Love the food they had a gluten free pita and falafel which I hadn’t had in years. I was so excited and they did not disappoint. They told me all of their food except the non gluten free pita was gluten free though I would still ask just to make sure.

gluten free and clean eating dream! I’m wheat intolerant and they informed me that I most likely only need to avoid the chickpea salad and the pita bread (obviously).

They have gluten free Items listed! Food is amazing. Cross-Contamination is possible. They have GF pita bread! But beware that getting regular pita bread is likely if ordered for delivery, especially if you ask for no pita bread. I suggest going in and taking out!

Grabbed takeout here and it did not disappoint. I visited about 1 hr before closing so they were out of a few ingredients, but portions were huge and I felt safe.

This restaurant is like Chipotle for Mediterranean food. There is only one item on the menu with gluten, pita bread. Quick and yummy.

I have celiac and my wife is gluten intolerant. We shared the falafel appetizer and the harissa chicken bowl. The staff seemed very knowledgeable about gluten free service and foods. They do not have a separate gluten free prep area and their food is arranged cafeteria style, but they prepare your bowl. The food was very tasty and I felt it was a safe place to eat because the staff appears very conscious about cross contamination.

They do have a gluten free pita! It’s dry and crumbly though, and if I go again I would just opt for a rice bowl instead. They will change gloves on request, but as others have mentioned there’s a high cross contamination risk from utensils touching floury wheat pitas then going back into the food. Not safe for Celiac.
The in store menu isn’t labeled for allergens, so use the website menu for gluten free items. The roti chicken is delicious, as are the gluten free falafel! I’d honestly go back just for the falafel and yogurt sauce.

First time eating at this location. They didn’t seem as sure of what all was gf as the Union Station location (at Union Station they have told me a few times that the couscous is not gf but this location didn’t tell me that. If you do t already know that couscous is not gf, you could accidentally eat it and be glutened. While most of us already know that couscous isn’t safe, the workers should still tell you that in my opinion). They will change their gloves, but this location seemed more fertile ground for cross contamination than the Union Station location.
The food is good. I didn’t get sick. I would eat at this location again if I was near it. I just wish this location adopted the more celiac friendly policies of other locations.

We really enjoy Roti for the ability to build your own bowl and get just what you want. Most everything is gf, but there are some exceptions. My daughter built her bowl and the last step was sauces and she wanted to try the avocado tahini. Ok, so odd - the regular tahini is gluten free but not the avocado tahini. I forgot to check to make sure it was gluten free before they poured it. They were very gracious and made my kiddo a new bowl. They also have gf pita. Everything was super fresh and really tasty. We have eaten here for years and no problems.

Almost everything is gluten-free here, even the couscous. Only the pitas are containing gluten and are prepared separately (no GF option unfortunately). Got a harissa chicken bowl with rice here, which tasted great. Extremely sensitive to gluten, did not get sick!

Quick, fresh and delicious bowls. The only item I couldn’t have was the pita. Create your own bowls with rice or salad base, add protein, toppings and dressing. Highly recommend.

I wanted Greek food and I couldn’t find anything gluten free friendly. I came across rōti Mediterranean and they had gluten free pita. My family and I had the pita wrap with a side of hummus. Honestly the food was not bad. I was very pleased to find Greek food with gluten free pita.

Sadly we’ve had issues twice and won’t be going anymore. We suspect there may be gluten hidden in a seasoning, as we’ve had issues when we are the first customers right at open I try to eliminate cc risk.

Online Menu is clear that Pitas contain wheat!! You can filter menu for gluten free, vegan, dairy free, etc, which is really awesome. Looking forward to trying it, but please note everything is NOT gluten free.
i enjoy coming here for an afternoon meal! it’s easy, quick, and gluten free

I have been going to roti for years because they had always had gluten free however we found out they had just changed their menu within the past week and is now clearly not safe for celiacs. This is for all roti’s. If you are a celiac please be careful if or when you go to eat there. I know I will not be eating there any time soon.

After frequenting this restaurant for years for my daughter- Roti changed their menu and now has gluten containing products on their line and cannot guarantee gluten free. We chose not to eat here.

Such a great experience here. The servers were super knowledgeable and pointed out all of the gluten containing items. My daughter loved her gluten free pita and her rice bowl. And I had by far the best street pita I have ever had (I eat gluten, but they could have easily done it gluten free). Definitely earned its 5 stars :)

I felt very safe eating here! The whole line is gluten free and they put all the ingredients in individual bowls to toss and put in pita at the end which reduces chances of cross contamination. The gluten free pita wasn’t great but it isn’t contaminated in the cooking or heating process. Will be coming back for a bowl soon.

One of our go to places. They recently updated the menu so all of the toppings are gluten free to help eliminate cross-contact. They also do have GF pitas, which they heat up wrapped in foil. The regular pitas come wrapped in plastic so they can safely grab them. Delicious and I have never gotten sick!

Everything is Gluten-Free-hurrah! Fantastic gluten free pitas, Mediterranean rice bowls(or cauliflower rice bowl)I chose the make-your-own bowl and chose lots of cool toppings like spicy steak, feta cheese, beets, olives, dill yogurt dressing and rainbow veggies on top…it tasted great. The gluten-free falafel was melt-in-your-mouth tasty! I highly recommend this place-fun neighborhood vibe, at this location they were especially super, super friendly!

1st employee didn’t change gloves or know about gf, but 2nd employee was able to help and explain. Had the rice bowl with falafel and lots of toppings. Couscous is the only non gf option.
The staff were aware of allergies and took care to prepare food separately. They also have GF pitas, but they were so dry I could not eat it. The food in general was just okay, but since they were so great with allergies I was happy
Tasty and satisfying- nice service. GF pita bread was delicious!
Pretty good food. Many gf options. The staff was aware that some couscous had dropped into the hummus next to it. Her next steps were a bit questionable but I went with it and didnt get sick. She got a new spoon and scooped some hummus from the very back of the container rather than pulling from an entirely new container. I would go back again for sure.

Delicious. So many dairy free choices as well as GF.
I’ve eaten here many times and never had an issue! Great food and all GF options are marked. Plus they have GF PITA BREAD!!!

Staff was knowledgeable. When I mentioned I wanted a gf pita he immediately asked for allergy or preference. He knew what I needed to stay away from. Would go back. Didn’t get a stomach ache unlike when I go to Chipotle
Yes
Excellent flavor, patient staff explaining what I could and could not have (most was a “could!), staff followed great safety procedures and washed hands and changed gloves. Food was amazing. I have additional allergies and could still eat here. Best falafel I have ever had.
Going in, I was worried about cross contamination from the couscous on the line and all the pita the staff handle, so I told them I had a bad gluten allergy and asked if I could get ingredients from the back that hadn't been exposed to gluten yet. The manager was very kind and knowledgeable: she washed her hands, changed her gloves, gave me a bowl from the middle of the stack instead of the top where it might have gotten exposed, and was the only one who handled my food start to finish. I got the signature rice plate, which has all gf ingredients: rice, chicken kebab, hummus, tomato and cucumber salad, roasted veggies, and roasted red pepper sauce. They didn't have any tomato and cucumber salad that hadn't been exposed yet, so the manager offered me double veggies instead...fine by me!
I will say it was celiac friendly, if you know what to ask for. Delicious, healthy, filling, no reaction! Overall, a great place to stop for lunch in DC!
