They have a gluten free crust and a cauliflower crust that is also gluten free. When you order a gf crust the put a piece liner and cardboard underneath so it doesn’t touch the surface the other pizzas have touched, but it is used on the same pizza board as non gf pizzas.
They say it is a personal pizza but you could get two meals out of it, it also comes with salad or gelato. It is very good, it taste no different than the normal pizza.
All the staff is very nice and understanding except for one older lady who works there during the weeks.
"It is possible that there may be trace amounts of flour among our toppings. Our team members would be happy to change their gloves and build your pizza in a separate prep area in the back upon request if you are allergic to gluten. Gluten-free pizzas are baked in an aluminum tray to promote easy identification and reduced gluten contact. However, since we do work around flour all day and ALL pizzas are baked in the same oven, we can not guarantee that trace particles of flour and/or gluten are not in and around gluten-free items."
Even on a Sunday night with skeleton staff I was well taken care of. As soon as I mentioned Celiac my server took off his gloves and told me he was going to the back to make my pizza completely separately. Great quick service concept, you pick any toppings you like in a Subway style line. I picked my toppings and my server wrote them down and disappeared into the back (they didn’t use the contaminated toppings from the normal line). Delicious and safe!
They seem to take allergy needs seriously and prepare gf pizzas in the back. Premade crust from potato flour, which gives the pizzas a potato flavor, whether you want that or not.
Gluten free crust is available and pre-made. When I requested gluten free, I was immediately asked if it was an allergy. When I said it was, I was then asked if I needed it made in the back, away from where all the regular ones are made. I requested that, and he brought it out for me to look at before baking to make sure everything was as I had ordered it. They do go in a common oven but the gf crust is in its own tin. I liked the texture of the crust a lot. My friend thought it was "just ok".
I was so excited to eat here after the reviews. However, I did not have a great experience. I have had a TON of GF pizzas. From frozen to many establishments. This was by far the worst GF pizza I have ever had. I was very disappointed and will not be back. The girl that had to make my pizza had a real attitude about it and even made a remark to her coworker, then begrudgingly walked to the back to make my pizza.
We ordered through the app and pleasantly surprised that when ordering it has the option for gf crust/allergy or gf crust/preference. For an allergy, they prep it in a separate area in the back and pull ingredients from the refrigerator that haven't been contaminated, then cook it separately from the regular pizza. The employees seem to understand the importance of our concerns and put us at ease. The pizza and crust were both delicious! They even have gf gelato and Udi's snickerdoodle cookies!
Went tonight and the pizza was delicious! Asked if I had an allergy and when K said yes, she said they would make it in the back away from the other pizza. She also said that even though they use the same oven, the pan has sides so the pizza does not touch anything. Highly recommend! Oh and they also had GF cider- Bold Rock hard cider!
