I get chips and salsa, plus I get the wings and fries on a regular basis without a problem. I tend to have a pretty severe reaction to cross contamination and mixing friers but only once in maybe 2-3 dozen trips have I had even a little heartburn

Twice now I've been given regular buns instead of gluten free. The first time I trusted it because they had been doing good but ended up sick for the rest of the night. The second time I had it confirmed by both the waiter and the cook that the bun they gave me was gluten free. Turned out when I asked a third time that it wasn't.

I never like it when I get a photo copy of a menu, all bent up, with no prices or description. But at least there were no food stains on it. The print was very small and hard to read. But the food was good and they even had a choc chip cookie with ice cream for dessert. It was very good

Really great food options and ambiance! They have a plethora of awesome salads as well as GF buns, pizza, and dessert. Definitely something here for everyone!
No gluten free menu available and server was rude. They gave us an allergen free menu that we were unable to read (Font was probably 4). The server told us that it was the only copy available and didn't offer any help to accomodate us (celiac).

BJ's misses the boat. They give lip service to having gluten-free food, but they only have a few token choices, they are sloppy with cross-contamination and corporate just doesn't care to do gluten-free recipes even when it's easy.
They do have a good (one flavor) gluten-free pizza and a good (one flavor) gluten-free cookie. Everything else that is gluten-free tends to cluster at the highest price points on the menu. Even their potato skins are cross-contaminated because they can't be bothered with a separate fryer.
This is not the best choice. I'd rather they just didn't advertise gluten-free than do such a half-assed job.

best GF pizza!!! so good.
Great food and beverages
I can’t speak for anyone else’s experience but…My daughter has celiacs so eating out is a struggle, especially on the road. We picked BJ's bc they have gf buns. But they went above and beyond for my daughter. Our server Deja HANDCUT her French fries and then oven cooked them so there was no cross contamination with the fryers and had their manager cook her onions and mushrooms bc the kitchen was busy and she wanted to make sure it was right. I couldn't have asked for a better server or food for her!

I love their burgers/sandwiches. The server did warn me that the fries are cooked in a shared fryer, but it didn’t make me sick. So I guess they must change their oil out frequently or something.

I really love BJ’s as an easy place to eat out. They’re super knowledgeable about gf things and while I didn’t ask about specific practices, as soon as I said I had celiac’s, the server reassured me. And honestly the food tastes great. I had a burger and the gluten-free pizookie and it was delicious! My ice cream was even served from a brand new package to be extra safe. Didn’t get sick, would definitely come back.

Gluten Sensitive Option items marked on menu (appetizers, salads, entrees). Gluten free buns available for burgers. Gluten free pizza option. I had a Strawberry fields chicken salad with balsamic vinaigrette. It was average good.
The service was horrible, we felt like we were at an invisible table. The large group that arrived well after we ordered received their food before ours. And our 3 orders came out piece meal from the kitchen. We had to ask multiple times for items we ordered, for refills and for our change once we paid the bill.
