Fairly knowledgeable staff. I got sick once out of the four times I've been there so far.
good food. huge gf menu. got glutened though. my husbands plate was on top of my gf plate, on server has his thumb touching my gf bread when it came out too.
AH-mazing! Biaggi's has the largest GF menu I have ever seen. It was actually hard to decide what to order. They brought out GF bread before the meal. It was FABULOUS! I even got to talk to the chef afterwards to thank him. I will eat here EVERY time we visit Cedar Rapids. Best GF restaurant I have been to so far!
I saw all these great reviews about this place so I ordered thinking it was safe for celiacs. I either got cross contaminated or I was accidentally served regular pasta. I haven’t had a reaction this bad in a while. I know it wasn’t on purpose but this really blows. I was so excited to have a GF Italian place
Huge gf menu, great food at good prices.
Read a lot of positive reviews and wish I could say my experience was the same. I got the Margherita Pizza with a couple add-ons. It was pretty flavorless and they forgot the basil that might have actually added flavor. The crust itself was fine. Your typical cauliflower crust. Then I also ordered the bread. The bread is just the pizza crust sliced into six pieces with a garlic oil on it. It was good, but definitely not the “bread” it looked like in the little picture. Service was also lacking. We did curbside, but after texting from the spot and then trying to call a couple of times, somebody finally answered after 10 minutes and said to come in and they will give it to us. This would be fine, and we usually do this, but this was a random night where we went out in our pajamas. A little notice on the spots and even online that curbside isn’t a thing anymore would really be helpful. Just small things added up for a lousy experience and we don’t plan to go back. Otherwise, I’ve not been sick from it so it would seem things were handled correctly.
I’ve eaten here a number of times with no issues! The staff even confirmed if I had celiac. Food is delicious! Chicken parm with penne pasta is my go to but they have several options. Food is cooked separately but it’s not a dedicated gf kitchen. However, I feel completely comfortable and safe eating here.
