Gluten-Free at Wingstop

So far I've had a lovely experience at this location. It can be a little complicated ordering here but thankfully it can be done! Before ordering I like to speak to the manager and explain my gluten allergy. After explaining I'll ask if they can please use the fryer that's dedicated to frying corn only (each location has a total of 3 fryers, 2 for the breaded chicken and 1 only for the corn). At times they'll even clean out the oil and replace it as an extra safety precaution which is super nice. Overall it's a bit complex to order but if you ask nice enough wingstop can be ordered gluten free! Of course like with most fast food chains cross-contamination is a risk but it's reassuring the managers practice precaution when requested 😁

Eat here for the dedicated wing fryer. Ok eating the wings. Tried fries once and thought it upset me, so I stick to wings now, which I believe are in a separate fryer.

The bone-in wings and bone-in thighs are cooked in dedicated gluten free oil. They use new bowls to toss on the sauces. Most sauces are gf.

Sick 30 minutes after eating. Could'nt leave the bathroom. Got the traditional wings and fries. Won't order again.

Separate fryers had always been used, but my daughter got so sick this last time. When I called, they said they use the same fryers. Unfortunate for us.

Traditional wings are really good! They said that their traditional wings are not fried in a fryer with any breaded items. And all sauces except their Hawaiian are gluten free!

Traditional wings are not breaded and are therefore gluten free. Also the fries. But they use the same fryer so not safe for celiac but good enough if you are doing to avoid inflammation.

I got lemon pepper traditional wings and they were so good ! I called and spoke with an employee and this particular establishment fries all flour things in a certain fryer and non flour chicken and fries in a separate fryer. I ate the wings and a few fries and did not get sick.

Best Wings Ever! Never had a reaction. Lemon Pepper Wings Rock! Other reviews are quite old and probably depends on the location you visit.

Per their website, everything is cooked in the same oil but they filter the oil. They do not claim their food is gluten free.

No allergen menu. The staff was unable to provide any ingredient information and told us that it would not be safe for anyone in the party with a food allergy.

No GF menu but the staff was knowledgable. Bone in wings are GF and all but 3 sauces too. Not sure if they have a dedicated fryer but I’m sensitive and was not bothered

Just stopped by for the first time after curiously driving past for months... First of all, the owner/manager is HILARIOUS and all the employees are very upbeat and fun! (Which is always an extra plus in my book. 😉👍) The allergen info online gives a blanket statement about shared fryers and cross contamination, but at THIS SPECIFIC LOCATION they use separate fryers for EVERYTHING they make!!! 😁 I had a great conversation with the manager about how seriously he takes allergies because customer satisfaction is his #1 priority. He even went into the kitchen himself to supervise my order and showed me the clean dishes he used for extra safety!

I must say...after 2+ years of not being able to enjoy most takeout (especially when it's all fried), this entire experience made my week like nobody's business! I highly recommend this establishment for anyone who loves wings, but struggles to find somewhere that can make them celiac-safe! A+++, and I abso-freakin-lutely will be returning!!! 👍👍👍

Manager was available and was able to print out the menu for allergens. To be gluten free must order the bone in wings! Even though the fries are in a separate fryer manager suggested no on the fries because when they are crowded it's not uncommon for something else to drop in there. Good experience. Glad to be able to eat real food. Many side dishes are gluten free but if you order the veggie sticks you can't get the ranch dressing-that is not gluten free.

They have an allergen list that, at first glance, would lead you to believe that their traditional bone-in wings are gf... but then when you read the caveats at the bottom it says that due to the way they filter their oil, ALL wings will have trace amounts of gluten. They don't have any gf options.

Called ahead to ask about gluten free. They had no idea what I was talking about. Finally got a manager to tell me they do NOT have a dedicated fryer.

Alicia was very friendly and knowledgable of celiac. While they don't have a gluten free menu she made it clear that there original bone wings are dedicated and not cooked with the other style wings that contain gluten. She was very friendly and said to just call ahead of time and let her know you are gluten sensitive or celiac so they can accommodate to assure the wings get cooked in the right fryer. Staff was also friendly and did not make your feel uncomfortable for having celiac. We will be back!

My experience was great. The food is delicious and the Manager, Nathan, is well versed on their GF menu. The food came out very slowly, however.

The fries here are always gluten free and are fantastic! Unless you have a SEVERE gluten allergy the bonein wings are gluten free as well! This is a great place to eat if you're eating a gluten free diet!

Wings aren't breaded & fried. They're just fried & sauced, rubbed or seasoned. Some sauces aren't GF, but some are! No GF dedicated fryer, so not recommended for severe gluten allergies. I have CD, but haven't had problems with cross contamination.

Bone in wings are in a dedicated fryer. Just don't choose the teriyaki or Hawaiian sauce. I'm choosing veggie sticks and slaw for my sides. French Fries are not GF. But it is s treat to get wings!!!!

I go here very frequently as I am a busy college student. I have celiac disease and love that this is a fast, tasty option! I don't have to worry that my stomach might hurt later.

I love this Wingstop! I have never gotten sick from their fries or their wings. Their blue cheese is not gluten free, unfortunately, but their ranch is amazing!

Shared oil means that nothing is gluten free. Deceptive advertising..,
