I’ve not had problems with the pancakes. You can’t have the potatoes but the sausage patties are good.

We frequent the Charleston location, but were in Raleigh and gave this a try. We know they have gluten free and their website has an allergen menu so my daughter can eat gluten free pancakes without the worry of eggs in them (she’s allergic). Service is slow at this location. We watched a veteran and his wife get up and leave because no one went to their table at all. We were greeted quickly and our order was taken quickly, but it took a while for the waiter to give us our check so we could leave. The pancakes were a little over cooked but not unbearable to eat.

Ordered to-go from the “gluten friendly” menu. Instead of grits I requested, they gave me fried potatoes. When I called to ask if there was a dedicated fryer, they said they fry the potatoes in same fryer as their fried chicken. Because my meal was on top of and next to the potatoes, I couldn’t eat it and had to throw it away. They offered to make me something else, but I am skeptical of their GF knowledge and was too much of a hassle to go back and get something else. My grits were in someone else’s boxed meal, but I couldn’t eat that because it was in container with an English muffin.
I probably won’t try eating there again but if I did would not do a to-go order.

They have pancakes!!! no problems afterwards. Not sure of their cross contamination measures. Delicious. I’m a sucker for pancakes.

When we first entered through the doors we asked for a gluten free menu, at the top of the menu there is a warning to tell your waitress/waiter about any health conditions. We explained that I have celiac and the waitress said the only thing on the gluten-free menu is the Lobster and brie omelette( since they use “fake” lobster along with the use of real lobster.) When the food was brought out it was the manager who brought it to us and said that his father has celiac and made us felt safer that he knew what it was.

Meh, very unenthusiastic. They have gf pancakes and bread, but that's it. They guarantee nothing. Potatoes are fried in shared oil. I ordered the fruit cup instead and paid $4 for a small cup sour fruit- it wasn't ripe. I asked for bananas on my pancakes and literally received 5 slices. My stomach started to hurt so stopped eating.
Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. Limited menu to mostly their omelets, but they have some gluten free sides to offer as well.
Not celiac friendly. The pancake was not terrible. But it was to thick and not completely cooked in the middle. And then I got sick after.
wonderful staff, great pancakes and grits. gluten free knowledgeable. ate both days in Raleigh. never got sick

GF pancake... AMAZING! I've also had omelettes and they're homemade sausage and I've never had any problems. It continues to be one of my favorite breakfast spots!

We loved this place, went several times. Their menu is gluten friendly but felt safe eating there after our waitress’ extensive knowledge. Really great sandwiches and breakfast items.

Awful breakfast. Gluten friendly menu but no separate toaster. Overpriced and I barely ate my eggs because they were drenched in butter. Grits were gross and I couldn’t get the bread toasted. My daughter liked the pancakes.

Terrible place, food was mediocre and didn't feel safe. They have a "gluten friendly" menu, whatever that means. Skip this place.
