Nope. Enjoyed eating here before I knew I had celiac. When we inquired about GF options here by phone the person actually told us there were not any available and that we should eat somewhere else. Go to Mission BBQ instead!

Really nice service and no gluten free options on the menu but they did provide me an allergen menu. It turned that so was unable to find anything I like that is without gluten and they don’t really understand celiac so no separate prep. I cannot recommend it for gluten free.

Very, very few options on gluten free. Don't look at the website because their in person menu is completely different because their ingredients were updated very recently. She accommodated and here are the following options:
-Salmon without the glaze
-Baked potato with meat of choice
-Rich and Sassy sauce (ONLY sauce option)
-broccoli
-corn on the cob
Other features:
-Great atmosphere
-Waitress went to the back like 5 times to ask about my options. Very accommodating

I would not recommend this place for anything gluten free. Too many different spices and sauces going on. Last time i came i had chicken and steamed vegetables and got really sick. Have not went back after that occasion. SKIP!

None of their BBQ sauce is gluten-free so there is a limited menus to choose from. The only meat available is chicken. Their side dishes include; coleslaw, salad without croutons, corn on the cob and a few other potions. They offer corn bread muffins but verify they are gluten-free cuz I don’t remember them being on the gluten-free menu.

They no longer have any sauces that are GF. Waiter was unfamiliar with the alergy.
Maybe the steamed broccoli and the salad are GF.

This location is supposed to have a dedicated fryer to fries but always ask to confirm. They have several GF options per their nutritional information.

Staff was helpful. There is no guarantee of cross-contamination (for fried foods), but they staff was knowledgeable on allergies.

The staff is very knowledgeable about gluten free options, and the cook took extra precaution to safeguard against contamination. There is only one bbq sauce that is not gluten free, and the staff made sure I knew which one it was. They do not have a dedicated fryer, but their mashed potatoes made up for me not being able to get fries.
The food was absolutely delicious. The staff didn’t feel that they had a lot of gluten free options, but I feel they have a great selection.

