Gluten-Free at Harvest Seasonal Grill

September 6, 2024- Excellent experience. Had the salmon meal with a side beet salad and the Asian cauliflower appetizer. Food is marked for allergy when it arrives and staff is extremely knowledgeable about food allergies and cross-contamination. I did NOT get sick after eating here!

July 18, 2019- dinner. Excellent GF meal. Had pulled pork flat bread and lemon thyme chicken. Both server and manager were excellent with GF food prep and cross-contamination. Definitely reccomend.

They seemed knowledgeable and had lots of good options for adults and kids. Fried are baked so no fryer issue. A little more expensive but felt very safe and meal was great.

A friend and I went here for my birthday. I am a celiac and do not eat out. I'm too scared. The manager heard us talking to the hostess and stepped right in saying, they change gloves, use separate pans, knives. Our waitress will flag our ticket. You're safe with us. They do not fry anything here. The waitress was so caring, understood my fears and she had the head chef come out and speak to me. He wanted to hear from me exactly what I could not eat and asked if I was allergic to anything at all on top of the celiac. During our meal the manager would come over to check on us. I got a decaf cappuccino after our meal, but for my meal I ordered the Thai Shrimp salad and Grass Fed Burger. You can sub a side for an upcharge if you do not want the side salad that comes with the burger. They do use a GF roll, I decided not to have a roll ( personal choice). They also gave my friend and I free dessert. Birthday celebration. I think if you're like me and do not trust any kitchen but your own and finally decide to go out, I would try here. They do use canola oil to pan fry the shrimp, next time I'd ask for ghee and olive oil. I'm trying to not eat seed oils. I was too nervous and forgot to ask. The lighting was dim. You don't have to dress up. ( You can if you wish to) It was clean and they have an open style kitchen. The menu is seasonal.

Wow- what a great find! We are from out of town, but came here with my family and was so excited to see all the healthy gluten free options. I had the chicken BLT on GF naan bread. Not sure when the last time I had naan bread was but it was amazing. Also had the salted caramel mousse dessert. Bonus was my server was also GF and gave advice on her favorite dishes. I didn’t get sick at all and I am super sensitive to cross contamination. Next time I am in Pennsylvania, I am definitely coming back!

Fantastic from beginning to end. We were welcomed by friendly faces at the door and immediately seated. Our server, Anthony, knew about celiac and was able to answer my questions. They do not have a dedicated gf kitchen, but were able to discuss choices that would avoid cross contamination. The crab cakes were excellent and if you like mashed potatoes, the side was piping hot and silky smooth. I am marking them $$$ but I did get one of the more expensive items. They also have a Sunday brunch.

I frequented Harvest regularly because of their fresh food, local support and attention to allergies, I have really bad Celiac disease. I was there last evening and ate their gluten free Mac and cheese. I always let my waiter know about my severe allergy. At the bottom of my Mac and cheese was 2 noodles that were different, after notifying the waitress, the different noodles were gluten. Not sure how this happened, they did comp my meal but my physical suffering is immense. Use caution even when they say they take allergies seriously, I used to feel really safe to eat here.

Excellent experience! Our waitress, Olivia, was wonderful! Super knowledgeable about all the menu options and gluten free things! Seasonal menu, so it changes but we were there for the summer menu. We loved the Mexican corn flat bread, the kung pao cauliflower, the mac n cheese, the salmon BLT, the sesame chicken, and the desserts (all gluten free!)! I also had a sangria flight which was excellent.

Great GF selection, even for kids! Definitely a little pricier, but the food is delicious and I'd rather spend a little more and feel safe. Server was great and explained their whole process for allergy orders. They have a special colored ticket and the managers have to sign off on the order. Staff seems well-trained and food comes out marked it an allergy toothpick.

The food was so good, everything was perfectly cooked and we ate soo much. Another wonderful experience at Harvest Seasonal Grill. My wife has celiac, and it takes minimal cross-contamination for her to become ill. Today was the fifth or sixth time we have frequented this fine establishment and had a wonderful safe meal. The staff is excellent in making sure you are safe. The meal was magnificent. I love eating at Harvest because the first thing the servers ask you is if you have any food allergies! They have specific gluten free items on the menu but can also modify dishes to accommodate allergies. We went for brunch and I had my heart set on one of their eggs benedict options which were not gluten free. The chef made me a special version using their gluten free bread and also made my side caesar salad without any gluten or nuts (my other allergy). I also got an amazing gluten free asparagus soup with an oat milk base which was really good! We also tried the gluten free chive biscuits in gravy that come with breakfast potatoes. All of our food had little flags to show that there were allergies so I feel like they are very careful about safety here. I ended up getting a side of the biscuits to take home because they were so good! Also had leftovers from the meal because the portions are very generous. Definitely my go to brunch spot for the weekend!

Food was decent, I didn't get sick, and server inquired about allergens. Staff didn't seem entirely sure about cross contact. I wanted to order the kung pao cauliflower wings appetizer, which are labeled GF. I asked if they were safe from cross contact and was told yes, so I ordered. But then I asked some follow up questions about the prep space when ordering my entree and found out that the cauliflower wings (and all oven made GF menu items) share the same oven as all the gluten containing flat breads. So definitely double check before ordering! I ended up not eating those, but instead had the plant based pad Thai and house red wine and didn't have any reaction.

What a great experience here! We went here because my daughter’s team was having a dinner after a sports tournament. My daughter has celiac and there were so many options. The little pizza even came out gluten free (the person coordinating from our group was an angel to ensure a lot of this). When it was time for dessert and the server was bringing around the selections I asked her if they happened to have any gluten free choices because the choices sounded like they couldn’t be gluten free. She told me they were all gluten free. I’m not sure the last time I felt so happy at a restaurant … that my daughter could choose anything she wanted. Highly recommend!

The food was just ok. I was pretty disappointed in the flavor. Almost everything on the menu was naturally gluten free or could be made gluten free so that part wasn’t great! The server we had was knowledgeable of everything I needed to swap. The server was also just fantastic in general. He even asked if there were any allergies he needed to be aware of, which for me is a plus because I always find it awkward to bring up. Overall I felt like the food wasn’t worth what I paid, but the experience was great

This is my favorite restaurant. The staff are exceptionally knowledgeable in gluten free, I can have most menu items since they are already GF or can be made GF. I had my choice of 8 different desserts last evening. That’s 8 more than I usually get. I had the cedar plank salmon and it was delicious. Followed by a peanut butter mousse over flourless chocolate cake. My gluten eating husband was totally impressed with the menu and the food. This was his first time there. The meals never look or taste like something that had to be altered or diminished to make it GF. It is just fresh, and delicious.

Everything about this place was great. We were told that they only carry gluten free flour and ingredients, all glutinous items are purchased as is so there was limited concern for cross contamination. I really enjoy this place. All the servers I’ve been with have been knowledgeable about celiacs and all plates come out with an allergy flag which helps to reassure me. The desserts also have been transitioned to fully gluten free which is great!

I work here and I can say harvest is very safe and understanding about cross contamination. The pizza is on a separate plate, separate space on the grill, no fryer etc. Everything is marked and servers are knowledgeable about gluten. Would recommend!!

Lots of options! Almost the entire menu can be made gf. All delicious and fresh! Most of their desserts are gf as well.

Excellent food options on the menu. We ordered the cauliflower “wings,” a margarita flatbread, and an autumn chicken flatbread — they were to die for! Light and fluffy crust and good flavor all around. Food came out with “allergy” markings.
