Came for brunch and ordered the Açaí bowl. Was delicious and the waitress was knowledgeable. There is a GF menu but it says on it that the options on there are not GF, but only gluten conscious. Many obviously gf options were not on the “GF” menu, such as the açaí bowl. I ordered it and felt fine and the waitress made sure it was gf before I ordered. Calling it a gf menu is bs but they do have options

Terrific experience start to finish! Staff was knowledgeable, discussed my choices & spoke with the chef. Manager came over to review order (salmon and avocado cobb salad) Delicious food at a lively, fun place.

11/10. Amazing service, and amazing quality food. Before ordering, I let our waitress know I had Celiac. She immediately said there would be no cross contamination, and a separate station to prepare my food. She also said she would notify the chef to ensure no cross contamination occurred, and let the manager know. I ordered a chicken and quinoa dish, and it was amazing. Would definitely recommend.

Went there and got the blackened chicken burger, the waitress said she would notify the manager about that its a gf order. I watched her talk to him and watched him go talk to the cook. The manger brought my food and ensured me it was gf free. It was really good, (a bit spicy for me), but so delicious. I never got sick. From my experience alone, I would say it’s safe. Will be going back for sure!

Very disappointed with moxie. They used to have a Gluten wise menu and their staff used to be knowledgeable about gluten free options, but not anymore . They don’t have their “Gluten wise “ menu anymore. I informed the server I’m celiac and asked him if I could still get the Tomato feta cheese with GF cracker as i had it many time before . He didn’t know about it. He said he doesn’t know he they carry any GF crackers. He went to ask the chef and he said yeah they still have the Gf crackers . I said ok I will get the feta cheese with these cracker he then asked me if I needed the bread on the side . I said no that’s why I informed you about the crackers

Came for brunch. The manager came out and talked to me about GF options and was knowledgeable about cross contamination. I got the Sicilian sausage hash and they substituted roasted potatoes instead of fried and a gf bun instead of reg toast. Yum! Would definitely recommend

The menu was not marked gluten free, and our server was not very knowledgable about what could be modified. She was super nice and made sure to go check with the chef to see what could be modified to be gluten free. I wouldn’t recommend for celiac but if you are intolerant and can handle some cross contamination it’s an option!

Eaten here twice and both times a manager came to tell me they would change pans to cook my shrimp and cook will change gloves. They are very accommodating and very thorough. Highly recommend.

For the Celiacs and people who need to be serious, just stay away. The place is a joke. No gf menu, no dedicated equipment, nothing that made me feel at ease. All we ordered was wine after we asked some basic questions. Shared fryer etc. Typical low brow ignorant food staff.

If you have any issues with gluten or other food allergies I DO NOT advise eating here. In general Moxies' restaurants have a great reputation for taking allergies seriously, so it was extra disappointing to have such a negative experience with them. I placed an online order, including outlining my son's allergies, and requested a call just to discuss how best to make his meal gluten-free. When our order arrived, they completely mixed up my order with his, and despite 'gluten allergy' being written on his order, his burger was made with a regular bun, which made him sick.

I have been waiting to look at the menu when this place opened, and prayed that it would have gluten free bread. It is currently (outside of shake shack) the only restaurant that offers gluten free bread in Brickell/Downtown that I have found, and I have called a lot of places! I had brunch and they were very accommodating! They gave me roasted potatoes instead of the normal home fries that go into a shared fryer. Also gave me gave me a gluten free bun instead of toast! I can't wait to try the burgers and chicken sandwich! Fryer is shared, and they note that on the gluten free menu.
Update: burger, blackened Chicken sandwich and the ribs are all excellent! Twice baked potato, salad, or veggies as sides.
GF menu, the wait staff and manager both checked on my needs and confirmed with the chef. Excellent mango chicken and, because they change their fryer each day, I could indulge in sweet potato fries! Highly recommended.
Ribs were good. Dedicated gluten free menu. Dont feel sick afterwards

Waitress got the manager and a chef. They made sure everything was safe and no cross contamination.

I had a great experience here with their gluten friendly menu. Manager came out and talked with me regarding my order.

They offer a gluten free menu. When I explained I had celiac, the waiter brought the manager to the table. He said they have a separate area they will prepare the food in, confirmed that what I ordered was completely gluten free and said he will personally bring it to the table to avoid any cross contamination. Excellent experience!

If i could give zero stars i would!! Abosuletly not celiac safe! And horrible/uknowledable staff! Dont risk it, i got incredibly sick and they were very rude the whole time! Nothing there is celiac safe.
The staff will ask if you are GF or have CD. Chef or manager will come out to check. Many options provided. Have had many safe meals here.

My wife and I decided to have lunch here today, this is not a gulten free restaurant. She has been sick all day with all the symptoms related to eating gulten

Wonderful place to eat! They are extremely careful to make sure no contamination. Manager even came to speak with me when he found out I had Celiac Disease! I had steak and flourless chocolate cake too!

What a fabulous experience and the food was soooooo tasty!

Takes allergies very seriously. Gluten free menu highlights cross-contamination risks when applicable. I told them I was celiac and they offered to modify the menu for me.

