I ordered bbq fajita chicken from the gluten “sensitive” menu and began eating it when I noticed there were 4 flour tortilla chips adorning the plate. My mother asked the manager who admitted they were made from flour and tried to ask if I wanted them to make me something else to which I declined. My trust had been lost. Hopefully I don’t feel sick later for the 2 shrimps I did have.
Food was okay/good. Waitress brought me the wrong drink and the GF chips were super thin and tasted stale. Their salsas were pretty good though. Definitely not an authentic Mexican restaurant, very Americanized. They put black pepper in their charro beans, and the food didn’t have a lot of spice. Every dish on the GF menu is over $18 unless you just order guacamole.
I had a great experience! The manager and waitress were very helpful. The waitress checked to make sure salsa was good and brought me my own. Also brought me baked chips. Waitress confirmed gloves were changed. They reassured me all the gf items don’t come in contact with gluten items. Definitely recommend.
