All their food is gluten free besides the Pita bread! They change gloves when you say you have celiacs and they also have a gluten free pita bread that they heat up inside of aluminium foil!

One of our go to places. They recently updated the menu so all of the toppings are gluten free to help eliminate cross-contact. They also do have GF pitas, which they heat up wrapped in foil. The regular pitas come wrapped in plastic so they can safely grab them. Delicious and I have never gotten sick!

Everything is Gluten-Free-hurrah! Fantastic gluten free pitas, Mediterranean rice bowls(or cauliflower rice bowl)I chose the make-your-own bowl and chose lots of cool toppings like spicy steak, feta cheese, beets, olives, dill yogurt dressing and rainbow veggies on top…it tasted great. The gluten-free falafel was melt-in-your-mouth tasty! I highly recommend this place-fun neighborhood vibe, at this location they were especially super, super friendly!

When I asked what I could eat, they told me everything except the pita was gluten free, and that they could give me GF pita if I wanted it.

I was told everything was gluten free except the pita and dessert. I didn’t get sick and it was a decent meal for the price.

Great for a celiac safe lunch on the go! I wish I had a Roti location near home because it’s such a treat to have a wide selection of vegetable-based dishes to combine into a bowl.

Ask for manager. Very helpful and knowledgeable, and I enjoyed a meal without reservations!
Good spot for quick Mediterranean. Used to have GF pita but I don’t think they do. Most of the menu is GF. Will change gloves and wash hands when asked.

1st employee didn’t change gloves or know about gf, but 2nd employee was able to help and explain. Had the rice bowl with falafel and lots of toppings. Couscous is the only non gf option.
The staff were aware of allergies and took care to prepare food separately. They also have GF pitas, but they were so dry I could not eat it. The food in general was just okay, but since they were so great with allergies I was happy
Tasty and satisfying- nice service. GF pita bread was delicious!
Pretty good food. Many gf options. The staff was aware that some couscous had dropped into the hummus next to it. Her next steps were a bit questionable but I went with it and didnt get sick. She got a new spoon and scooped some hummus from the very back of the container rather than pulling from an entirely new container. I would go back again for sure.

Delicious. So many dairy free choices as well as GF.
I’ve eaten here many times and never had an issue! Great food and all GF options are marked. Plus they have GF PITA BREAD!!!

Staff was knowledgeable. When I mentioned I wanted a gf pita he immediately asked for allergy or preference. He knew what I needed to stay away from. Would go back. Didn’t get a stomach ache unlike when I go to Chipotle

Excellent flavor, patient staff explaining what I could and could not have (most was a “could!), staff followed great safety procedures and washed hands and changed gloves. Food was amazing. I have additional allergies and could still eat here. Best falafel I have ever had.
Going in, I was worried about cross contamination from the couscous on the line and all the pita the staff handle, so I told them I had a bad gluten allergy and asked if I could get ingredients from the back that hadn't been exposed to gluten yet. The manager was very kind and knowledgeable: she washed her hands, changed her gloves, gave me a bowl from the middle of the stack instead of the top where it might have gotten exposed, and was the only one who handled my food start to finish. I got the signature rice plate, which has all gf ingredients: rice, chicken kebab, hummus, tomato and cucumber salad, roasted veggies, and roasted red pepper sauce. They didn't have any tomato and cucumber salad that hadn't been exposed yet, so the manager offered me double veggies instead...fine by me!
I will say it was celiac friendly, if you know what to ask for. Delicious, healthy, filling, no reaction! Overall, a great place to stop for lunch in DC!

Super tasty if you like Middle Eastern food. It’s kinda like a Mediterranean Chipotle. You can walk down the line of meats and starches and sides and pick what you want. They not only tell you what’s GF right on the menu, their servers know the whole routine of wiping everything down and changing gloves before serving you. I’m sure there are a few ways some cross contamination could creep in, but I am a Celiac and had zero issues with my lunch when I visited. I will go back again.

