The food was just okay. But I was sick within the hour. Please do not go there!

Every time I order here they assure me they take precautions to avoid cross contamination. The last two times I've been I've 1) gotten wheat toast on my plate 2) had someone else's non-celiac meal served to me, which had bread crumbs on it from a different dish spilling. They are definitely not careful enough.

Love this place! I hadn’t been since being diagnosed with Celiac, and I’m so happy I went back. Everything is clearly marked on the menu. The GF seasonal pumpkin pancakes are 11/10. Please go if you’re ever in the area!

Love this place. Everything is delicious and prepared in different kitchen. Pancakes, waffles, French toast, sandwiches on GF bread, hashes. I don’t eat eggs so breakfast is not as easy for me but I go there most weekends and have never run out of delicious GF things to eat!

Yesterday we ate at the Westland location. I had ordered GF banana French toast. First time ordering this dish. Nothing came out marked GF like I had previously experienced at the Ann Arbor location. The bread of the French toast looked suspicious and I asked multiple servers that walked by if it was gluten free and they looked and nonchalantly said, uhhh yeah. So after the third ask I decided to try it and it definitely didn’t taste gluten free. My husband then asked the server are you sure this is gluten free? We all tried it and it tastes like regular bread. She was like yes it’s naturally gluten free. The menu clearly marks there’s a gluten free option but it’s not naturally gluten free. She said let me talk to the kitchen staff. So she came back a few minutes later with a look in her eyes like there was a major screw up and was like you know what I’m gonna remove this from your bill. The kitchen staff has been overwhelmed and haven’t been using the GF spools and so I’m going to take it off. So while I got a refund, I’m personally paying for my order mishap. :( so definitely use lots of caution at this location. The waitress didn’t seem to know the difference between GF option and naturally GF as marked on the menu. I won’t be going to this location again.

So I’ve eaten at Anna’s House in Westland like 20 times, and this was my second time at the Ann Arbor location. I got the pancakes and told them I was Celiac, they assured me they would cook it in their special area of the kitchen and stuff. However, after getting about half way through I literally had to sprint to the bathroom lol. Really random since I’ve never had this problem here before, but wanted to post as an FYI, I’m 99% sure I got glutented.

I’ve been to this restaurant once. Their menu is amazing from a GF point of view. They also offer a massive vegan option menu (rare for a breakfast restaurant), which I didn’t need to and didn’t try. I was told by my waitstaff that there is a dedicated kitchen for GF and non-GF orders. I had the GF Eggs Benedict, which was 10/10 rating and I highly recommend. I’ve had other family members visit here and also report that the “Vegan/ Vegetarian” Hash is also amazing. It wouldn’t surprise me if their whole menu regardless of food requirements is delicious, since their quality and presentation is very good. They also “flagged/” identified GF foods when they came to the table.

Staff is very down to earth & I love how the have gluten free dedicated irons & a gluten free area. First time going and I will definitely be back!

I love getting hot pancakes, cinnamon rolls, and coffee. So rare to have this many gf options, and breakfast foods are my favorite. This location is a great one.

This Anna’s house is further from our house, but they are more gluten friendly and have a dedicated waffle iron. Staff was knowledgeable, food is good (not great) and there are LOTS of options.

Amazing restaurant! Make sure you get the GF cinnamon roll 🤤

Excellent gluten free choices and tastes great. Been going here over a year from time to time. Used to always get my order right all the time but last time I am pretty sure they forgot to submit part of our order gluten free because it came out untagged but I was too starving to say anything as I knew I’d have to wait for a new plate.
Used to go there all the time but my daughter got very sick the last time. I called them just to let them know and they didn’t seem to care. Won’t be back.

Staff is very knowledgeable and understand the different between celiac and intolerance. Their menu is clearly marked and the manager will cook your meal. The meal is delivered to your table with an allergy pick in it. They also have gluten free cinnamon buns which are delicious. They have a separate area of the kitchen for GF so your meal may take a little longer than non GF meals. I rarely eat out and this is a trusted location. Highly recommend.

My favorite place to eat! So many options like French toast or even a cinnamon roll.

Has dedicated prep area. Staff knowledgeable. I had a great grilled cheese sandwich. Fryer not delicates so I subbed a salad. My sister (also Celiac) subbed the potatoes and said they tasted a lot like fries so was a good sub.

The staff was so knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. There is a dedicated gluten free prep space and staff. They also use non-latex gloves, which is great for those of us with latex allergies too.

