Always my favorite stop in Portland! Super knowledgeable staff with ALL food allergies , all sauces are Vegan as well. Eating here has always been such experience.

I’ve eaten here many times and never gotten sick. I follow their gluten free menu recommendations and also alert the staff that I have celiac disease when ordering. The staff always seems knowledgeable and helpful.

It was quick, affordable, gluten free (with ability to be dairy free as well), delicious, and healthy!

I have Celias and have eaten at Cafe Yumm several times in the past few months since moving to the area and have had no gluten reactions! I feel it’s a good GF option.

Manager was very well aware of celiac and had folks change gloves, etc. food is well marked, good and portion sizes are fine for what I wanted. More important it was very tasty!

Simple rice and beans bowls plus add-on. Nothing spectacular but did the trick especially with nothing else GF friendly within sight.

I had their original rice bowl, which was quite tasty. The service was friendly and relaxed. The only disappointing thing was that the awesome looking cookies, half dipped in chocolate, are not GF. This is a good place for a quick rice bowl lunch; with a variety of options if you are with a large group of people.

I absolutely love Cafe Yumm! When my celiac family and I order, we make sure to tell the servers we have a gluten allergy, which means they follow a special protocol against cross-contamination. The food is yummy and we haven’t gotten sick. We’d recommend the Hot and Jazzy bowl!

Ask and they will show you a gluten free menu! Server was knowledgeable about allergies and assured me the kitchen would change their gloves, etc.

The cashier lied to me when I asked if everything was gluten free. She simply stated “yes” which should have been my warning. I will accept some blame for being naive. This was my first trip to Seattle and the excitement of having gluten free options kind of had me being too trusting with trying new places. I thought I had read that this place was 100%. They are not. The cashier even told me the wraps were gluten free so that is what I ordered. THE WRAPS ARE NOT GLUTEN FREE. I do not recommend this place for those with celiac disease.

We’ve stopped here twice now. I asked for a gluten free recommendation and there is also information on their website. The original Yumm bowl is my favorite!

I love it here! Cafe yumm has always treated me well. It’s so easy to just grab and go and the sauce is amazing! (Side note: they have one in the airport and it’s perfect to pick up before a flight)

There are a lot of gluten free options here! It's nice to know there's someplace that I KNOW I can get a meal at when I'm out running errands.

The staff was very knowledgeable about gluten allergies and had a menu outlining what was gluten free. Overall, great experience and great food

Staff was knowledgeable about gf and dairy free options. I was offered substitutions for dairy ingredients. Good, but portion size was smaller than anticipated and explained by staff. No problems with the classic bowl with tofu.
Great Service, but over priced and menu did not specify toppings. If you're thinking Chipotle, don't go here. Food was cold.
Food was lukewarm, & it didn’t taste that good overall. But the Chilean zucchini stew had a good flavor. And it was pretty pricey. We won’t be coming back here.
Staff was not knowledgeable, but I spoke with the manager and was given a GF menu.

The food is fabulous and gluten free each time I come.

Great staff. Great food. Safe for celiac!

So good. Many things are gluten free and they have a gluten free menu. It's quite expensive for a bowl of rice though. So I think twice before spending $24 on two bowls of rice.. but it is super yummy. FYI you can buy their yumm sauce at Roths in the fridge area by the cheese and make your own
Yes
I loved whole bowl when I was living in Portland, OR. This is the next closest and I think it’s Yumm lol. It’s healthy, they can make most items gf and you can buy their Yumm sauce separately. It’s definitely worth trying!
I love cafe yumm and when I told them I had celiac they seemed to take me seriously and marked that I have an allergy. Just express your needs clearly and hope for the best. I didn't have a reaction!!

Great food and very accommodating to our allergies! The staff were amazing!

I make copycat versions of the sauce at home, but still like to visit the restaurant once in a while to reset my palate. Best part about cafe yumm to me is real, whioe food ingredients.
Love their yumm bowls. If they aren't sure about the soups ask to see the list in the binder under the counter.
Solid choice for something good filling and gluten free. Have never gotten sick at any cafe yumm location.

The staff seemed knowledgeable and treated my Yumm! Baby bowl as an allergy order. The pricing was reasonable, the food good, and the size of the large bowl appropriate. This place wasn't exceptional, but I can still recommend it as a safe option.

Yummy bowls, knowledgeable staff
Assistant manager knew gluten free and instructed the cooks to prepare my meal in a separate area. This is my go-to whenever I’m at the airport.
Yes
I love that there are so many gluten free options here! They have a separate menu to give you, and they have an allergy button they press when you order, which always makes me feel safe. Did I mention the bowls are completely delicious!!???
Yes
Clean restaurant. Staff very nice. Interesting concept but needs work. Gluten Free food isn’t labeled properly and staff has to keep checking with the cooks and there is always confusion. Also, very unhealthy junk canola oil is in most of the food. No one should be ingesting a fake lab made industrial oil like canola, especially people with autoimmune diseases. This place could be safer to eat at, but they need to work on a few things. I wish them luck as they make adjustments.

Ate here once before and do not recall getting sick. This time, not the case. I asked specific question, was clear about my Celiac Disease and cross-contamination issues, and double check that she would note on my ticket about my severe allergy, which she confirmed. I got gluten-bombed right away. Not ideal pre-flight.

Was awesome and safe. Lots of options. They have GF bread. I got a bowl and soup.
The food is always fresh and delicious! The staff is nice and even put an alert on my ticket about gluten! Highly recommend
Cashier pulled out a nutrition guide from under the counter, apparently it's online too. The only non-GF category is their wraps and bentos, and those are reportedly prepared in a separate area of the kitchen. Portion sizes aren't the best for the price but I liked the Original bowl with chicken.
