Great knowledgeable staff with great gluten free crust. Need options of fresh meats without preservatives. No cross contamination is a win for me!
Staff asked me to confirm if allergy or preference. Then they took care of my order in the back to ensure. I cross contamination. I ordered the basil tomato and mozzarella pizza. It tasted great. Usually I’d not like it because it has too much cheese, but it was just the right amount. I also ordered the peppermint chocolate gelato. It also was delicious. No issues what so ever. Will return again!
We have eaten here many times on our trips to Savannah. I have Celiac and Salicylate Sensitivity. They are very knowledgeable about CC, and even prepare gluten free pizzas in a separate area. Every GF pizza I have had here has been great! Sadly, during this last visit we ate at the Your Pie in Pooler, Ga, and the experience was not as good as the one in downtown Savannah. Lesson learned.
GF crust is a $4 up charge, but most toppings except meatballs were GF. Staff is knowledgeable about celiac and both pizza and side salad were prepped in a separate area to avoid cc.
Enjoyed my gluten-free pizza without any reactions...friendly staff. 😋
I had a gf Great White pizza. It was delicious! I have celiac and I instantly react to gluten. I was fine after eating it and the next day after eating the leftovers. The staff was very busy (Saturday night, jam-packed) but they took time to explain their process and were very careful. They have a separate area and toppings for GF pizzas. This is a place that you must try!
Food was certainly 5⭐️(GF and nonGF review); however, the young lady that greeted us seemed aggravated with questions from the get go. She half-heartedly asked us if my husband was GF by preference or allergy and then seemed annoyed when he said it was an allergy. Since we both have worked in food services, we decided she may have just been having a bad day so definitely not a reason not to go.
We went here based on prior reviews and were so disappointed. First and foremost the attitude we received from multiple workers Saturday 7.14.18 was ridiculous. I honestly felt that energy right away, but add gluten free formalities and the annoyance grew. The pizza was limp/under-cooked in the middle and burnt on the crust. My entire family of 4 (we all eat GF) did not enjoy their pizza. So disappointed.
Ate here twice when I was in town. Perhaps the tastiest gluten free pizza I've ever eaten. Dedicated prep area but common oven. The staff pays attention and I had no gluten reactions.
Kinda expensive. Ordered an order of GF cheese sticks and it was over $17 friendly
Great tasting GF pizza! I ordered on line and they have a special box if it's an allergy and they change gloves. Baked in a special disposable pan. Can't wait to eat here again
So good! They make GF pizza in a separate back kitchen. Delicious.
Great gluten free pizza! They prepare it in the back kitchen to avoid cross contamination. They bring it out and put it in the shared oven but it is in ya own foil pan so it doesn’t touch anything. The crust was very soft and not too crunchy like most gf crust. I ate there about 10 hours ago and have not felt any symptoms.
The staff was very knowledgeable & asked if gf was an allergy or preference. The pizza was amazing!
I eat here every time I’m in town. They’re as cautious as can be, I’ve never had any issues. I have celiac. Very good pizza.
Staff was very knowledgeable about gluten. As soon as we said celiac, prep switched to another employee in a separate area. They were happy to answer our questions about cross contact. There's a $4 upcharge for gluten free but it's worth it. We will definitely eat here again.
Had a gf pizza - ask for it to be prepared in the back separately. Crunchy thin crust. GF cider too. Not the best service. Sensitive celiac and no problems.
We decided to eat here last-minute during our vacation based on some reviews here. When we walked in, two guys were Rossi g pizza crust at the line. Gluten-filled pizzas were going directly into the wood fire oven. Flour. Everywhere. Oh. No. My husband ordered his regular pizza and I stood there terrified... BUT THEN... I meekly asked, “I need a gluten free pizza. How would that work here?” The guy immediately asked, “Allergy or preference?” And as soon as I confirmed Allergy, he removed his gloves and asked what I wanted on it. A sign identifying gluten-containing toppings was clearly posted, so I knew what to avoid. He wrote down my order and prepared my pizza on a gluten free crust in a separate room. When he came back, the pizza was in its own rimmed pan and it baked in that, not touching the oven surface like the regular pizzas. I know that cross contamination was still a possibility, but I haven’t reacted that I can tell. I so pleased with the care given to my order, and my pizza was delicious!
