I asked for a side of rice and a side of black beans with no cheese (I have a dairy allergy), but they gave me the beans with cheese and no spoon to eat the rice with. The sraff also didn't seem to understand celiac compared to normal wheat allergies, and I believe there is a risk of cross-contamination for most foods.

G R O S S owner of this Franchise location hires the filthiest of people. They don't wear hair nets on long hair or beards, ewwwww. I seen one guy stroking his beard while preparing food, with no gloves. One persons apron had dried up layers of old food stains, and he kept sniffling his nose to stop the mucous from running out. Another kept scratching his head while taking orders, then looking into the bags dumping all his head lice onto the food. If they wear gloves, they keep the same gloves on throughout the day, touching everything, then putting on the food. Don't trust they are not spitting on the food or snorting bugars on your tater tots. One former employee told me they all take turns hockin' loogies into the chicken chili soup, when they're pissed of at the Manager, which is everyday. Don't get food at this place, you'll get food poisoning from all the bacteria. I wouldn't doubt there's fecal matter in the refried beans.

The cashier was familiar with gluten allergies. He informed us that they use a shared fryer for both wheat and corn tortillas and suggested I stick with the Baja tacos since they are not fried. Gluten friendly items are clearly marked on the menu board.

Why did people here saying that it's celiac safe? I saw the review and walked into the restaurant and asked them if they have separate fryer for celiac safe, the guy told us that they're NOT celiac friendly. I did brought NEMA tester and the staff said that there's no need to test it because it is CROSSED CONTAMINATED and will not pass my NEMA test. However, they do have gluten free menus but it's crossed contaminate. They told us DON'T EAT HERE if we have CELIAC DISEASE. So we left. I would give 5 star for the staff and the excellent customer service.

This place is fantastic! I rarely trust fast food but this place is different. They have a dedicated prep area as well as frier for Tacos. All western Washington Taco times have a dedicated frier. The owner himself came out and talked to us about their safety protocols and thanked us for supporting his small business. Would go there any time!

Yes!! So yummy. If you’re in the mood for Taco Bell, but not in the mood for a gluten induced puke 👍🏼 so yummy. I ordered the ground beef nachos and the beef crispy tacos. Really good, no reaction. I’m not celiac but very sensitive to gluten. I have a reaction within the first few bites if there is even cross contamination present. Really good Tex mex. we will be back

The staff was knowledgeable in explaining that they don’t have a dedicated fryer so things like chips, tots, and crisp taco shells aren’t safe since they also fry flour tortillas in the same fryer. They recommended the Baja tacos with a side of chili. Very good and very helpful!

Mexi-fries and chips are not gf as they are in a shared fryer.
Forgot my dressing and an order of chips for my husband.

Fast, easy to order GF food. Knowledgeable staff. I’m very sensitive to gluten and have eaten 4 meals from here safely. Also able to make GF and Dairy-Free for other family members.

A relative of mine works at this location. He explained that if someone tells him they have an allergy they will wipe down surfaces and make your food on the back line with fresh gloves, etc. He also said they are very glad to do this for customers! No eye rolls here. Plus the food is yummy and affordable. :)
Yes
Their menu is marked with all items that are gluten free. It was very easy to order and the food was delicious!
I usually get the taco salad and ask to have them change their gloves. This time, the person at the counter told one girl in the back to change her gloves, but another person ended up making me my salad. I was very sick about 20 mins later. I should have known when they gave me the chips and I said I didn’t want them.

mention you are Celiac and they will take care to avoid cross contamination for your order. Very thoughtful staff.
Can easily google their GF menu for a specific list of GF items. While the Mexi-fries (tater tots) are GF, they are deep fried in a shared fryer so there is cross contamination. We had the beef tacos and had no issues. Food was tasty, staff was friendly and helpful, and we left full and satisfied. Great GF fast food option when traveling and short on time!
Great fast food option. They clearly label all the items on the menu. I like the crunchy chicken tacos. This is pretty cheap as well. Not sure about the fryer but I get the corn chowder which is gf instead of the tots.
Yes
The menu is labeled gluten friendly and gluten sensitive.
Taco Time has gluten free hard shell tacos and taco salad bowls. Unfortunately they don't have a dedicated gluten free fryer. All the different staff members that I have talked to seem to have some understanding of the need for food being gluten free. Best option I've found for fast food so far.
Yes
This place has amazing Mexican. There are small squares that say GF on it in the corner of each food on the menu. If you tell them you are GF they will put on new gloves and wipe down there work space. Not all taco times are but I know the ones in Washington State are.
Several GF options. I've tried several and all tasted great.
Their crisp tacos and crisp burritos are safe for me. They now have a GF menu too!!
there really is only one option, Baja taco, which is made with a corn tortilla. taco salad uses corn tortillas but they fry them in the same oil as gluten items. high chance of cross contamination but they did warn me of that. they gear towards gluten sensitive not celiac. I was on travel for work and needed something quick so i chanced it. I asked them to change their gloves before making mine and they did. I did end up bloated but didn't get sick. it was nice to have fast food.

Some gluten free items. I have celiacs disease and they didn't make me sick. The food was basic, nutritious, okay.
They list GF items on their nutrition page. Good GF fast food.
