Like others have said the menu is all gluten free, except they do make regular pizza dough too. They used a dedicated baking stone for gf pizza. It was delicious! Soft and chewy, closest to a real pizza I’ve had in forever! The vegan cheese was nice and melty too! Kind of expensive, but worth it for the experience.
Excellent Gf pizza and they have non-dairy cheese. I am not sure about cross contamination.
This place is amazing! It was the first time I had cheese bread in almost a decade and it did not disappoint! We live in CO, but come to AZ for hockey tournaments and we always make sure we eat here a few times while we’re in town. I’ve never gotten sick and the food is so good. Highly recommend!
So many choices! 99.9% of their menu is gluten free and they have a vegan menu as well. My husband, who isn’t gluten sensitive, said that he could eat there all the time. Our only complaint is the food wasn’t spiced enough for our taste but with a little extra salt, it was delicious!! It is a healthy kitchen, says it in the name, so I think that’s why they stay away from too much salt. I would definitely go back when we come back to Arizona.
Amazing gf Italian restaurant! The only gluten in the restaurant is beer and select pizza crusts (cooked completely separately). My favorites are the cheesy bread with marinara and the salami & hot honey gf pizza. Also the gf tiramisu is INCREDIBLE. Plenty of df and vegan options as well!
We stopped here on the way to Grand Canyon. They have broad options that are gf including pasta, pizza, salads, starters. We had gf pizza with the original gf crust, it was good, Mediterranean salad, it was very good, gluten pizza puttanesca (Bianca), it was also very good and pizza Napoli, overall the selection is impressive, everyone was satisfied. The staff is very friendly and nice too. It’s moderately priced, salad was $16, pizza $20
Dedicated space for gluten-free food preparation. Ordered pepperoni pizza with a gluten free crust, Italian salad, cheesy bread, hot wings, and a gluten free kid's pizza. Nothing was left by the time our party of 3 left. Server check to make sure he knew what our tables allergies were. Almost ALL items on the menu are gluten free. 😋
I usually love eating here and feel absolutely safe with their gluten free experience. However, This last visit took over an hour to get our food, inattentive service (didnt check on us once), and we were not able to order dessert because the kitchen closed (we waited so long!) Also, if you have peanut allergy, be careful. I ended up with an allergic reaction (moderate) even though my dish shouldn't have had any peanuts. Not sure what happened, but just be careful if you come to this location. The other location was much more attentive, friendly, and caring.
My husband and I go here all the time and love it! This location in particular attracts a lot of the older demographics from Paradise Valley, but we don't mind. Their GF pizza crust is reasonably fluffy, their GF pasta is great, their zoodles are great, and their GF focaccia is amazing! Really no complaints. We go in-person and order takeout all the time and they are super knowledgeable about celiac and how to keep food safe. Never had any issues!
A very nice experience, the service was good and the place is great if you have multiple dietary restrictions. Everything on the menu is GF except for the pizza, however they have a GF pizza crust cooked in a dedicated stone pizza oven. When we ordered the server also double checked with us to verify that celiac was the only dietary restriction. My biggest complaint was that while all the food was very good, none of it was that flavorful. Additionally, we tried the chopped kale salad and the ceasar salad which were not good. However, the GF bread was amazing, which extends to their pizza crust. Also, the skillet cookie with gelato was absolutely delicious. Overall a good experience.
TLDR: Regular GF crust not my favorite but still delicious. Plenty of DF/vegan options. Majority of the menu is marked NOT GF, but GF items are clearly marked and the staff are obviously well trained for allergies.
I was really impressed by this restaurant. They advertise GF on their signage and to-go boxes. The menu clearly indicates what is GF and even states they have a separate pizza oven. I didn't ask any questions or request my order to be submitted as an allergy because of that and the other reviews. I was not disappointed.
There are a number of GF options as well as an entire vegan menu (which I can appreciate having an egg yolk allergy and a dairy sensitivity). I got the pizza with salami, fig, and hot honey on the regular GF pizza crust. The middle of the crust was light and fluffy and so good! Only 4 stars for taste because the outside rim of the pie was very thin and kinda hard. It wasn't burnt, but I didn't like the texture. I didn't eat most of it. But it was excellent otherwise!
No upcharge for the GF crust. I did ask about vegan cheese... It was only $1 extra which isn't bad at all. Most dessert options were GF. I got the tiramisu which was amazing! 5/5 stars. So good.
ABSOLUTELY STELLAR!!!! they have a regular menus with literally everything gluten free (aside from the regular pizza crust- but they do have a gf crust) and a whole vegan menu. the staff is educated and have knowledge about cross contamination and what it means to be celiac! highly highly highly recommend!!!!
My go-to restaurant and date place. I’ve eaten at a few other locations too. I’ve ordered gluten free pizza with no issues as well as many other dishes. Great place for vegan dishes as well and they’ve accommodated my GERD diet as well with substitutions. There’s even dessert!!
Everything is gluten free except the regular pizza crust but there is gluten free crust as well.
Only complaint is it can take a while for food to arrive. This applies for all locations I’ve been to. Always worth it for me though.
This is by far the best gluten free Italian restaurant I’ve ever found. I love that they also offer some vegan options in case you are dairy or egg free. They are also free from soy. And I have found that to be hard to find in the restaurant world especially if they are gluten free. Wonderful customer service as well. The atmosphere is joyful and peaceful. Also they have gluten free deserts, including apple crisp 🥰
My favorite restaurant in Sedona! I am gluten free and dairy free, and I was so excited to find a pizza I could eat. I’ve also tried the chicken piccata and focaccia bread on other visits. Amazing food! My husband who is not gf df also loves this restaurant. I highly recommend!!
This was such a great experience to have the whole menu dedicated to gluten free meals. Our child didn’t feel disappointed that a menu item was not available. The kitchen does have the option to get a non-gluten free pizza so it’s not considered a 100 % dedicated establishment. Would return if back in the area.
What a gem!!! Always excellentfood, service and environment. GF friends, this place is da bomb!!
This place is awesome! Lovely staff, great food, and seemingly endless options. We had several dishes, and all of them were wonderful. The pasta tastes and feels perfect, the pizza crust is light and not reminiscent of cardboard at all, the croutons are crunchy and flavorful, and the desserts are phenomenal. They have gf breaded chicken, which is definitely a first for me, but I have no bad reviews of it. Virtually everything is either already gf or can be made so. I think the only gluten may be in one option for the pizza, but it’s fully separated and everything is marked. I’m really not sure if there are any other gluten items on the menu. Five stars!
Was super happy to go to a safe restaurant with everything being a GF choice (including dessert!!) I got the GF pizza and the dough wasn't my favorite, I'll have to try the pasta next time. I went with my friend who has a dairy allergy and they had a whole vegan menu for her too!