Great pizza, very careful with GF orders. Ingredients listed for crust, prepped separately from regular pizza, baked on its own aluminum pan. Almost every topping is gf, dairy free also available. Had the butternut squash pie, all the toppings were super fresh. Staff checked on us after we ate to see if everything was ok for me. As safe as they can make it for a pizza place. Super nice!
Celiac safe and great food.
Staff was excellent and took my order aside to be cooked separately. Great vegan cheese and options!
My son loves the gluten free pizza!
Excellent care for cross contamination and very good quality food too. Wished I lived closer because I'd go back!
YUM! Good pizza, had vegan cheese, excellent precautions. Hubby loved his regular pizza too. Highly recommend!
Really good pizza. Asked if pizza needed to be prepared in the back (separate location from all the gluten). Pizza baked in its own pan too. Changed gloves prior to handling gluten free pies.
One of the best GF pizzas I have had. I'm very sensitive and did not get sick.
Gluten free & delicious!!! Wish we had one close to where we live. Crust was crispy & light. Fresh tomatoes, fresh basil & olive oil (I left off the garlic) is the Ischia pizza.
Best pizza I've had in a while!
Uses a separate area to prepare GF pizza with separate GF ingredients. Bakes off pizza in pan to avoid cross contamination in oven. also has GF beer options. It was really nice to eat out and not worry about cross contamination!
We called ahead to check if someone with Celiac and nut allergies would be able to eat the pizza. The guy I spoke with even read the ingredients in the crust. The pizza was delicious and we had no problems.
they use a separate area for those who are allergic! great staff and yummy pizza!
When we stepped up to order and asked for a GF pizza pie they asked if it was for an allergy or diet choice. When we said allergy they took note, prepared our pizza in a completely separate section away from where the rest of the pizzas were prepared, I witnessed the cook change his gloves and wash his hands after getting our order even though he was already in the GF section - just to be extra safe, he used toppings that were kept separate from the rest that could have been contaminated, the receipt even had a separate medical allergy annotation, and when they delivered our food to the table the kitchen runner confirmed that this was a GF dish prepared for allergy. Extremely impressed with how well their company is setup to handle our GF food options. They even offered a GF beer and a cider. Their food was tasty and their service quick.
Really good GF pizza! I had the BBQ chicken pizza & my sons had sausage & pepperoni. Would definitely go back!
Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. They change their gloves and make the gluten free pizza away from other pizzas. This is a great place to eat with non-GF friends because everyone can get exactly what they want. I've had a good experience every time I come here.
Food was good and the staff was friendly but this was not celiac friendly. I got sick after dining here.
Eaten here twice now on my vacation! They are cautious and make the pizza in the back. Very yummy and no reaction! Staff was friendly and knowledgable about celiac disease!
Very knowledgable on making gluten free safe/safer. I ordered gluten free crust and stressed that I have Celiac/gluten allergy. They made my pizza in the walk in cooler, changed their gloves and used fresh toppings from the cooler to avoid cross contamination. AND The gluten free pizza was Amazing!!! Beyond happy with my experience here. Will definitely be back when in the area!!
Great service. Knowledgeable staff!!!!
A gray pizza place and crispy crust. They were very knowledgable and all was good!
Awesome GF pizza!
Most delicious pizza I've had since being diagnosed! Thank you thank you!
Great option for families feeding those with celiac and those without. Everybody was happy!
Pizza was ok. I would say 3 out of 5 stars. One was burnt and very hard to eat. Be sure to say Celiac Disease as they have special prep area.
Dough, sauce and cheese were all great! We ordered all cheese pizzas for takeout and it was fast and friendly. They asked if the GF was medical or preference which I found very impressive (first time a restaurant has done that!) my only mistake was not asking them to distinguish the GF box from others because all looked the same (again first time GF didn't look especially different from regular!) overall wonderful, wish they had one at home, id have a new go-to!
tThey have separate area where they prepare GF pizza and keep toppings separate so semolina flour doesn't contaminate toppings. Asked if I ate GF due to dietary preference or medical reasons so they can prepare accordingly (if don't have celiac, they use toppings they from non GF area). Staff was very nice and no eye rolls. Ate here 2 days in a row with no incidents
Great to get a good GF pizza! My food was prepared on a back room away from glutens... Happy to say I had no bad reaction.