The food was good. When choosing ingredients of bowl/salad be cautious—some couscous had fallen into the hummus so I couldn’t get that. Overall, not bad.
They have gf pita bread which they cook in foil. The woman changed her cloves (without me even asking) and followed me down the line. The toppings are labeled gf. I got a gf pita with chicken roti, veggies and some other yummy stuff :) UPDATE: second time I went I got a salad that was already labeled gf, and I found COus cous in my salad. It seems to be safe if you get the pita, but not just a regular salad.
Best fast food I have ever had! Healthy food with so many gluten free options and some dairy free, vegan, & vegetarian options too. Staff were great and if unsure they brought the manager out.

Servers were helpful and GF items clearly labeled. Serving style is chipotle-like, so there would be a possibility of cross-contamination if utensils were shared, but they were assuring that utensils for each topping was dedicated. Food was tasty and no gluten sickness.

Tons of gluten free options and combinations - only things with gluten on the menu are pita and couscous. Everything else you are good!
All gluten free options are clearly marked. Workers are glad to switch to clean gloves for you and they have a delicious gluten free pita.

While this Roti is very clean and staff are so nice and efficient, there is an ongoing issue with couscous mixing in with the other sides. As I am only gluten intolerant and not celiac, I can tolerate a few mixed in pieces of couscous. But this would make a celiac very ill I’m aware. I don’t understand this either as simply just rearranging the order of the sides and making couscous the last item could rectify this issue. Management please take note the seriousness of this problem.

This place was amazing. I am Celiac and I had no issues. Delicious food. I did stay away from the options that were located next to the couscous though. Highly recommend!
This Roti is decent but the one on Fst is the best. Separate area for all the toppings! I've never had any cc issues.

Love this Mediterranean restaurant chain. Selections are labeled to make it easy. Generous servings as well!

This is a fast casual Mediterranean spot with delicious food! Fresh, healthy, and tons of gluten free options. The only thing that does have gluten on their menu is the couscous and pita, and they offer a gluten free pita as well. Absolutely recommend!

Order: rice based with falafel and topping bar Review: a little skeptical on some of the cross contamination aspect because of the create-your-own style, tasty food and GF and veggie marked items
Not celiac safe. Staff was knowledgeable but unfortunately I got sick.

Staff was very knowledgeable, but unfortunately not celiac safe. I got sick after eating here.
No
Not celiac safe. I have eaten at other Roti locations and have been ok. While I was waiting I saw them making a pita wrap for the people in front of me. They touched the pita wrap and then touched spoon for the cucumber and tomato salad and squeezed the extra juice back into the container with the hand they had just touched the pita with. Not safe at all for those of us with celiac. I walked out and didn’t order food.
No
Not very clean saw them touching things containing gluten and then going for the products that were gluten-free my daughter has celiac and my husband this place would be very dangerous I don’t even think it was clean I walked out after walking in and just looking at what the place look like upsetting I don’t know how anybody could give it a good review. Second morning went over to the place again dirty dirty dirty and not celiac friendly cross-contamination everywhere they shouldn’t even have gluten-free pitas because nothing else is in there not doing it safely they need to get retrained
No
The service really disappointed. The employee that had to help me was really rude, she did not almost want to help me. I won’t go there anymore.

Really nice place to eat if you suffer allergies. Staff changed gloves and brought out fresh unopened food to make my delusions platter 100% GF. Staff & food were 5-⭐.

Lots of options - I got the salad with grass-fed beef, tahini, red cabbage slaw, roasted veggies, pickled onions and hummus. I love all the healthy Mediterranean choices here and everything is labeled.
I had a bad experience here. Bad customer service and I was given attitude. They have a GF menu but uneducated staff. They made me feel like I was a burden for wanting my food to be safe. Anyone who says it’s celiac safe has not watched how their serving utensils touch other people’s toxic flour tortillas then goes back into the food before they serve you. Cross contamination all over this place. I left upset without eating here. But it would be fine for those who are not celiac.

A design-your-own dish restaurant, with a lot of options. Most of the ingredients are GF, and are clearly marked as such. I had a rice bowl with chicken shishkebab and tzatziki sauce; very tasty! I recommend it.

Fast food type of place. Staff was very knowledgeable about celiac and cross contamination. I was warned not to choose a certain item because it was next to a gluten dish. Rice bowl with chicken shish kabob was delicious and I had no reaction.

Everything is marked clearly as to whether it is gluten free or not. They’ve got salad and rice bowls to put the protein with. And the falafel was GF and delicious!!!