As a celiac this restaurant gets my stamp of approval. The server Jared was lovely and offered the gf menu. He unstable the difference between gluten free and gluten friendly. He also said he’d manager would be out to talk about the menu. The manager was very informed and offered several selections that could even be made gf. He offered fries and when I inquired about the gluten free fryer he said it changed from day to day, so Celiacs beware. No designated fryer. It was our anniversary and my hubby enjoyed the flourless chocolate cake and ice cream in addition to our mains.
My steak and salad were excellent. I’ll be back certainly.

Moxie’s takes allergies and celiac seriously. Whether we order online or in the restaurant we have always had great experiences. Once you place your order and let them know it is an allergy or celiac a manager comes to your table to explain the steps they take to ensure your meal is safe. While no gluten serving restaurant can guarantee there will be no CC, they have always been very cautious to ensure my son and I have safe meals.

Staff was very friendly and attentive to my needs when I told them I have celiac. Manager came over to confirm my order and ensure it would be GF. I was nervous, as they call it a “gluten conscious” menu, which says, “Moxie’s Gluten Conscious menu is designed for lifestyle choice. This menu is not for allergies and is not gluten-free. The menu is simply used to assist guests wishing to limit gluten in making menu choices. PLEASE SPEAK DIRECTLY TO A MANAGER IF YOU HAVE A GLUTEN ALLERGY.” However, I got the salmon and avocado Cobb salad without croutons, it was delicious and I had 0 issues!
I've eaten here twice and both times was very sick (glutened sick) after. This was ordering from the gluten free menu and telling them I'm celiac
So this came up in my find me gluten free app. Sat down and asked for a gluten-free menu. The server brought it and the menu states on each individual item that this item will come in contact with wheat during the process of cooking or handling. It further states that there is nothing made in their kitchen that is safe for wheat allergy or celiac. Server came back and confirmed that information with us and we left.

Outstanding service for celiac customers.

Gluten free menu is absolutely NOT gluten-free. Been told that I could only eat some meat piece without sauce. Even the salad comes without dressing. All the nice options from the gluten free menu (ribs, burgers, etc) come with a sauce that contains gluten. Even for a non celiac gluten sensitivity, menu is inadequate since contains wheat.
Yes
This post says they have a dedicated gf area. THEY DO NOT. Management said all areas of kitchen come in contact with gluten and the best they can do is try to clean the area as best as possible.
No
Decently large dinner menu, but excellent service and very knowledgeable staff. Manager came out to serve and check in. Very friendly and accommodating. Tasty fish tacos.
Yes
Staff is very accommodating for celiac disease! Been there so many times and keep going back. Delicious every time and friendly staff. They also do lettuce buns for burgers which are a huge iceberg lettuce head chopped in half where as some only give you a few pieces of romain for a lettuce bun. Manager will come up to specify allergy and deliver it him/herself.
Yes
There is a seperate gluten sensitive menu with a variety of options available. Staff seems very knowledgable and the manager has brought my food to the table every time I've eaten there to ensure quality. The bruschetta and street tacos are amazing! 🤤
Staff was knowledgeable and they have a dedicated gluten free menu.
The staff was knowledgeable and accommodating. A bit frustrating as I was excited for a gf burger with a gf bun! But the burgers are made with Worcestershire which contains malted barley and is decidedly not celiac friendly. Had to settle for a Portabello burger on gf bun (not meat). Fries are also not in a dedicated fryer so also a no-go. There ARE items on the menu that are safe and the staff is conscientious, the waitress double-checked with me multiple times. It’s just frustrating to see gf buns available but not be able eat a real beef burger 😕. C’est la vie.
We went here for a steak supper and was not disappointed. The manager came over and reviewed how they were going to cook my meal as safe as possible and made sure i was satisfied before they started cooking. I am looking forward to going back to try the gf bun for a burger and they have my beer (Bards) to go with it!
Yes
They have a separate gluten free menu. Waitress was knowledgeable, and also confirmed my order with the manager who came to speak with me and then personally brought me my meal

Awful service Tried ordering a take out First they picked up and hanged up immediately THen they answered and put me on hold - I hanged up after 5 minutes Then, no apologies, they said they will place me on hold and it will be at least 10 minutes. Disgraceful phone service
My daughter and I both have celiac. Manager was so helpful. He cooked our vegetables separately to ensure there was no cross contamination.
Extensive Gluten free menu! Good choices and really good.
Amazing service! The manager met with me to discuss my options, and pointed out any items that could be subjected to cross-contamination.

I ate here in late winter and had a curry dish. They were great with gluten free, very knowledgeable and celiac friendly.

Very aware of celiac. Manger came out and spoke to about there process. They do not have a dedicated fryer. Overall very good.
Manager was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Had the blackened chicken burger on a lettuce bun. Was sloppy but I used my knife and fork.😉
Gluten free menu Manager always comes over and verifies allergies and accommodations A variety of options
Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Able to handle Celiac disease. Had the half rack of ribs. It was delicious. Note: The fryer is not dedicated gluten free but had a good selection including a cheesecake for dessert.

I found a crouton in my gf ceasar salad. Not very attentive!