Spoke to manager on the phone before I came. We discussed menu options and they were able to assure me of a safe meal. When I got there, the manager personally made my dinner so there was no miscommunication between server and chef. It was delicious! Love them for lunch. Will go back!! Had salad and loaded potato.
*Note: have to avoid the corn muffins. They contain wheat.
Yes
They have some printed copies of their allergen info. And, their website has allergen information. Unfortunately, the two lists are inconsistent: some wheat-free items on one list are not on the other, and vice versa. I eventually ordered something that was wheat-free on both lists, but the server brought it out touching a corn muffin, despite our lengthy conversation regarding gluten issues. Eat here at your own risk.
No
Very limited and lots of cross contamination. Server told us not to eat there is it a allergy.
GF menu available online. Be sure to notify your server of your allergy and request gluten containing items be left off your plate. Not many GF sauces, but there are a few meat options to pick from and most sides are GF (although fryer is shared, so skip the fried sides.) I ordered the smoked turkey and chicken with steamed broccoli and didn’t get sick!
Yes
Delicious, the honey barbeque sauce and Memphis baby back ribs are gluten free, I also got 2 sides broccoli and potato salad. It’s nice when you can eat out n not get sick.
Yes
Ribs were absolutely delicious and gluten free of course. They have 2 barbeque sauces that were gluten free. I forget to tell the waitress not to add cornbread to my order. Thank goodness it was sitting at the edge of my plate when my food came out. I just had my daughter remove the cornbread off my plate and I used a fork to remove the rib and fries from my plate that was sitting next to the cornbread. Thank goodness the rest of my food didn’t get contaminated and I didn’t get sick. I would definitely eat at this restaurant again next time I’m craving ribs.
Yes
Unsure why this place is listed on here. Manager stated they cannot guarantee anything is gluten free due to cross contamination.
I asked our waitress what was gluten free and she had the manager come out and go through the gluten free options. He was pretty knowledgeable about cross contamination and even said he would prepare the food himself to make sure it was ok. I had the roast chicken, garlic mashed potatoes and apples. I didn’t try any of the bbq sauce because I didn’t want to risk it.
The country roasted chicken is my go-to here and they're good about making their salads without croutons if you ask. I've eaten at this location about 10 times and have yet to be glutened. There's a gluten free menu online (I've never asked for a physical one but they might have it). The waitress I had knew right away that the chips weren't gluten free when I asked which was nice that she didn't guess or anything. Just remember to tell them not to give you the cornbread muffin with your meal and you should be set.
Yes
AVOID AVOID AVOID. The menu is a joke, they only have a very few things on their menu. And then when you order they are out of it. The waitress was completely incompetent. If I could give them a zero I would.
No
We did a take out order. Excellent food. I had the salmon with garlic mashed and grilled pineapple. Delish! No problems with the food but the person who took our phone order probably should have been given another task.
Waiter Scott and Manager Veronica took exceptional care of our celiac needs. Veronica was knowledgeable in cross contamination and was excited and eager to help us. The roast chicken is the safest meal for a celiac and it was delicious. The Brussels sprouts with pecans was out of this world. Highly recommended for anyone with a laundry list of foods you can’t eat. Thank you
Previous review indicated all sauces except 1 were GF. Turns out only 2 are GF. Waiter was possibly worst we have encountered. Had no idea about GF. Tried to serve my Celiac wife a beer instead of Crispin Cider, served her ribs with cornbread touching it after all our requests about allergy concerns. Incredibly slow service.
The country roasted chicken was amazing! The manager was very helpful in ensuring our meal was prepped correctly.
No
Should be a zero. NOTHING HERE IS GLUTEN FREE. Had to go there for a family member's bday and was told by the cook that everything has gluten. Had to starve and drink water. Pathetic!!!!
Don't do it.. it's basically a wheat-a-palooza. Nothing on their menu is truly GF as there is basically a guarantee of cross contamination. Also, the staff have no idea what being celiacs means. Left right away.
No
Online recommendations out of date. Manager was kind and knowledgeable. extremely limited he items. I do not recommend. I was ill after eating here.
No
Their BBQ sauce is not gluten free
No
My girlfriend is celiac. We've eaten BBQ here on several occasions and she has never had any problems whatsoever. They have a good selection of entrees and all but one of their sauces (there are several at your table) is GF.
Good food but not celiac safe. :(
I found a feather on my chicken wing. Never eating there again. They don't have many options for gluten free people either I felt
No
We should have left when we sat down to the table and it was full of crumbs and had to ask them to clean it off. Then I thought I would be safe with the sassy salad. Which was brought out with the cornbread muffin and corn chips on top. Basically bagged lettuce, cabbage, carrots with some brisket on top. No dressing! Won't be coming back!
No
Worst bbq choice if you have celiac. don't go.
No
This place has GREAT Ribs...order them without sauce and they're gluten free and amazing! Kids basket has ribs and corn on the cob. Vanilla bean ice cream for dessert!
I would give this 0 stars if I could. They have a very complicated allergen list that I ordered from... Only to have the manager come and tell me what I ordered WASNT gluten free. The allergen list they have is WAY outdated apparently. I asked them several times to not give this menu to future diners.
No
No actual GF menu and the staff was clueless. I ended up with nothing to eat!
No
I spoke with Jay (the manager) and he was very nice. The items that are GF are: BBQ or Roasted Chicken, the Rich and Sassy sauce, coleslaw, broccoli, mashed potatoes, and potato salad.
Yes
Great chicken breast with choice of 4 gf BBQ sauces. Limited gf menu but a few things I really like such as a plain huge baked potato with butter - they have additional gf toppings too.
No
There are limited gf safe options but the roasted chicken, broccoli, grilled pineapple and mashed potatoes are all delicious. They are very allergy aware and careful. My daughter with tn and fish allergies eats there safely too. The company lists ALL ingredients online.
One person told me they would bring me an allergen menu and then someone else said they don't have one because nothing is really gluten free.
No
it's a joke, hand you a huge binder showing ingredients of each menu item... even the items listed as wheat free are sure to be cooked on the same surfaces
I spoke with kitchen manager because I'm celiac. They use gluten in there rubs! Some sauces are not GF. They do not have a gluten-free designated fryer.
My daughter had a cheeseburger without the bun and raw carrots and celery. I thought that would be safe but she's sick today..
No
Manager was very nice.. Told me nothing is safe on the menu for celiacs. Only option is to get chicken and peel the skin off which is obviously not safe either.
Not GF!!! They only have a wheat free menu and a lot of their sauces contain barley malt flour!
No
They used to have a gluten free menu, but not anymore. Manager was actually rude when we asked.
Had a great experience at Famous Dave's in Wisconsin Dells! We had the BBQ Chicken with the garlic mashes potatoes, broccoli, and corn on the cob, and there were no leftovers! It would be great if their beans were GF, but we found enough to make a delicious meal and even the kids were happy :)
When I called they said there's no completely gluten free food that isn't crossed with wheat/gluten. So if you have celiac disease or a high intolerance don't bother. Very disappointed.
