One dish was able to be modified to be gluten free and it lost all its flavor when modified.

Things must have improved greatly in a year because I’m as sensitive as they come and had no issues here. Everyone took great care of me from the host, to the waitress Laúra, to the manager Andrea. Classify your celiac as “severe gluten allergy” and they will guide you through selecting and modifying your order. I ordered edamame (safe as it comes) and a Wagamama salad. However, the menu is not marked GF and the wait staff instructed me to hold the dressing and noodle crunch and steam my tofu. I wouldn’t have known this without their help. Thank goodness for an amazing staff and a very safe and yummy option in Faneuil Hall!

They said everything has cross contamination and that I shouldn’t eat there if I have celiac

I don’t understand why this place is marked as gluten free, it has no gluten free menu or options marked as gluten free. The waiter wasn’t knowledgeable of what had gluten, I ordered something and later, whom I guess was the manager came and told me that what I ordered would have traces of gluten. So I asked if I could switch for the ginger chicken and she said it would have to be with gluten free soy sauce instead. I got the food and not only did it not taste good and was super salty but also tasted like ginger which makes me wonder if I will end up getting sick

Not a lot of options but the food was excellent and fast. My daughter is celiac and had no issues.

Told the waiter I was celiac when I sat down and was told not to eat there. Appreciated the honesty, but very disappointing that they don’t even try to accommodate customers with allergies

I got glutened here! They said my meal would be gluten free if they took away one of the sauces. When I got my food the gluten sauce still came, but on the side. They took it away, but I still got sick. CELIACS STAY AWAY!!!!!
No
On a school trip my eleven year old daughter with celiac was served the wrong meal and was violently ill for a week. CELIACS STAY AWAY we had had a couple good experiences with another Wagamama that closed, and we were very upset at what happened. We will never be dining at any Wagamamas again. I’ll repeat CELIACS STAY AWAY

Beyond average. Staff didn’t seem to know anything about what gluten is - I ordered the pad Thai gluten free: it was rice noodles with no seasoning at all, plus protein and veg. So many other places to eat that I won’t come back here
No
They were able to make my young daughters gf from the kids menu. My daughter enjoyed something close to chicken noodle soup for the first time since diagnosis (noodles were rice noodles.) my other daughter had something similar to chicken fried rice. Her only complaint was she wanted more chicken.
I ordered gluten free chicken ramen which didn't really taste that great to begin with and was too expensive and I was sick almost immediately. I was traveling from out of town and it was almost impossible to find a bathroom!!! Horrible experience!

Safe for celiacs but not many options.

wait staff very responsive; provided a menu which called out the gluten free items. very good overall experience
This place is quite tasty. I had a great experience. They were very conscious about gluten and helped me out tremendously !
They were very knowledgeable--the host took a takeout menu and marked off everything that was naturally GF and which chould be made safe by alteration (they have San-J GF soy sauce, my fave) I had the vegetarian spring rolls, and chicken chili "ramen" with glass noodles, along with a side of lovely fried tofu that I soaked in the super tasty broth. I felt fine both immediately afterwards and several hours after, so they successfully kept me safe. :) Since I still break out in a rash that then bleeds if I get wheat flour based stuff on my hands, I make a decent mine canary, and I'd say that as long as you are clear they will happily show you the options here. (Note: there were also a lot of 'small plates' and sides that are naturally GF and a meal of those would also be awesome. I just super wanted soup) So, a solid four stars, because if they had a km enu pre set up it would have made ot easier on both their on location staff and me :p Dear corporate, just make them a little sheet, ok?
Yes
There's one sauce that's gluten free... I ended up with plain rice, plain broccoli, and plain chicken, a horribly bland meal.
No
No gluten free menu. The server sometimes marks those items that are gluten free and then sometimes they tell you that they can make almost anything gluten free. So then you proceed to ask about certain dishes and then they say, oh, not sure, let me check on that, they disappear for a while and come back to say no, or to tell you that they can make it without this and that. There has to be a better way.

On paper it seems like a great option for gluten free people. In reality, not so much. I went recently and was basically told I could eat rice. Not quite what I'm looking for when dining out. I'd say skip the place and go somewhere else. not worth it.
No
There is not an actual gluten free menu. The server circles
The gf options on the actual menu.
That's all right but i think some options actually do have gluten on it. So it makes you think if they actually know what gluten free means
So i ordered a mango chicken something and they
Brought me something that tasted like hospital food.
No salt on it. Flavorless. It made me feel like a sick person. Not an allergic one
They're probably good on their regular menu, but i wouldn't recommend the place for a celiac.
No
Nice to have a decent sit down place at Quincy market. The menu is circled by staff to designate gf. There are some things that come with gf noodles instead of wheat. The mango sauce in the mango curry has gluten in it....Thus becoming a very boring dish. The other options are good. The waitstaff will ask if it's gf due to allergy or preference.
Yes
Waiter was very nice about picking out everything on the menu that could be gluten free.. However I ended up with grilled chicken, brown rice and steamed broccoli. Boring.
Ate here with my vegan daughter. No GF menu but there are some GF entrees. The wait staff was polite not knowledgable. The foods I tried did not make me ill, but I thought they tasted like soap. I ate very little and drank a lot if water, hoping my table companions were enjoying themselves enough to not notice.
No
I called ahead to find out what options they had available. They have a rice noodle that they said could be substituted in the chicken ramen, and that to ask for the item to be made gluten free. The menu is not labeled.
It wasn’t bad, but tasted basically like chicken noodle soup.
Given the limited options I would recommend going somewhere else if you have a choice.

We shared our allergies very clearly at the beginning of the meal. Unfortunately the chicken donburi bowl made me very sick, even though it was supposed to have been prepared GF and Sesame free. Neither were noted on the ticket, so I think they just didn't do it. Ruined my meal and my day.

They tried to help me make choices that would have the least amount of gluten, but I don't think there's anything other than edamame that's safely gluten free. They asked about cross contamination being a thing.
I mainly wanted to say that there is no gluten free menu, and there is nothing that indicates what has or doesn't have allergins. I did get a ride bowl with some things on it. I expect some level of contamination.

I thought this restaurant would be ok to try bc a previous review said "almost everything can be made gluten free". That's incorrect.
As of January 2023 only 3 things in the menu can be made gluten free (as per the waiter). Chicken Pad Thai, Chicken Ramen and another chicken dish I forgot.
Already seemed to be the blandest items on the menu and making it gluten free caused items (and flavors) to be left out.
My two gluten eating dinner companions said their food was just ok, as well.