Great g free options and good cross contamination avoidance practices. staff was well educated and trained. Surprisingly had no side effects despite there being a lot of regular pizza flour visible.
They prepare the pizza in the back to avoid cross contamination, which was great. Pizza was good, not great.
Had the lineage pie and it was fantastic. I'm new to eating gluten free and it gets annoying trying to find good places to eat without having reactions. This place is great.
Very knowledgable staff about GF and amazing pizza! Staff was also very nice. Super yummy GF crust!
I have celiac and am very sensitive. I have come to this location many times and never had a problem. When ordering you tell them you want the gluten free crust, and then they will ask “For allergy or preference?” If you have an allergy definitely say allergy, because they will make your order in the back away from all the contaminated toppings. They are always very nice and they understand celiac very well. Me and my sister both have celiac and always enjoy the pizza!!
My son with Celiac hasn’t gotten glutened here after eating here probably 20 times, but my brother has, so just watch your topppings. If you tell them that you have Celiac they will prepare your pizza seaparately to avoid cross contamination. Don’t get the sausage or meatballs even though the ingredient list says they are GF. The other review is wrong - NOT all of the gelatos are Gf.
Gluten free dough is prepared in a separate location. Cooked in aluminum pan in the wood fired oven away from other pizzas. Prepared first and cut in a designated gluten free area of the kitchen. Taste is amazing. Gelato is all gluten free as well. ( I’m new to eating GF, but feel very the staff was very knowledge)
Staff made my gluten free (celiac) pizza in the back to avoid cross contamination. Amazing pizza, no reaction! Salad and gelato were amazing also.
They make the gf pizzas in the back if you tell them it’s an allergy. Very good service and very knowledgeable about gluten free menu.
We were visiting from Minnesota and I saw this place had good reviews so we decided to stop here for dinner. Awesome place. The owner went above and beyond to make sure I didn't get sick. Highly recommend eating here!
Even on a Sunday night with skeleton staff I was well taken care of. As soon as I mentioned Celiac my server took off his gloves and told me he was going to the back to make my pizza completely separately. Great quick service concept, you pick any toppings you like in a Subway style line. I picked my toppings and my server wrote them down and disappeared into the back (they didn’t use the contaminated toppings from the normal line). Delicious and safe!
Staff doesnt understand cross containmentation. Asked for glove change but then the other staff member who had been making wheat pulled crust out of gf box. Asked them to start over. They did but then they put the contaminated dough back in the gluten free box. Used the same marinara as the gluten. They use to be careful and had separate containers.
Safe for celiac. Just wish they would adjust prices down a little. Crazy expensive for a small pizza.
The entire staff is extremely knowledgeable about Gf. If you tell them you have an allergy or Celiac they will make it in the back away from all other gluten pizzas. They use fresh toppings from dedicated gluten free toppings. they know the difference between choosing to be GF and having to be gluten free. The price is amazing for a gf pizza that you can load up on toppings with for no additional charge. No one acts like it’s a inconvenience and I have eaten there many times before and never gotten sick. My fav place now!
If you tell them it’s an allergy, they will prepare the GF pizza separately with fresh toppings from the package, not their contaminated bins up front. Just be careful with the gelato- some of the flavors are GF but they use the same scoop so there is contamination!
Went for lunch today for Valentine’s because I have had good luck twice. Today they literally rolled their eyes when I asked for gluten free. Then the unlucky employee went in the back came back up front and grabbed the brush that they brush all the dough with. Sorry but very big red flag. Was so hopeful that this would be our “go to “ place. Would give them a zero if I could.
I ordered gluten free crust. They immediately asked “preference or allergy,” which I thought was great service. I said allergy, and they prepared mine in the back instead of in the front where all the regular pizza flour is. You can ask them to change gloves and use clean utensils. I ordered the Great White, but learned after the fact that you can add additional toppings for no extra charge. I’m from out of town and this was a nice find in such a small town. The gf crust tasted really good. Follow me on Facebook and Instagram @ Gluten_Is_A_Pain_In_The_Glutes.
I have eaten here several times and really enjoy it. The staff is super friendly and helpful. I have never gotten sick here, and am very excited about the separate cooking space for gluten free customers. My absolute go to for the best gluten free pizza!
