oil had clearly not been changed when it should have been. I would never go again and it was definitely one of the worst restaurants I've ever been to. Only reason they get 2 stars is because I didn't get sick.
