Gluten-Free at Burger Village

Wonderful experience and wonderful food! Nino, our server, was super knowledgeable. We were told everything but 4 (or 5) things could be made gluten free. He also explained that there is no mixing or cross contamination - they are careful and proud about this. I am the only gf one in my family, and I had absolutely no issues, and the burger was delicious and juicy! My husband and kids enjoyed their glutinous burgers, chicken nugs, and fried pickles too! We will definitely return! And shout out to Nino, again, for being great. He had a great sense of humor and was very knowledgeable!

Great experience overall. The owner and our waiter explained that they take dietary restrictions very seriously, have contamination protocols, a dedicated fryer etc. Not often that I've felt that safe eating out. Salad, burger, and fries were excellent in a comfortable atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Loved the Burger Village they opened in Deer Park!!!! Separate fryer. Several options like chicken pictured, burgers with buns, I think a chicken sandwich too, a gluten free dessert option. The items on the menu and sauces are all clearly labeled. Items pictured below are GF. There were also two gf labeled hard cider options and one “gluten removed” beer option (which I personally don’t trust)

My son had a non-gf grilled cheese and I asked for his fries to be gf (so I could have them because he won’t eat them) and the staff came out to check to make sure the grilled cheese didn’t also have to be GF. I feel like staff was properly trained and knowledgable !

Went for dinner a few nights ago and had no issues, I got fries (dedicated fryer) and chicken tenders…the chicken tenders omg I was a little nervous eating them because if they didn’t say they’re gf I would have never guessed it! Sooo good! Whole fam enjoyed dinner here…cool place and will definitely stop again when in the area! Just a side note my husband read somewhere they have Gf onion rings…the waiter checked with the kitchen-bummer they don’t.

We were really looking forward to trying this place from all of the same reviews. We ordered the gluten free tater tots, tomato soup, and a salad. All were marked gluten free. Our server didn't seem to be very knowledgeable. He told me that certain things were gluten free, but I asked him to check and they weren't. When I asked about the burgers, he confirmed that they cook them on the same place as the regular buns. So, I skipped getting a burger. When he brought our food, he brought regular crackers with the soup. I asked if they were gluten free and he left to check again. They were in an enclosed bag, so we just let him take them away. By the end of our meal, we were both feeling not good (two of us have celiac). And by the evening, we were certain we were glutened. I was surprised because I figured that it would be safe, but we will not return to this place. Beware.

Just ate here for the first time. I had a crispy chicken sandwich! Omg delicious! I had it on the lettuce wrap but my daughter used the gluten free bun for her burger. We had tater tots too. There are a lot of options. They have a dedicated fryer. The waitress was very helpful. I will be back. Didn't get dessert but they have a chocolate flour less cake.

Had a great experience. Got boneless wings with no sauce (I didn’t want anything spicy) and fries. Chicken was very tender. Menu clearly marked except French fries. They don’t have a GF next to them but they are and have a dedicated fryer for all their fried food. They seemed super relaxed about allergies, as in, it was not a big deal to accommodate them as that is part of their philosophy. Next time I go, I’ll get a burger but wasn’t in the mood for beef the night I went. It was nice to get chicken that was “breaded” and feel normal. I would recommend this for a celiac.

Had lunch here and almost left since the menu seemed to only have the vegetarian burgers, tator tots and a few others items marked as GF. After talking with our server, she assured us the burgers were GF with a GF bun and the fries were also GF and fried in a separate fryer. The Burger Village Menu has gluten free items marked on it. Also, ask the server about a dedicated fryer for fries. Had dinner here while touring Cal Poly with my son. I would definitely go back. The owner and waiter were both knowledgeable about celiac and took time to explain menu options to me. We ordered delivery online but called ahead to ask about gluten free protocols. They have a separate grill or area of the grill for gf. They also have a separate fryer for fries and tots. The onion rings are NOT gluten free due to the batter containing gluten. The burger was great! Even with delivery, the bun didn’t fall apart. The fries were also crispy and salty. We were really pleased! There are a lot of topping and sauce options to choose from. We’ll definitely order from here again.

I went to an event cater by Burger Village and all the burgers were wrapped individually. The gf, vegetarian, dairy free, etc. were all wrapped in foil and separate from the others. They tasted great and had good gf buns!

I really enjoyed the gluten free chicken tenders and regular fries (the sweet potato fries were a little bland but still good). I knew from this app that this place was safe. However, when I asked “are all the burgers gluten free” (because they are not clearly labeled, the waitress looked confused and unsure and said that only the 3 vegan burgers are gluten free. I asked if she could follow up with a manager just to double check. She did and apologized saying they are all gluten free.

I ended up getting the lamb burger on a gluten free bun(which is also not on the menu) bland tater tots. Delicious and will definitely be back!

The gluten free burger bun dissolved within the first two bites. Spoke with the manager and gave him that feedback and he said they were udi’s brand. But he said they have a dedicated work station and fryers. I think more on the menu is gf because he said the fries are even tho they aren’t marked on the menu.