They ask if it’s just an intolerance or celiac, so make sure if they don’t and you have celiac that you make it known so they don’t start making it up front! Makes gluten free pizzas separately in the back with different ingredients than the ones used up front, so they don’t use any sauces or toppings that have touched regular dough. It IS cooked in the same oven as everything else, but it’s placed in some kind of pan thing and the top is partially covered also? If that makes any sense. So far there hasn’t been an issue so it’s looking pretty good. Pizza is pretty good also.
The staff here is very knowledgeable about Celiac. I told him I needed gluten free and he immediately took off his apron and gloves, washed his hands, used ingredients from the back that hadn't been contaminated, and it gets cooked in a separate oven. He didn't even hesitate.
Very knowledgeable on allergy information, my son and I each got a gluten free cheese pizza which they went in the back to prepare in a separate safe area. It was the best gluten free pizza we have ever had. Thin crust still but delicious
I despise this location. Their customer service is subpar and they couldn’t care less about food allergies. I found sausage in my Greek salad (I’m a decade long vegetarian and that would have made me horribly ill), and they told me that that just happens sometimes because of leftover toppings on the pie board. So... clean them off? They are a bunch of college kids who are just there to earn a paycheck and nothing more.
Staff makes an attempt to make a GF pizza in a separate kitchen. Found them bringing sauce ( with contaminated ladle) into back to use on my pizza. Ask them to start over. They don't seem to understand the process of cross contamination. Owner would not respond when I reached out. Use caution if celiac
This was the best, GF pizza I’ve had in years. So freaking yummy! Perfect crust and fresh toppings. They can prepare your pizza in the back and bake it in a separate dish to avoid cross contamination, by request. Just let them know your gf needs are due to allergy. This place makes having Celiac feel like a breeze. What a gift to the community.
Let me start by saying that Your Pie is one of my go to places - it's usually safe and the food is good. So when we were on the way to the beach, we decided to stop here for lunch. The guy who took my order was incredibly rude so I was already feeling uncomfortable with it. As I picked up the second to the last piece of pizza, there were random ingredients underneath which weren't on my pizza. Needless to say, I was incredibly sick for the start of our vacation. It took 2 weeks for my symptoms to fully resolve. I will continue to go to Your Pie but I will NEVER go to this location again.
Very good service. They prepare the pizza in the back away from the regular pizzas. The gf pizza was really good
Love love love Your Pie! Best GF pizza in town. They also have amazing hand crafted root beer, gelato, and salads. If you specify you have an allergy, they make your pizza in a separate oven in the back and use new ingredients so you don’t have to worry about cross contamination. The outdoor patio has fun games and is dog-friendly too! :)
I have come twice in the last few weeks and was surprised when they asked me if my gluten allergy was preference or allergy. They prepare the pizzas in the back with a fresh set of ingredients and cook the pizza on a tray to avoid contamination. There were a few ingredients they don’t have prepared in the back and asked if I was okay with it coming from the front, which I did because I’m gluten intolerant and not celiac. They also have gluten free gelato options which I loved. I did not feel sick after eating here and would recommend even for celiacs although you should still take precautions.
I have been to another your pie location, so I initially had no worries when I went to this one. I ended up getting very sick within an hour of eating a regular gf pizza. But I thought maybe it was accidentally cross contaminated, so I gave it another try, and took my gf roommate with me. Sure enough, the next day we both became ill. The employees seemed very understanding of the allergy and told me they knew the preventative procedures, I’m not sure what went wrong, but I know I will not be back here because I do not want to jeopardize my health again.
Upon arrival, I asked the line attendant what the procedure was for gluten-free pizzas, as it is similar to a Moe’s or Subway assembly line. She asked how severe my allergy was and I told her I had Celiac and it would make me very ill if I was cross-contaminated. She then told me she would change gloves, and assemble it in a dedicated area in the back. The price was way better than most GF pizza options in town and the crust was so soft with a decent crust! I was happily surprised and will be back!

"It is possible that there may be trace amounts of flour among our toppings. Our team members would be happy to change their gloves and build your pizza in a separate prep area in the back upon request if you are allergic to gluten. Gluten-free pizzas are baked in an aluminum tray to promote easy identification and reduced gluten contact. However, since we do work around flour all day and ALL pizzas are baked in the same oven, we can not guarantee that trace particles of flour and/or gluten are not in and around gluten-free items."