Wow! A restaurant to has a separate kitchen for gluten free cooking! Had eggs Benedict and got a cinnamon roll to go! Yummy!

The staff was amazing! They were friendly and informed of how to avoid cross contamination. When I walked in I asked about a gluten free menu. They said they had one and even added that they have a separate for if I had celiac. I LOVE when restaurants are able to mention celiac disease without me bringing it up. It makes me feel extra safe. After breakfast I felt fine. This is my new brunch spot!!

Good food that is worth the wait. Many GF options and no reaction to multiple meals. Bread is used in the restaurant but staff is trained on keeping GF meals separate and marked all the way to the table.
This has become my wife and I’s weekly breakfast spot. Fantastic diner with a massive menu and great service. They have gf cinnamon buns that are amazing!! Their gf pancakes, waffles, and sandwiches are also fantastic. GreT place!

I was very clear with my order and the waitress new exactly what to do right away. She promised it would be made in a separate area and the manager even brought it out himself with a “gluten free” stick in it! So delicious!

Was glutened badly here on Easter!! A big mistake - not contamination. Our entire table specifically ordered GF since 3 family members have Celiac and wanted to possibly share the 4th person’s food. Asked questions and they answered everything perfectly. Got the BAE as one of the meals. The meals came and all 4 meals had GF sticks in the meals. Took a picture of the BAE because it looked so nice. Thought the roll that it was on looked large for a GF roll - but they had all sorts of GF products from a bakery up north. Again - meal had a GF stick in it. Ate it. Got the bill and thought it was funny that 3 meals were upcharged for GF but not the BAE. Got very sick. Called the next day to talk to the manager who was very nice. When I explained everything that happened and told him about the missing upcharge and told him that the bread the sandwich was on was round, he said that it was not GF. They only use square GF bread for their sandwiches. Despite this, they stuck a GF stick in the meal. He offered a gift certificate which I declined - I told him that I only wanted them to figure out how the mistake happened and to learn from it! Huge mistake. Not really sure how that could have happened - obviously rung up wrong, but how did it get the GF stick in it??? Will give them one more shot and if all goes well, will change my review. Beware - GF bread at this restaurant should be square. Manager handled this extremely well!!
I like their menu which makes ordering super easy for people with food allergies. They offer to cook your food in a separate area of their kitchen if you are celiac. Their hashes are very generous portions, but I did not care for the taste of the Hippie Hash -- too many flavors for me and too many carbs!
On Easter, we ate there again and I had eggs, potatoes, sausage and gluten free multigrain toast, which turned out to be a better choice. I'd still prefer some low-carb menu options. I plan to try their lunches the next time I visit.

Had a GF Monte Cristo and my husband had a GF waffle. (We asked and they use Krustees brand waffle mix). Food was good, hot and fresh. Lots of GF and vegetarian selections and a diverse breakfast menu. Will definitely be back!

Excellent labeling, tons of GF options (omg, I got a cinnamon roll!!), knowledgeable staff, and they offer to clean the grill before cooking GF food. Love this place
Tons of options, very knowledgable staff. They asked specifically if they needed to watch for cross contamination when we ordered and the manager brought the gluten free food out separately and assured me that it was prepared separately.
Only downside is that you will generally spend a bit more for the gluten free options and get a bit less. The naturally gluten free stuff might be better value.

So many gf options it was hard to choose. My California Omlet was’ huge - I could have easily shared it.
My husband ( not gf) had the biscuits and gravy which he said was delicious! He could not eat it all.
Very generous portions!!!

I’ve been multiple times and never had any issue with their gluten free waffles! Though one time I had their GF skillet hash and felt a bit sick. They said they had a dedicated fryer so not too sure what happened, but I’m sure it was an accident though I’m wary with those things now. Still very allergen conscious and helpful!

Unfortunately this location has been more inconsistent, so I no longer dine here. I still eat at other Anna's House locations.
Great gluten free food. Different options than you find in most gluten free restaurants. Very safe. Prepared in separate gluten free kitchen.

This place is wonderful! Me and my celiac boyfriend are always in the lookout for great gf restaurants. SO many gf options and the menu states "GFO" and "GF". Has a separate kitchen space for gf items. Food came out marked with an allergy pick. Server was knowledgeable and when we asked for a gf item, she asked if it was an allergy or preference to be extra safe. Would recommend to anyone!
