Have been multiple times. Many items marked gluten free on the menu. They do a great job to avoid cross contamination.
Very good food as well.

I’ve eaten here twice since my diagnosis. Both burgers were delicious and I felt great afterward. Server was knowledgeable and I enjoyed my gf drinks.

I asked for the GF quesidilla, it was brought out as a regular. I asked to make sure it was the gluten free and they assured me it was, I had to ask a second time before the chef confirmed it was not gluten free. It took another 20 minutes for the gluten free version to come back out.

Ordered the delicious Bacon Burger on a gluten-free bun that held up well. No separate fryer, so I substituted mashed potatoes that were nothing special. Great service and atmostphere.

Food was just OK. Definitely not worth my wife getting sick from the one time we ate here. She requested Gluten free but she had a strong reaction anyway. She is celiac, so especially sensitive to gluten, but we won't be back.

The food here is decent & I have never had a reaction. However, I stopped going due to the suspicious price increase. Example: A gluten free double nickel salad costs more than the regular despite it being the same thing (minus the GF having no Bleu cheese). This is unethical IMHO.

I always get the GF quesadillas and have never had a problem. They are delicious and they are very careful about cross contamination.
I have never had any issues at this restaurant. They seem to be very knowledgeable on being GF. I always get the GF quesadillas and they're great!

It’s a bar food restaurant, so you better not set your expectations at “gourmet.” That said, this is a great place to grab dinner. I generally get a hamburger w/ mashed potatoes on the side. I’ve never been cross contaminated, yet. You need to ask for a gluten free menu, since it’s separate from the regular menu. No frills, but tastes great.
Yes
Very good options. I had a yummy quesadilla and a bucket of steamed shrimp.
Yes
Have eaten here a couple of times and I feel like they take gluten free seriously. Have a separate gluten free menu with some good variety. I have had the bacon burger and the blackened fish tacos and both were good. Also really good gluten free cheesecake for dessert!
Yes
There was an entire separate GF menu - including GF beer. I had the quesadilla (with corn tortilla) - SUPER good, and the bacon BBQ burger. The GF bun was alright - held its shape pretty well. Appreciated the GF beer since I’m not a fan of cider.
Great experience! They have gluten free cheesecake!
While they have a gluten free menu, I am also corn free. They didn’t seem to l ow how to handle that and my meal had corn in it somewhere because I had a reaction. Our waitress was great but it took 30 minutes for appetizers and then the rest of the meal came out cold and incorrect
Got sick not safe to eat here!!

They have a special gluten free menu available on request. No separate fryer, so be careful with that.
Yes
Great GF options. Have to ask for GF menu, staff is very knowledgable. We all had the bucket of shrimp, quesadilla burger with mashed potatoes and cheesecake for dessert. No reaction at all. I recommend making reservations as it does get very crowded

Ordered citrus salmon, broccoli and mashers and had no reaction. Service was phenomenal.

The food is decent but I’m not a huge fan of the bun. I’m not marking celiac friendly because I had one small bite of the rice and was sure there was pasta. I wasn’t feeling great but I’m not sure why that was. It could have been many things.
I have celiac and this place is great! There used to be less options but now they have a pretty big menu and they even have gluten free buns! Definitely a go-to if you want to go out to dinner in New Albany for a more reasonable price.
Yes
Dedicated gluten free menu with many options. Burgers with gluten free buns, tacos, salads, pasta, quesadillas. Server brought out a card to sign and note that I had celiac/note any allergy to give to the chef.
Have eaten here 3 times with no issues! Gluten free bun, and Mashers as my side!
Yes
They have an entire gluten free menu and the servers are very knowledgeable about the food. You can’t eat fries at any of their locations, but they have tons of other side.
Yes
The food was great and the servers were knowledgeable about how to handle the food to make sure cross contamination wasn’t an issue. I tried three different entrees and my Nima tests came up negative for gluten on all three food items. Definitely recommend!
Yes
Definitely celiac friendly, have eaten there a bunch without issue. Burgers, pasta and the like have all treated me well!

The last time I ate at a Rusty Bucket, I had a gluten free burger and broccoli, I ended up getting sick, I’m assuming from the burger, I wonder if they put other things on the grill.
No
I came here without any prior research (on a business lunch) and figured it would be the dry salad for me...I was pleasantly surprised that they had a decent GF menu. I had the fish tacos. They were good. Not great, not excellent...just good. But, it was nice to eat something other than a salad.
Yes
Very good food, several gluten free options. Staff makes sure the cooks are aware of your allergy.
Good burger and sweet potato fries. Server was knowledgeable and nice.
Yes
Gf bun for burgers. They have updated their menu over the years
Yes
Large GF menu. Not a dedicated facility. Burger came with gf bun. Broccoli was brown and appeared to be spoiled. Food tasted ok but did not sit well with anyone in our party, even no gf people.
The food was amazing, service was wonderful & I'm not feeling gluten belly! highly recommend
several gf entrees and sides plus gf cheesecake.we had burgers and gf buns were large, soft and yummy.
I got really sick here, even though I alerted the waitress of being gluten free and ordered a salad with grilled meat that should have been gluten free anyways. Won’t be returning. 2 stars because even though I got sick, the salad *was* good.

Staff is awesome. I have eaten here twice and had no issues. I had pasta the first time and quesadilla the second. It’s good pub style food, I would def go back. ❤

They have a separate GF menu with more choices than most restaurants. They served my food separately and noted it was GF.

Stopped here on our way back home. I was excited for a place with such an extensive GF menu. I ordered the bucket of shrimp and the double stacked quesadilla. The shrimp was great and they even had woodchuck cider, however, our waitress was terrible. Our drinks and food all came at the same time. She explained that she had been very busy with a larger party and apologized. No biggie. I was about to eat a piece of quesadilla, when I noticed it looked A LOT like a flour tortilla and not corn. Luckily, I had my Nima Sensor with me and tested it. Sure enough it came back "gluten detected" . I had planned to just send it back and have it remade because, hey mistakes happen. However, our waitress did not come back to check on us for another 15-20 minutes! At this point I was irritated. I wanted to get cheesecake to go but when I calmly explained to her what happened and how it would have made me very sick, she rudely brushed it off and said "well we have this item on our normal menu and they must have grabbed the wrong one, so they could just remake it." I explained to her that we were traveling and didn't have time to wait since we had been there close to an hour for a party of 2 in a restaurant that wasn't a quarter full and would just like it removed from our bill. Left without cheese cake and opted for Menchie's fro yo a few doors down. No manager came to apologize. In summary, the employees that I experienced had no regard for my safety and did not care about my satisfaction. If you have celiac disease, eat here with caution.
Don't go here. They have a gluten free menu but cross contaminate. Twice have I been eating gluten free noodles and found a gluten noodle in with it. I only went back from it happening the first time because the manager said he took it very seriously and would talk to the chefs which obviously, not the case
No
The bucket now has GF buns for burgers, and a new GF cheesecake. Both are excellent!!

They have a good variety of GF food options and are careful not to contaminate. We eat here often and have never had an issue
